"Yeomseyo?" Seunggi answered the phone.

"Seunggi hyung, I have something to ask you please answer truthfully." Jaejoong said solemnly.

Seunggi gulped. *Has he found out?*

"Has Eunmi been working full time at your restaurant these few days?" Jaejoong asked.

Seunggi slapped his forehead. *He has found out.*

"Err.. I'm really sorry Jaejoong ah but Eunmi didn't want me to say." Seunggi tried saying.

"So it's true? She has been working there?" Jaejoong asked aghast.

"Yeah." Seunggi nodded even thought Jaejoong couldn't see him.

"Why didn't you just give her her pay in advance or tell me?" Jaejoong roared.

"You know Eunmi.. She's so stubborn." Seunggi gulped.

Jaejoong nodded. "Whatever. But hyung I'm gonna get you someday for helping Eunmi to cover this truth!"

Although Seunggi was the hyung, he felt extremely horrified.

"Then what can I do?"he asked.

"Let Eunmi off early today." Jaejoong demanded, looking at the couple laptops.

"Then close your shop early today." Jaejoong snapped.

Eunmi went into the apartment tiredly as she hadn't had proper rest for the past few days.

She was surprised to find Jaejoong waiting expectantly for her in the living room.

"You're finally home!" Jaejoong cheered and ran forward to hug her.

"Yah! I'm sticky and dirty!" Eunmi wriggled away.

Jaejoong let go and gestured for her to sit down. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Eunmi gulped when she saw Jaejoong's solemn face. *Damn it Eunmi! You're a gangster! Don't be scared of him!*

"Tell you what?" Eunmi asked boldly.

"You needed a mini laptop in school." Jaejoong said softly.

Eunmi looked down like a student being reprimanded. Jaejoong used his finger to lift her chin.

"Hey. We are roommates. Roommates are supposed to tell each other things. You could have told me you know? Instead of missing school and slogging off at Seunggi's restaurant to earn money." Jaejoong stared deep into her eyes.

"It wasn't your business to know." Eunmi looked away uncomfortably.

Jaejoong felt hurt. *So until now she still thinks of me as a spoilt brat and now some friend to tell her troubles to?*

"But I want to know!" Jaejoong roared. "You're living with me! Do you think I'll feel good if my roommate is suffering? And she doesn't even share her troubles with me!"

"I don't want to burden you. I know you don't have money now as well." Eunmi said softly.

Jaejoong softened. "Troubles are meant to be shared Eunmi ah."

"And who said I didn't have money?" Jaejoong protested, thinking of the watch he just sold.

"But didn't your father take your credit card away?" Eunmi asked.

"I have money alright?" Jaejoong assured and went to get the couple laptops.

"Here. This is for you." Jaejoong set the pink laptop in front of her.

Eunmi's eyes widened. "I can't..."

"Don't misunderstand!" Jaejoong yelped. "It was on offer! Buy one get one free! I bought this blue one and they gave this pink one okay? So its free! Just take it!"

Eunmi smiled. *Kim Jaejoong do you think I'm so stupid to believe that? But thanks anyway. I'll just accept your lies.*

"Okay then. Thanks." Eunmi smiled.

Jaejoong felt his heart warm and a tingly feeling spread throughout his entire body.

"Thanks to the department store for having such a offer!" Eunmi finished lamely.

Jaejoong's eyes widened.

"Yah that girl.." he muttered. "YAH PARK EUNMI!" he hollered and chased after her.
