“She said she like me, but I think she loves her boyfriend too. She must be having a hard time because of me, right sehun?”- Luhan

Author’s POV

Today is the grand opening for the new company branch. The CEO himself attends the grand opening and officially launch their new boutique in the Cheongdam-dong area. Now the happiest people among all is luhan, kris, and the rookie designers who are now approved as professional designers. So many fashion reporters and journalists came to grand opening event to support them. And as usual, jiyeon gains a lot of attention with her great fashion sense. She is wearing a high cut skirts and a sleeveless blouse which exposed her slim body, paired with black high heels. She even tie her hair in ponytail, making her looks neatly done for the whole body. But what makes even her colleagues surprised is jiyeon puts on a bright red lipstick for today, making her looks ier and more mature.

“I don’t know if someone has told you this jiyeon, but you look freaking hot today with that high cut skirts and that make-up… is just perfect! Why you never wear red lipstick before? You look prettier and mature like this.” Tao complimented with all his feelings.

“Do I really look mature with red lipstick? Who told me red lipstick can make us look mature? I can’t remember, but anyway thanks to whoever mention about this to me.” Jiyeon said excitedly.

“It’s because everything you wear will look good on you. I envy you.” Tao said.

“Stop it tao. You make me embarrass. Let’s go let’s go. Luhan and kris might be looking for us if we keep wandering around here.” Jiyeon said while dragging tao with her.

That night, everyone is gathering inside the management department after the grand opening ends. Baekhyun also joins them, refuse to go back first and decide to stay and celebrate with his other friends. This time kris bought some drinks for them so they can simply celebrate their new great achievement together. They are talking and laughing happily, like life is perfect. While everyone is busy having fun talking to each other, luhan slowly moves his seat closer to jiyeon and sit right next to jiyeon, pretends to watch his other friends celebrating.

“Jiyeon.”

“Yes oppa.”

“I have been keeping this for the whole day since we are all busy at the grand opening before right, so now I have to tell you that you look really pretty like this. I mean your whole self is pretty. Not that you’re not pretty before, but right now, this style really makes my heart flutters even more. Especially that red lipstick, I think my legs are shaking to see you smiling with that freaking hot red lips.”

“Are you confessing again oppa? Don’t you think you’re too brave?”

“I learn that from a friend. He told me a story about how bold he was when he confessed to the girl he likes, and listen to how the girl finally becomes his girlfriend, it really inspired me to do the same.”

“What do you mean oppa?”

“Just tell me… am I experiencing a one-sided love right now?”

“Maybe. I have a boyfriend.”

“I know. But I guess… it’s not good if I hide my feeling, right?”

“But oppa… I like you. Honestly, I tried changing my style today so I can look mature. I know I can’t be demure and polite, but it is possible to be mature. I myself don’t know why do I even change my style to your ideal type, maybe  because I find it weird you said you like me when I’m not even mature, demure and polite. Do you understand me? Because I feel like my words seem to be a mess.”

“No no I understand everything you tried to deliver. And it is cute though. I’m glad you tried to be mature and all, honestly I like it. Because you look prettier like this. It’s great if you can keep your style like this.”

“So I have to go shopping and find more mature clothing. Haha.”

“It’s okay, I can accompany you to go shopping!”

“Okay oppa! Promise me!”

“Alright!”

Jiyeon and luhan are giggling and having a talk happily at the side while the others are at another side. Luhan’s and jiyeon’s laughs attract their other friends’ attention to look at them. Seeing how close they are, baekhyun suddenly talks.

“Don’t you think they look great together?” Baekhyun said to the others.

“Yeah. Luhan seems happy every time with her though.” Kris then said.

“The thing is jiyeon already has a boyfriend. Too bad for luhan hyung.” Tao then replied.

“It’s okay, me and suzy are available. Hahaha.” IU playfully said and laugh with suzy.

“But jiyeon suits luhan, while you guys not.” Chanyeol said with a jealous tone.

“Just let them be guys. We’ll see if jiyeon and luhan really meant to each other or not.” Kris said while staring at jiyeon and luhan meaningfully.

Jiyeon reached her apartment that night after coming back from the celebration at their new building. She looks a bit tired but smiles still can be seen on her face. There’s something that makes her happy until she can’t stop smiling every time she remembers it. Jiyeon then quickly brushes away the thoughts while riding the elevator to her level. After reaching the level, jiyeon makes her way right to her apartment to get some rest. But right when she arrives in front of her apartment, she can see a guy is standing in front of her apartment, laying his back against the wall, looks like waiting for someone.

“Sehun?”

“Oh jiyeon you’re… back.”
