Soo Hyun woke to the flashes made by his phone near his face. It was another call from Ga In, Soo Hyun's tried to keep his eyes open as he noticed he was lying on his back in the middle of nowhere. He picked up his phone and saw that he had ten missed calls from Ga In and it was five in the morning. 

He sat upright and scanned the scenery. Another call came and Soo Hyun answered it spiritless. 

"Kim Soo Hyun, where are you? I've been trying to contact you all-"

"Let's talk later." Soo Hyun said and hung up. He kicked the sand that had begun building and stacking up around him when the wind have been blowing the rest of the night. He stood up and weakly make his way back to the city. 

Seven in the morning, Ga In was in the front of Soo Hyun's house. "Soo Hyun!" Ga In called as she ring the door bell and knock on the gate. Then from behind someone pulled Ga In on the arm and spun her around. Ga In was taken by surprise but quickly recognize the person. "Soo Hyun." She said under her breath. 

Soo Hyun appeared as his normal self. The only thing different was his puffy eyes and the way he stared into Ga In's dark pupils. He had on a serious toned facial expression and the way his stare was sharp. Soo Hyun let out a smoke of breath as the morning was still cool. He shoved his hands into his jacket pocket and stepped back. 

"What are you doing here so early?" He asked. Ga In blinked in confusion but quickly regain her composure. 

"Ah I was worried so I came by to check on you...." She said. The darkness of his eyes did not match the tone of his calm voice. 

"Have you eaten?" He asked and Ga In shook her head. "What are you doing not eating first thing in the morning?" Soo Hyun asked but it sounded more like a comment, he extracted his hands out from his pockets and grabbed Ga In. "Let's grab breakfast together then." He said gently as he slide his right hand which was clapped together with Ga In's left into his pocket. 

They bought warmed bread at a street stall. They seated themselves around a small rounded table, across from each other. Ga In finished the warm and sweet bread with a smile on her face, Soo Hyun watched from the side. "Did you eat dinner last night? You seem hungry." Soo Hyun started and Ga In heaved an upset sigh. 

"I didn't get the chance to, my bro-" Ga In stopped herself and then spun her whole body toward Soo Hyun's direction then leaned over the table a little. "But where were you yesterday? After we went to see Lee Byung Hun's body you just took off and disappeared for the whole day." She said with a curious frown. 

Soo Hyun avoided an explanation, instead he leaned in as well just to question her, "Ga In, answer me honestly." He started and she listened attentively. "If one day I just vanish, what would you-" Before Soo Hyun could complete his question, Ga In shoved her leftover bread into his mouth. 

"Are you writing a sad love story? Why would you just vanish?" Ga In asked, Soo Hyun took a bite and took out the rest of bread that he didn't feel like swallowing. Ga In stood up from her seat, "I need another piece of bread." She said and hurried to the stand. 

Soo Hyun smiled a little, "Of course.... Even if I vanish she will be fine. She's Han Ga In a detective after all." Soo Hyun mumbled. 

"You're right about that." 

Soo Hyun jumped at the sudden voice that came from behind his shoulder. He turned around and noticed it was Hoya, the man let out a chuckle. "Wow, Kim Soo Hyun! You seem a lot better now." Hoya said as he playfully smack Soo Hyun on the arm. 

"Y-you what are you doing here?" Soo Hyun asked. 

"Me?" Hoya looked around and then leaned closer to Soo Hyun, "I have a date." 

"Again?"

"What do you mean again?" Hoya asked dumbfounded. 

"You went on a date with what.... Nana! You went with Nana last time." Soo Hyun pointed out, Hoya waved him off. 

"No, no, no you're wrong. That was hardly a date." Hoya said, Soo Hyun frowned a little. 

"What do you mean that was hardly a date...?"

"We didn't kiss!" Hoya shouted then cover his mouth, Soo Hyun shook his head and wanted to face-palm himself. 

"Who? You and Soo Hyun?" Ga In asked as she was standing across the table. Soo Hyun
