GIVE ME A REASON
For You In Full Bloom
Kai ran like his life depended on it, literally. He was done sitting around and not doing anything. He still didn't know why he felt this way. Why did his heart hurt when he saw the way Haneul looked into Sehun's eyes? When he heard Haneul had left, he felt like he'd rather die than lose him.
That's when he started to figure it out, well, sort off, although admitting it out loud was still weird. Why it hurts so much, why he kept stealing glances towards the person he thought as his best friend. He was done with everything, even if society frowned upon it, he wouldn't care.
Even when Sehun said he didn't want to ask Haneul to stay, he didn't care.
Even if Haneul would never see him as more than a friend, he wouldn't care.
Because all Kai cared about was that the person named Lee Haneul wouldn't leave.
He skidded to a stop when he saw him sitting alone at the bus stop, his bags next to him, staring into space. He breathed a relief sigh when he saw Haneul was still there.

Kai sighed. He could never be angry with this guy, no matter what. He heard Haneul sniffed before he pinched the bridge of his nose, probably to stop the waterworks from coming out.
Kai took his hands into his own and brought them to his laps. He liked the way their hands contrasted together, his dark skin tones complements Haneul's fair and small ones.
"I have something to tell you, Haneul. I hope you give me a chance and listen till the end."
He felt Haneul nodded next to him.
Kai looked up and watched Haneul's face clearly. He saw how his eyes filled with curiosity, head tilted waiting for his words, how his nose looked as cute as a button, his mouth parted in expectation.
"You're my best friend, Haneul. I feel so sad when I heard you're just gonna leave without telling me anything. Yes, Sehun has started to dance, but that doesn't mean you should just leave. I don't even understand why you felt that way. If Sehun doesn't want you to stay, that's his problem. But I do want you to stay because -"
"Who said I don't want that?"
Kai froze, closing his eyes in resigned. When he opened them again, he saw the light in Haneul's eyes were back. Haneul stood up, slowly, taking
