No one saw it coming, or maybe it was just me. I should have expected it, what the hell was I thinking.

It's the start of another race.

It was a Saturday, we were all in the dining hall having breakfast. The chatter was constant, the sole topic was Luhan's transformation, which due to everybody was friend with Kai on his Fb, they all got to see Luhan's picture. And I also heard my name being mentioned once or twice, as the person who did the makeup. I felt so honored.

Luhan sat opposite of me, headphones covering his ears with loud music drifting out of it. He stuffed his mouth with rice non stop to prevent hearing what he deemed was an insult to his manly self. Kai and I would catch each other's eyes and snickered to ourselves most of the time.

For once, Sehun was sitting at our table with us. He normally sat at Kris' table, saying our table were too much noisy for his taste when I asked him to sit with us. So when he placed his tray next to mine, all of us lifted our head and gave him a questioning look. He ignored it and sat quietly beside me, already spooning the soup and gulped it down.

Kai, who was sitting on my other side, had a troubled look on his face when he saw Sehun beside me. He furrowed his brows and stared at Sehun, his expression unreadable. When his gaze slid over to me, I raised my own brows, silently asking him what's up. He shook his head and a small grin made its way to his lips. 

Professor Kwang Soo made his appearance in the dining hall shortly after that. We listened to his announcement attentively. 

"Guys, this will be the final race for this semester" he announced to the silent hall. 

I raised my brows confusingly. What?

"As you all knows, the final exams will be at the start of next month and then all of you will be busy with the annual party. So, now is a good time for the last and biggest race to be held" Professor Kwang Soo explained.

"Now?" Someone at the back of the hall said loudly.

The professor nodded. "Yes, as in today. The race will start in an hour."

"What kind of race are we gonna do?" Eunhyuk asked.

Professor Kwang Soo smiled. "Killer Wink"

"I don't know what that game is. I've never played it before in my life" Tao whined loudly, a few of the dorm members murmured in agreement. 

"If you'd be quiet for a second, I could explain it properly" Suho said exasperatedly, tugging on his hair. We gathered in Suho's room for him to explain the game's rules and talked strategies.

"Tao, behave." Kris patted the boy next to him with a very puke inducing fond look. Then he turned his eyes on the rest of us. "All of you, shut up and listen."
