IT'S A TIP-OFF
For You In Full Bloom
I sat on the bench, listening to every words that came out of Kris' mouth deeply. I had to admit, he looked so damn hot in the basketball jersey, his blond hair drooped lazily across his forehead. With his tall heights, he looked more like a runway model instead of a high school student.
"Okay listen up, guys. The first match is going to be Dorm 1 versus Dorm 3. Then it's going to be us versus Dorm 3 later in the evening session."
Kai whistled softly beside me. "I'll bet they're gonna be tired by that time." I nodded in agreement. Can't help it, though. That's how the lots were drawn.
Kris continued. "Then tomorrow, it's gonna be Dorm 2 against Dorm 1 in the morning session. The next day is the finals"
Lay raised his hand agitatedly. "How do we know which team will be in the finals? There's only 3 teams in this school"
Tao rolled his eyes and muttered softly, "Thank you, Captain Obvious"
Kris flashed a warning look towards the younger boy before turning his attention back to us. "It's the play-off, Lay, meaning either we wins or loses, no draws. So the finals will be whichever team that wins 2 games versus the team that wins one game. Any question so far?"

"Well, he is the team captain. Besides, the guy got some mad skills to boot." Kai replied airily while I just chuckled.
We were pushed aside and I bumped into Kai roughly. I snapped my head around and saw Tao stood behind us with a threatening stance.
Kai carefully pushed me away and making sure he had minimal contact with me, which was an absurd thing to do seeing I was just shoved bodily against him. He steadied me on my feet before turning towards Tao.
"What was that for?" He hissed.
Tao crossed his arms over his chest and scoffed. "I have a bat-like hearing, if you know what I mean" he glared at us before he started to walk away.
"You're just a plain old monster in disguise" Kai muttered under his breath.
Tao stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder at us. I hid behind Kai and Kai gulped, grinning nervously. Maybe Tao was just reserving his energy for our upcoming games that he thought it's just a waste to beat us up, nevertheless he pointed his fingers at his eyes before pointing at us, a classic sign of 'I'm watching you', before he walked away. I stepped away from behind Kai.
"Thanks for backing me up" Kai's voice was dripping with sarcasm as we headed
