In Soo Hyun's arms, Ga In's eyes could be seen over his shoulder. "Soo Hyun-" She started but he cut her off, his voice shaking. 

"Let's do it together, let's find that person behind everything together. Let's stay together and finish this together. I can't let you-no. I won't let you do this alone. You don't have to return to Soo Guk, you don't have to hurt me, you can be yourself." 

"I'm afraid that would be impossible Soo Hyun-"

"Ga In please I'm begging you!" Soo Hyun cried and tighten his hold around her, "I know in the past you couldn't rely on me because I was weak compare to my brothers. But now you can, please lean on me and let's do this together!" 

"I can't involve you-"

"I'm already involved! I need to be involve, it's the only way you won't get hurt alone. I won't let you go to my brother. I won't let you go to my Min Soo, I won't allow it. Ga In, just this once, please let me prove to you how capable I am to protect you. Not just now, but in the future as well."

"Soo Hyun, I-"

"I know. You'd prefer to do this alone, you've been solving cases on your own for seven years even when you didn't have a partner. Soo Hyun cut Ga In off again, afraid she wasn't convinced, already. "Kill me first! Kill me first if you're going to leave me again. I could barely the first round, just kill me if you're going to start the second round." He heard Ga In sigh against his chest. 

"Who told you about the person behind them?" Ga In asked calmly. At first Soo Hyun thought he had heard wrong, through all of his confessions and words, Ga In was still calm and curious. "Was it Myungsoo?"

"Yeah...." Soo Hyun answered quietly, embarrassed all of a sudden. 

"Then did he tell you I was going to leave you again?" 

Soo Hyun shook his head, "You can't leave me Ga In!" 

Ga In sighed, "So he did.... That big mouth." Ga In cursed Myungsoo out and lifted her head a little so she could breath through more easily. She wrapped her arms around him and exhaled heavily before proceeding, "Soo Hyun. Let's do this. We'll find that person together under one condition." 

Soo Hyun listened closely and most carefully, not wanting to miss anything she'd said. And especially when her voice was a soft melody to his ears. 

"Promise me first."

"I promise, if we're going to find that person together, I'll obey your every word."

"Chief Lee's daughter, Lee Suzy. Marry her." Ga In said softly. Soo Hyun froze at that, as if someone had stabbed his heart with the sharpest knife. Her condition rang in his head.

Suzy was thrown against the wall, she grunted and slide down, sitting on the cold tiles. She covered her right shoulder as the wound had reopened and blood was seen through her hospital attire. She glared at the cold eyes of Soo Guk, panting heavily with pain and exhaustion. 

Soo Guk squatted in front of her. "A like you tried to interrupt my work. Why?" She could hear the carelessness in his tone, the way he looked at her. He wasn't going to be kind to her. But that wasn't what was bothering her, behind Soo Guk was the presence of two other. 

She knew one to be Hyungsik, as she had seen him many times in prison. But the man next to him, he was not a man she was familiar with. He was not Henney and he was not Myungsoo. 

He didn't look cold like Myungsoo. 

He didn't look evil like Sunggyu. 

He wasn't pretty like Sungjong. 

He wasn't tall like Soo Hyun nor Soo Guk. 

He wasn't as old as the mayor. 

And he didn't seem powerful nor rich.

Suzy's train of thoughts and curiosity was killed when Soo Guk grabbed her wounded shoulder and dug his fingers in. "You petty thing, such a waste of space." Before he could continue any further, the door slid open. Everyone's attention turned toward it but the unknown man. 

"Bullying a patient at the same hospital as me is disrespectful. Didin't you know that big brother Soo Guk?"

Soo Guk released his hand from Suzy's shoulder, his fingers marked with Suzy's blood. He stood up straight and tall, looking only to Sunggyu. "Well, it's been a while since I've seen you my dear adopted brother."
