THE FAN GIRLS
For You In Full BloomThe next day was awkward/weird for a lot of reasons. First, thanks to me kicking his crotch, I can't sleep well due to being on alert in case Sehun decided to murder me in my sleep.
So I pretty much shot out of bed when the door slammed and there were tell-tale signs that Sehun had left for class before me. I showered and grumbled a little as I binded my chest and wore extra shirt under my uniform before stepping out of the bathroom.
I found another headache waiting for me as they lounged on my bed languidly.
"Morning Haneul. How was your first night?" Luhan chirped happily.
I put all of my books into my backpack, checked that I have not forgotten my pencil case and zipped up my bag. I sat down in my chair heavily. "My first night? I'm lucky I'm still breathing this morning"
I reached for my necktie that was on top of the dresser and jammed it onto my neck and tried to tie it properly. Luhan gave a simpered laugh.
"You're so funny, Haneul. Maybe that's why everybody likes you even on your first day."
I sighed internally. I wished they would like me a little less just so I can stayed on the fringe. I'm trying not to attract attention towards myself, so my secret can still be a secret a little longer. No point getting kick out now when I've made that bet with Sehun.
"Hurry up, will you? I have to walk to school with you."
I looked up from my hopeless task of tying the tie. I never really got the hang of it, anyway. My mom was always the one tying it for me back home.
"Huang Zitao, why do I have to walk to class with you?" I asked in a cold voice.
I didn't really like the guy, he gave off an unfriendly aura and the impression of a hired assassin. Tao rolled his eyes. He came to stand in front of me and slapped my hands away from my tie and did it himself. My hands were numb for a minute while he concentrated to loop the tie this way and that way. Finally, he step back and admired his handiwork with critical eyes. He nodded once.
"Kris told me to you in case you got mob by the fan girls." He reached up and straightened the tie immaculately.
I cocked my brows at Luhan. "I thought this is an all-boys school. Why would there be any fan girls?"
Tao chuckled mysteriously. "You'll see. Let's go Luhan." He hitched his backpack onto his back and walked out of my room.
Luhan draped his arms around my shoulders and took a deep breath. "Ready?" He questioned.
I gulped nervously. "Not really."
He just smirked. "Too bad. Hang on, then."
The fan girls were actually students from Sky High's sister school, Meadow High. My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when I saw rows of girls standing along the walkway heading to Sky High. Their cheers were deafening as they clapped and shouted the names of the students who were passing by. For god's sakes, they even have placards and banners of their biases.
"What is this?" I asked weakly as I saw a girl tried
