THE LEAVING
For You In Full Bloom"I thought I told you before that this isn't a hotel nor a cafe for you to hang out freely."
I ignored the sarcastic comment and proceeded to stare outside the window, hugging my knees tighter to my chest.
Doc Kyu blocked my line of sight as he leaned against the said window and handed me a cup of coffee. I accepted the offering with a grateful nod.
"This isn't the hq for Sehun's fan club either." He couldn't resist a last jab with a huge grin.
I glared at him.
He straightened up and walked to his desk, leaving me to continue sulking next to the window. I sipped the hot coffee slowly while listening to him arrange the clutter on his desk.
"So, you wanna tell me why you're sitting here wallowing in self pity?"
I sighed. "Sehun has started to dance again."
There was a pause from behind me. Then, "Really?"
I nodded.
"How did you accomplish that feat?"
The noise started up again. Now he's opening and closing his drawers looking for god knows what.
"I didn't." I said bitterly. "It turned out he asked Lay to help him get back in shape every night before the previous race began." I pouted.

The doc just cocked his brows in response. I refused to elaborate by playing with the cup in my hand. He sighed. "Like I said, what's the problem with that?"
"Mission accomplished. Level finished. There's no reason for me to stay here anymore." I stated in a flat tone.
"Oh."
I begrudgingly nod my head. Now we're getting somewhere.
He drummed his fingers on the tabletop, his eyes wandering around the room, a trait of his that I've recognised that means he's put on his thinking cap. I waited with a bated breath for his verdict.
Finally, he stopped his drumming fingers and the silence in the room grew heavy. He looked at me, giving me a small smile that didn't quite reached his eyes.
I hung my head and studied the floor in the clinic. When I spoke, I'm glad that my voice was steady and I managed to say everything I meant to. "Thank you for everything you've done for me. I'm forever in your debt. You are forever my fairy godmother."
I bowed to the doc before I spun on my heels and leave the room. But I still remembered the pity and helplessness I saw in his eyes before I left.
I decided to make my getaway at dinnertime. I've already packed all my important stuff in my luggage and stowed them beside the wardrobe. I just have to beg my brother to come and pick up the rest of my stuffs later on.
I looked around the room, memorising all the details in it. I clenched my jaw and blinked my eyes repeatedly, refusing to succumb to my sadness. I've done all I c
