hapter XXXXV - Swipe -Myungsoo looked into Soo Hyun's dark eyes and scoffed a little as he turned his head to the side, then locked eyes with the taller man once more, "Well this is awkward." Myungsoo stated as he took off his hat with one hand. "It's been a long time, Kim Soo Hyun."
"Where's Ga In?" Soo Hyun demand for an answer, just to be blown off by the latter.
"How did you know I was coming here?" Myungsoo asked, Sungyeol slowly approached them when he noticed something seemed off.
"Hey are you not going to come in?" Sungyeol asked as he stood beside Soo Hyun, he caught Myungsoo's gaze for a brief moment.
"Why didn't you warn me he was here?" Myungsoo asked and Sungyeol became dumbfounded.
"Me? What did I do?" He pointed inward toward himself, then as Myungsoo spun on his heels and was about to leave, Soo Hyun grabbed him by the arm stopping him completely.
"Myungsoo, I asked where Ga In is."
Myungsoo crooked his head to the side as a sign of irritation, then his lips before spinning his head halfway around, "Don't worry about her, she's not in any danger." Soo Hyun wasn't satisfied with his answer, he pulled the shorter man once more which widen Sungyeol's eyes.
"Be more specific." Soo Hyun demand in a control voice. He was trying his best not to attack Myungsoo, in case the man decided to choose not to answer him. As much as he was surprise to see Myungsoo after five years, he wanted to know more about Ga In. When Myungsoo and Ga In went missing together, he knew they had been together. He could feel it.
"What the heck is going on? Do you guys know each other?" Sungyeol asked but his question was easily dismissed.
"She's not yours to worry anymore, she's married so got it?" Myungsoo bluntly stated then inhaled deeply to calm his growing harsh tone, "As someone who used to think of you as a friend, that's all I want to leave you with." Myungsoo said in a softer and regretable voice before yanking his arm from Soo Hyun's hold, then walked out of there.
"Hey! Yoo Myungsoo!" Sungyeol called after the man but didn't chase him, instead he turned to Soo Hyun. "Who's Ga In? Why are you and Myungsoo so weird?"
You're the weird one with your weird place.... Was what Soohyun would have said. But because his mnd was so occupied with thoughts of what Myungsoo had just said, he had missed what Sungyeol was talking about.
If Myungsoo was the owner of the phone in which was used to call Ga In's old number, there's only two reasons as to why Soo Hyun could come up with. Whether it's because Myungsoo and Ga In are not together that Myungsoo had decided to call Ga In after five years, or maybe Ga In dialed the number herself. But he couldn't be sure because the call ended shortly last night.
Soo Hyun took a last look at the confused Sungyeol, "Thanks for your help again today." And with that he headed off to find Myungsoo again. If what he had been believing all these years was correct, that Ga In and Myungsoo went missing together, and since Myungsoo is in Seoul, it means Ga In must be in Seoul.
But for what reason did they remain in hiding, why hadn't they contacted Soo Hyun when he thought they were all gone? Why didn't Ga In contact him? Was what they had even love to begin with? Being a man at the age of 33, he wanted to settle down. He wanted to settle down with her. And with only her.
If only he knew she would go missing without a trail. He would have tied the knot and kept her beside him for the remainder of his life. Even if Ga In was against that idea, he would have been by her side when she too, must have needed him.
And for five years, Soo Hyun carried that guilt.
Alone.
Ga In was standing alone, looking through the glass window. Although she appeared to be spacing out, she was trying to remember the call last night. Soo Hyun's voice, the voice she once heard of everyday, the voice who asked her out on their first dates, the voice she longed to hear once more.
But when
