Soo Hyun froze in his seat while Jae Suk wait for his answer, tapping the armchair. When he was sure the question came as a surprise to the younger one, the older man continued, "Of course if you don't want to marry her I can understand. She's not good wife material afterall since she seem to take after her mother." He exhaled and gained a disagree hum from Soo Hyun. 

"If she were wife material, she definitely won't be working under you Chief Yoo, and she won't be Han Ga In." Soo Hyun comment earning a chuckle from Jae Suk. 

"I'm impressed Soo Hyun. You're a strange fellow; you know so much about her yet you won't marry her immediately, does she lack something in your opinion?" He asked with a smile plastered on his face. 

Soo Hyun once again couldn't find the right words to tell the older man. It wasn't that Ga In lacked something, rather he was very fond of her and he admired her. But he knows his love will never be returned, Ga In was someone who have given up on love a long time ago, and he was fully aware of it.

But not wanting to leave the man hanging he quickly respond, "She is your daughter Chief, and as your daughter she lacks nothing."

Ga In was packing some of her belongings into a black bag when her phone begin vibrating, pulling it out she saw the number on the screen. It was a long forgotten number; a number she always receieve during this time of the year.

She held the device to her ear and could hear the happy voice on the other line. "Han Ga In~"

It was no one else, other than Park Hyungsik, an old friend of hers. From the accent hidden behind him calling her name, anyone could tell he was from Busan. "Detective Park, what a pleasant surprise." She greeted him coldly and he chuckled.

"I know, I know. I bug you every year but I have to or else she won't forgive me." He paused for a second and Ga In could hear keys gingling around on the other line. The man was probably struggling through his heavy and large key chains again. 

Ga In sighed and crossed her arms, "I'll give you a minute." 

"Huh? Oh, yeah thanks. Hold on a minute." Then his phone was heard hitting something made of metal; the roof of his car. Ga In waited for the man to finish doing whatever he was doing, she was so used to him struggling to find the right keys that even if he wasn't in sight, the image was pretty clear to her. 

He would always stick his tongue out of his lips and one by one, he would push the keys into the lock and try to unlock it. Sometimes the key would get stuck and he would rest a foot against the door of the car and pulled out the key.

Ga In shook her head as she rest her phone against the counter and let it on speaker. Then she continue packing her items until the door swung open and her partner was visible. Soo Hyun looked at her in surprise, "W-what are you doing?" He asked, completely brainwashed about going to Busan. 

Before she could answer Hyungsik was back on the phone, "Aha! I found it." He cheered alone and the small object caught Soo Hyun's attention. 

"Hyungsik?" He mouthed to Ga In who nodded before getting back to the other man. 

"Hey Ga In, are you still there?" Hyungsik asked afraid she might have hung up on him. "Han Ga In?"

"Hyungsik, have my room ready for me. I'll arrive in Busan in the next five hours." She said earning a gasp from him. 

"T-tonight? Really?!"

"Yeah so make sure my room is clean for me. And I may be bringing someone too so prepare a room for him too." 

"Him? Who?" The latter questioned. 

"You remember Kim Soo Hyun right?" She asked. 

"Kim.... Kim Soo Hyun? Oh! Was he that kid back in high school with a short face?" 

Soo Hyun blinked a few times quickly while Ga In tried not to laugh. "Yeah him." She confirmed and Hyungsik's reactions continued to mentally offend Soo Hyun. 

"He's still following you? But why is he coming here too?"

"Still following me?" Ga In asked dumbfounded and looked up at Soo Hyun who avoided her eyes. "What do you mean still following me? He's my new partner." Ga In filled Hyungsik in and the latter wasn't surprised.

"Alright, I'll clean out your room for you. But you know I only have two rooms, he won't mind sleeping outside would he?"

"He-" Before Ga In could finish Soo Hyun couldn't hold it in any longer. 

"I'm an indoor person!" Soo Hyun shouted and then calm himself when Ga In's gaze was on him again. 

"Who was that?" Hyungsik asked and Ga In chuckled a little.

"The short face from high school, anyway Hyungsik. Let's hang up I have to pack." She said and soon the man hung up and Ga In's call ended automatically. "Where were you until now?" She asked him but another call interrupted her.

Assuming it was Hyungsik again Soo Hyun took fast and long strides over and grabbed Ga In's phone before she could. "Short face? Why would you call me short-" Soo Hyun suddenly stopped when he noticed the voice on the other hand belonged to another voice. He cleared his throat, "Yes, this is Han Ga In's phone."
