After that night everything seemed to be running smoothly. Nothing wrong has been happening and Min Jeul was getting some better rest after the incident. Ga-In, Narsha, Changmin and Junsu were at the mall going to watch a movie. Ricky was at the hospital with Jaejoong. Yoochun and Miryo suddenly came inside hands clutched together as if the two was holding each other’s hand for dear life.

“Oh… Is there something we missed?” Ricky asked as he smirked at the two.

“Shut up!” Yoochun said a little annoyed and Jaejoong laughed. Finally, after feeling stressed out he really need to smile.

Jaejoong continued his little stare fair over Min Jeul. He was playing with her hand rubbing it and kissing it from time to time. Everything was really quiet. Jaejoong looked at Min Jeul’s middle finger. Seeing of how empty it looked. Even with a lot of things going through his mind. He couldn’t help but think of one thing. He quickly turned to Yoochun.

“Yoochun ah, can you please come with me? I want to buy something.” Jaejoong asked.

“Can’t you go alone?” Yoochun said not wanting to leave Miryo. Miryo nudged Yoochun and he sighed. He got up and left the room.

Yoochun just continued to drive not really sure where they are even going. Jaejoong was looking on the ground the whole time. He began to bite his lips as if he was thinking so hard about something. Yoochun was getting a little disturbed at what Jaejoong was doing. He was also getting lost because he doesn’t know where the two of them are going in the first place.

“Where are we going? And why do you seem as if you’re uneasy?” Yoochun asked.

“Umm… Where’s the best jewelry shop here?” Jaejoong asked. Yoochun got even more curious when Jaejoong asked that.

“Um… I’m not sure if it’s the best but my dad got my mom’s ring there. You can them custom made to if you want.” Yoochun said and Jaejoong just nodded his head.

As soon as they got there Jaejoong began to look around. All of the precious jewelry to spark everyone’s eyes. The jewelry were seriously sparkling, all the diamonds and everything. Bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings. A world where women want to be in and things that they want to be showered upon.

Jaejoong came across a cute ring. He asked the lady if he could look at it. Yoochun approached Jaejoong as soon as he saw what Jaejoong was looking at. Jaejoong was thinking of buying it? The lady mentioned it was a perfect engagement ring. Yoochun seemed a little shocked and confused. Jaejoong asked if he could let the lady embed something on it. Jaejoong wrote on the paper and said he’ll drop by tomorrow to get it.

They got outside and before getting back inside the car Yoochun brought it up.

“Hyung…” Yoochun called out and Jaejoong looked at him.

“Yeah?” Jaejoong responded.

“Why that ring? What are you thinking of?” Yoochun asked.

“If you really are in love with Miryo even this would cross your mind.” Jaejoong said and got inside the car. The whole trip back to the hospital Yoochun couldn’t stop thinking about what Jaejoong said. He didn’t quite understand what Jaejoong was trying to say.

The whole day he kept thinking about it. Yoochun, just couldn’t put it in his head. I guess they were right when they said women usually think of this before a man would ever. Yoochun turned to look at Miryo and then Miryo looked back at him. She had a confused pouting face, wondering why Yoochun looked like that.

“Chunnie what’s wrong?” Miryo asked as she was holding both Yoochun’s hands.

“Can I ask you something?” Yoochun said.

“Wasn’t that a question already?” Miryo joked a little and giggled.

“No but seriously…” Yoochun said and Miryo stopped giggling. She looked at Yoochun seriously.

“If a man really loved a girl what would they do?” Yoochun asked.

“What do you mean?” Miryo asked.

“I don’t know, when Jaejoong and I went out we went to a jewelry shop. I asked him why buy the ring from what we saw and he said that if I really loved you I would know. I don’t get it.” Yoochun said and Miryo laughed at him. Yoochun got curious and just gave Miryo a weird look while she continued to laugh at him.

“Pabo! Pabo pabo pabo!” Miryo kept repeating the same word exclaiming how stupid Yoochun seemed.

“Why am I stupid?” Yoochun asked.

“A jewelry shop, he tells you if you really love someone you would know. And he probably bought an engagement ring right?” Miryo asked with her head tilted.

Yoochun was beginning to understand a bit. Miryo’s eyes kept growing when Yoochun was finally getting it. It was already on the tip of his tongue and all he had to do was say it.

“Jaejoong wants to propose to Min Jeul.”

There you have it, Yoochun himself finally got it and said it. Jaejoong intended to marry Min Jeul, not only because he felt that her middle finger seemed empty but because he found this as a reason for him to not lose this chance that he has already. Ricky fell asleep on the couch and Jaejoong just kept looking up at Min Jeul. Playing with her hand and brushing his fingers through her hair.

Min Jeul… I have my chance already and I don’t want to lose it. I don’t want to lose you one more time as well. I don’t think I can take it anymore. I want you to be very happy and I see this as the only answer to it. Whether the media finds out or not I wouldn’t careless. If people would say it’s the wrong decision or not I wouldn’t care, as long as this will tell you and explain to you how much I really do love you. I really want to do this and I intend to. I hope you’ll say yes when I ask you to marry me.

Jaejoong thought as he was looking at Min Jeul and slowly letting out a smile. Yunho got back and he entered the room and he was followed by Miryo and Yoochun who were outside. Yunho looked really depressed. Jaejoong wanted to ask but he decided not to. The two of them haven’t really talked to each other formally just yet.

“Yunho, what’s wrong? Don’t be depressed. I know you’re still sad about what happened but think of Min Jeul.” Miryo said as she gave a pout to Yunho who just decided to ignore it. Yunho approached Min Jeul a bit and Yoochun as well as Miryo were afraid that they might fight. Jaejoong and Yunho might fight in front of Min Jeul who’s fast asleep.

“I’m sorry…” Yunho said to Jaejoong and Jaejoong just looked at him.

“Like I said before, you may hear it over and over again. We may just be co-workers from now on but to me you’re still my friend and you’ll always will be. If you did this to me I wouldn’t care unless you apologize. I’m hoping you’d forgive me but I wouldn’t be so sure about it.” Yunho said. He was apologizing to Jaejoong and Yoochun and Miryo just looked.

“You’re right, you shouldn’t be so sure about it.” Jaejoong said changing his mood.

“Jaejoong ah, please don’t stay mad at me. We may remain co-workers on your side, but at least take out your grudge on me already. I don’t want to keep thinking every night that you’re mad at me even when sometimes I know you aren’t even thinking about it.” Yunho said.

“I’m going to ask Min Jeul to marry me.” Jaejoong said as he looked at Yunho.

Honestly speaking that really pierced into Yunho’s heart. It was more like a stab, a hard one too. Yunho wanted to cry or throw something but he had to keep his cool. He tried to keep his facial expression blank so Jaejoong wouldn’t notice, but either way Jaejoong would know that Yunho was hurt. Miryo just ignored what the two were doing. She didn’t want to know what was going to happen.

Jaejoong was being ignorant of how Yunho was feeling. He even ignored Yunho’s sincere apology. It seems like no matter how much Yunho tries what he did to Jaejoong was really heartbreaking and unforgivable. Something Yunho couldn’t blame Jaejoong for. Yunho sat down on the couch and tried to keep quiet the whole time.

The following day the news spread and Ga-In and Narsha were squealing inside the guest’s room along with Yoochun, Junsu, Miryo and Changmin. Changmin was eating popcorn at the side and he found it annoying how the girls kept on screaming from time to time.

“Ya! Keep it down!” Changmin said as he was looking really mad at them.

“Bleh! Shut up Changmin!” Ga-In said.

“Ya! You shut up! You’re the one screaming and shouting.” Changmin complained.

“What? But I’m a girl! It’s natural! You are such a baby!” Ga-In said. Before Changmin can backfire at her Yoochun grabbed a handful of popcorn and shoved it onto Changmin’s mouth.

“I feel as if your voice is being wasted over nonsense.” Yoochun said as he complained this time.

“I’m happy Jaejoong hyung is going to get married.” Junsu said, Changmin spit out all the popcorn back to the bowl and all of them found it disgusting.

“Ew Changmin.” Narsha said.

“It’s still clean! I brush my teeth all the time unlike somebody.” Changmin said looking at Junsu.

“Why are you trying to target me? I brush my teeth all the time!” Junsu said.

“I wasn’t! Who said I was pointing at you! Why do you guys keep treating me like this?!” Changmin complained like a 7 year old.

“Because you’re too easy!” Narsha said.

“So, among all of us only Min Jeul doesn’t know?” Narsha asked focusing on the main topic as she looked at Miryo and Miryo nodded her head.

“Wait! Since Jaejoong hyung told Yoochun hyung that Yoochun hyung will only understand what Jaejoong was doing is if he really love Miryo, so does that mean since Yoochun hyung didn’t get it he doesn’t love Miryo noona? Or shouldn’t you marry Miryo noona like now?” Changmin said being really childish.

The three girls along with Junsu laughed at what Changmin said, which I honestly think is right, and Yoochun grabbed the bowl of popcorn. He dumped the popcorn onto Changmin’s head making a mess on the ground. Changmin complained once more as usual.

“Hyung!” Changmin whined and all of them laughed.

“You don’t need to marry someone if you really love them. But I’m not trying to say that Jaejoong shouldn’t marry Min Jeul but you guys get my point.” Miryo said.

“No I don’t.” Changmin said being stupid once more and this time Junsu hit his head and he whined in pain and the girls just laughed.

“There’s one more person that doesn’t know…” Ga-In said, at the same time she felt sad. She seemed depressed at what she said.

“Who else doesn’t know? Jaejoong’s parents? They’ll find out don’t worry!” Narsha said.

“No not them…” Ga-In said.

“Then who else wouldn’t know?” Junsu asked.

“Jea unni…” Ga-In said and kept shut. She was looking on the ground as she was practically digging her nails onto her thigh’s skin. Changmin saw it and stood up. He sat next to Ga-In and grabbed her hand to make her stop before she could hurt herself.

“Don’t worry about her, she won’t ruin anything anymore. We’ll be fine without her and that’s for sure. Don’t worry, your Yoochun oppa will take care of her.” Miryo said.

“I will?” Yoochun said surprised.

“Yes you will find a way for Jea not to know and for Jea to stay away from Min Jeul and or Jaejoong.” Miryo said.

“How does she expect me to do that…” Yoochun whispered that only Junsu could hear but apparently all of them did. Miryo tossed a pillow at Yoochun and he was surprised as he looked at her.

“Are you complaining?” Miryo asked sternly and Yoochun shook his head.

“Now you’re like her puppy.” Junsu teased and Yoochun glared at him.

The following day Yoochun came with Jaejoong to get the ring. Junsu and Changmin tagged along. When they arrived Changmin was surprised to see all of the jewelry and so was Junsu. The two kept pointing around like tourists but more like children who haven’t seen any of it. The sales ladies were all giggling at how cute and funny the two looked liked. Yoochun just hit their heads as soon as he noticed.

“I’m here to get the ring I bought yesterday. I asked you to engrave something on it.” Jaejoong said to the woman and she went to the back. She came out holding a small white box.

Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin crowded behind their Jaejoong hyung and saw as he opened the box. Their eyes sparkled out how pretty the ring was. It was simple but all around the ring have small heart shaped diamonds sparkling. On the inside of the ring Jaejoong and Min Jeul’s name was engraved in Korean. Luckily the sales lady didn’t make a mistake in writing it down.

“How is it sir?” the sales lady asked.

“It’s very nice. Thank you.” Jaejoong said and placed it back in the box. The four of them rode back in the car. Junsu and Changmin were looking carefully at the ring.

“Hyung! How much does this thing cost?” Changmin asked completely curious and still surprised at how beautiful the ring was.

“It cost me $20,000.” Jaejoong said and the two gasped.

“Eh?! Really?!” the two said at the same time. At that time Yoochun roughly made a stop at the stop sign and he got pissed off at the two who suddenly just yelled at his ear. He turned to them and hit them one by one.

“Don’t yell like that okay? You’re surprising me! What if you yelled and surprised me and all of a sudden I lose control of the car?” Yoochun said and the two apologized and Jaejoong just laughed at them.

They got back to the hospital and all of them were there. Jaejoong hid the box in his pocket and went near Min Jeul. Yoochun approached Miryo who was next to Yunho and they began to talk about Jaejoong proposing.

“Did he say when he would propose?” Miryo asked and Yoochun nodded.

“On the ride home he said he didn’t need any fancy dinner or whatever, he just wants to ask her right here right now.” Yoochun said and Miryo was shocked but happy.

She was so surprised at how Jaejoong was taking it completely seriously. Yunho heard the conversation and he couldn’t help but feel really sad. The words pierced into his heart and he was really depressed. Narsha noticed the look on Yunho’s face and she didn’t know what to say so she kept shut.

Jaejoong was playing with Min Jeul’s house, this time she was awake and was looking at Jaejoong who looked happy and calm. Min Jeul also noticed a little sign of excitement in Jaejoong’s face because from time to time he would flash his bright white teeth which was coming from excitement and happiness he was feeling.

“Jaejoong oppa….” Min Jeul called out and Jaejoong looked at her.

“Yes?” Jaejoong asked as he gave a sweet crooked smile to Min Jeul. His very cute crooked smile too.

“Why are you smiling like that?” Min Jeul asked as she giggled.

“You really want to know?” Jaejoong asked.

Everybody in the room looked at the two. They had a feeling Jaejoong was going to ask her now. Changmin, being childish fished out his phone from his pocket and put it on video and focused his cellphone’s camera on the two. Min Jeul nodded and Jaejoong reached for his pocket. Yunho was looking at Jaejoong’s hand movement.

Jaejoong pulled out the white box from earlier. Yunho felt another pierce of pain when he saw the white box. He had a feeling he knew what was inside already. Jaejoong opened the box and showed it to Min Jeul. Min Jeul smiled, but only because it looked really pretty. Even her eyes smiled as she was dazzled by the ring.

“Jaejoong ah, what’s this?” Min Jeul asked and Jaejoong took a deep breath before speaking.

“Min Jeul…. I really love you and I don’t care how fancy or nice this needs to usual be but I’ll do it my way.” Jaejoong said.

He grabbed both of Min Jeul’s hands and his lips as he stared at her with his pretty eyes staring back at her pretty eyes. Jaejoong inhaled and exhaled once more. He looked at Min Jeul and it took him a while before he could say anything. He grabbed the ring from the box and fit it in Min Jeul’s hand. He got even more happy to know that the ring actually fits. Because he was worrying it wouldn’t.

“Min Jeul…” Jaejoong asked and Min Jeul looked at the ring and then at Jaejoong.

“Will you please marry me?” Jaejoong asked and Min Jeul had dropped open. Her heart was pumping a little fast.

Jaejoong had a sour look on his face. He bit his lip hoping that it would be a yes. Yunho had a worried look on his face hoping for a no even though it would pain everyone. Narsha, Ga-In and Miryo were all squealing quietly. Yoochun and Ricky were a little excited to know. Junsu was just staring at the two eyes wide open, Changmin was still videoing the whole scenario and was biting his fingernails in the process.

“Jaejoong ah….” Min Jeul was saying as if she was losing her breath. All of a sudden Min Jeul passed out and everybody panicked and screamed.
