It felt like years since Soo Hyun last saw Han Ga In. The last time they met, because he was in another department, Ga In and her former partner had to dealt with a gang of criminals that has been on the run for a long time; at least for more than a decade. But Soo Hyun wasn't able to help Ga In and she had failed to capture them, thus Jae Suk yelled at her a lot afterwards and kept her out of cases that was any gang related. Not to mention more than just catching a gang of criminals happened that day. But no one wants to talk about it, especially not Ga In. 

However, Soo Hyun was the new transferred detective, set up to become Ga In's partner as of today. 

Although it was his first day of work at the same agency as Ga In, he had visited many times and learned that the cunning woman in her late twenties takes bath in the men's room.

That was when the younger man ripped the curtains opened and once again, wasn't pleased with the sight. Ga In had her back to him and didn't noticed his presence until he reached over and tapped her on the shoulders, in which she reacted, but not in the most friendly way.

Ga In pulled out her self-defense skills and splashed water into his eyes then smack him on the forehead, forcing him to take a few steps back. 

"Ah!" He groaned in pain due to the sudden attack, but Ga In quickly noticed him. 

"Kim Soo Hyun!" She called loudly pointing her index finger directly at him, then she reached over and shut off the water. "What are you doing here?" She asked after wiping the water off her face. Soo Hyun still had a hand over his temple and another wiping the water off his face. 

"D-do you seriously have to do that?" He asked as he slowly recovered and Ga In scoffed. 

"Who told you to touch someone who was showering, you punk?" She asked both hands on her hips. 

"S-shower? How can you call it showering when you're wearing clothes?" He asked. Ga In was fully clothed in her clothes from yesterday, except her jacket was off and so was her shoes. 

"Why can't I shower with clothes on? What if there's an emergency? I wouldn't have time to put my clothes on." She said and stepped out from the stall, then she kicked him on the shin and caused him to groan once again. This time one hand helplessly covering his left shin and another over his forehead. 

"Ah! Why are you taking out your anger on me?" He asked irritated and Ga In in her breath. 

"Look at this, you came here first and jumped me but I have to show you mercy?"

"T-that's not what I'm saying-"

"What are you doing here anyway?" She asked cutting to the chase. Soo Hyun's childish acts faded and he stood tall and calm. He cleared his throat and hid his arms behind him. 

"What? You're my new partner?" Ga In asked with slightly opened, Soo Hyun smiled revealing his teeth. 

"That's correct." 

Ga In examined him some more, he was nicely dressed from head to toe in a black suit with a milk white necktie. However, something about him amused her. "Why is your hair like that?" She asked letting out a soft chuckle. Soo Hyun's hair was spiked up, which was unusually like him, and he smelled of strong cherry cologne. 

Soo Hyun's face reddens and his eyes wandered. "I-I thought I should change my hairdo...." He wanted to impressed her but with her dying to hold in a mocking laugh, he assumed he had failed. 

"It looks good on you, but I prefer your hair down." Ga In said with a soft smile which thrown him off guard. She said it looks good?! Ga In turned away from him and grabbed a towel near the sink. She wiped her soaked clothes down then looked up and smiled when she was prepared. "Alright partner, shall we grab breakfast before we get to work?" 

"Breakfast? But it's midnight...."

"Exactly, how about ramen for breakfast?" Ga In asked and Soo Hyun couldn't refused to follow her idea, so he nodded and followed along. 

"His name is Lee Sungjong, a student at Seoul University, please take care of him." A man said through the ph
