Hardworking Gangster Girl
My Gangster RoommateJaejoong trudged home tiredly after having some drinks at the nearby pub with the rest of senior kingkas DBSK.
He had bargained with Changmin for the tutoring sessions, in return, he had to provide for Changmin's lunch and dinner for the following month. And that stupid maknae had already written the whole list of schedule of dishes he wanted to have.
"Who the hell finishes 24 dumplings, a bowl of seafood ramen, and tofu hot plate in a single lunch?!" He asked himself, looking at Changmin's list for the next day's lunch.
"Man. I'm gonna be so tired from cooking for that bottomless pit and receiving tution from the bottomless pit!" he sighed and walked into his apartment.
He was surprised to see that the lights weren't on yet.
"Eunmi isn't home yet?" he asked himself.
He checked all around the house, and there was no sign of her.
"Don't tell me!" he froze. "She decided to leave! OMG this is the best day of my life! YES YES YES!"
He danced around and cheered.
Just then, the apartment door opened and in came a tired-looking Eunmi.
Eunmi saw Jaejoong who had frozen halfway of his victory dance, with his hands high, and looked at him weirdly.
"You came back." Jaejoong said stupidly.
"Of course I came back." Eunmi scoffed. "I haven't even earned enough yet. And your bracelet's still with me."
Jaejoong sighed. *Guess it was too good to be true.*
"Why are you back so late?" he asked, glancing at the clock. "Its already 3am! Seunggi's restaurant closes at 1am!"
"I volunteered to stay back and close the shop." Eunmi yawned. "And I didn't want to waste money so I walked back here."
"YOU WHAT?" Jaejoong shrieked. "The restaurant to her is at least 30km! A freaking 30km and you walked back here?"
Eunmi didn't respond and sat limply on the chair.
"Yah!" Jaejoong nudged her.
Her eyes were closed and her breathing was slow and gentle.
*She's asleep. God who'd have thought she'd look so innocent and cute like an angel when she's sleeping?
She must've tired herself out. No matter how strong she is, she is still a human and a girl...*
Jaejoong carried her bridal style and placed her gently on the bed. "My mattress is so going to stink after she leaves." he muttered.
He placed a 10,000 won bill on the table and wrote a note beside it.
Your bus fare.
Just take the bus, it doesn't cost much.
Don't let me catch you walk home again!
When that's done, he walked back to the couch and fell in deep sleep.
Eunmi woke up early, since she never had the habit to sleep late.
*Why am I back in the bedroom? I don't remember making it here..*
She walked out to the dining room and found the 10000 won and the note. She smiled slightly.
"That bastard's quite considerate." she smiled.
She got ready for work and took a bus there.
Jaejoong woke up at the sound of the 6th snooze of his alarm.
"CRAP I'M SO LATE!" He screamed and dashed up from the couch.
He wore his uniform in less than 30 seconds and grabbed a piece of bread and stuffed it in his mouth.
He saw a note on the dining table, scribbled in messy handwriting, like it was written by someone who hasn't practiced writing much before.
Thanks Witchcraft Pretty Boy
Jaejoong smiled at the short message and felt so much happier.
He glanced at the time.
"Oh !" he cursed and bounded out of the door. "I'm still late!"
