She runs her thumb over the screen, ‘waiting’ is the only thing that Yunho keep doing until now. With their wedding tomorrow, she really hope, she can repay him in the future by staying by his side and patiently loving him day by day, till her last breath. 

The knock on the door startled her, her eyes immediately landed on the person who peek behind the door. 

“Lunch?”

“i’m sorry. Yunho just texted me, he wants to meet me.” Placing her glasses on the desk, she fixed her hair before grabs her iPhone on the desk and her handbag. 

“i thought you both are not supposed to meet.” YeEun helps holding her stuffs when she bends down to tied her shoelace. 

Finish, Hyeran stands up and put her finger on , “That's a secret.” She then winked.

YeEun glanced at the line in front of her. for the sake to keep under budget this month, YeEun decided to have her own budget lunch at the hospital cafeteria. 

 Placing a few side dishes on the plate, she then arrived at the counter. “ahjusshi, please give me a very cheap price, i don’t want to go over budget this month.” she sheepishly said while taking out her small cute fur coins wallet, suddenly a cup of coffee is placed beside her plate. 

“What the?” she turned around. 

gasped, the coin purse accidentally dropped. 

“What are you doing here?” she bends down to pick up her thing but the person beat her to it. 

“just, want to make you goes over budget.” 

and at that moment, she decided that if she can see Kris smiling handsomely to her, she doesn’t mind if she goes over budget every month. 

“Yunho?”

on the first step she took once she reached the cafe, the unusual soft song is playing as the background music. the cafe she noticed is surprisingly empty because judging by the time, high school student will fill up the place. 

“here”. fixing her collar, she then walked to source of the voice. she then saw Yunho is sitting on the couch, their usual place when they come over to hang and enjoy the coffee. “what are you doing?” 

he pats the empty space beside her, “come here”

Yunho smiled when the scent of her filled up his nostrils when she take a seat beside him. “i miss you”, it’s already two weeks since they last see each other. “i miss you too.”

“why do you want to meet me?”

before Yunho can reply, the white wall in front of the couch suddenly show an image, the baby version of Yunho and her, “how did you get this?” 

“just shut up and watch Park Hyeran.” she glared towards him before fixing her eyes to the screen. 

the image next show both of them in their adolescent years and keep on moving forward until the day when Hyeran first day at the school, sitting among one thousand students while Yunho as the head student giving out a speech. 

and the image turns to video. 

in the video, Yunho is talking on the stage, stressing on how each of the student should maintain their reputation as their school has a very strict enrolment. at that time, every new students is listening dearly as they really admired him. except one, and the camera suddenly zoom in to this one particular student. 

“Oh my god.” she covers . 

“i didn’t know you were such a brat since day one of high school.” he playfully slapped her shoulder. Hyeran slapped him back, “i did not.” he make an are-you-serious look and Hyeran winced, “maybe a little”

then, the video show young Hyeran, sleeping with open and her head keep moving back to front. 

suddenly, she realised that the video is showing their life and after this high school part, that will be the painful part, which have affected 20 years of her life. “Yunho, i don-”

“don’t worry, i skipped that part.” holding on her hand, they continue to watch the video. few seconds after that, suddenly Yunho stands up, motioning he is going to the loo. she nodded and focus on watching the video. 

the scene suddenly went blank. Hyeran looked around and saw the projector still shooting out light.  when she turned back, she saw Yunho in sitting in front of her, virtually. 

the Yunho in the video clears his throat before awkwardly waved at the camera. “Hey Hyeran.” she then blurted a giggle, too funny seeing Yunho is this condition. “Hopefully i’m not there right beside you when you are watching this.”

“Don’t worry, you are not.” 

“okay, let’s get serious shall we, beside you still need to get back to the hospital,” she nodded, remembering her appointment with her patient later at 3pm. “well, first of all, tomorrow is our wedding day!” he laughed. “if you ask me, i will honestly answered that i’m not expecting this at all.” 

Yunho bend down a little bit before picking up their only picture during their school years. “you still remember this?” Hyeran nodded, “of course.” “this is the only picture that we have and i also remember, at that time, the only thing that i want is to see you smile happily towards me.”

“after that, we are getting closer with Changmin’s help. my innocent intention suddenly turns bigger. i want you to look only at me.” suddenly he frowned, Hyeran knew why. it’s because at that time, her parent was murdered and since that day, their lives changed. “at first, every single day i was putting all the blame on you. blaming you on missing our date that night and also for blaming you on playing with my feelings.” 

With the sudden mentioned about her past, Hyeran couldn’t help but to have teary eyes. the incident still leave a deep impression on her and she doubt it will gone soon. The incident already carved its place into her heart. “looking back at that time, i shamelessly put the blame on you while it’s have been me who is wrong at the first place.” 

“During that night, instead of waiting for you, i should have been asking around where is your house, find out what happen for you to missed our date.” Hyeran can clearly see Yunho is having a pair of teary eyes too. “also, i should have remember you every seconds when we are apart so that once we met, i will recognise you immediately. geundae, igomoya? (but what is this?)” he laughed sadly.

“it has been me all the time who has done all wrong to you Park Hyeran. why you still in love with this fool?” suddenly, the Yunho inside the video stands up and walk near to the camera, “i can’t do this.”

Park Hyeran eyes widened, “what do you mean you can’t do this?” standing up, she turned around, immediately greeted by Yunho, who is kneeling down in front of her, holding on a red velvet box. 

“Yunho!” she sighed in relief. 

he smirked, “if you think that i will let you go then you are wrong, i’m not going anywhere anymore, so do you.” his lips then jutted out, “Park Hyeran, will you willing to push aside my foolishness and married this fool?” 

a happy tear slide down on her cheek, and fell on Yunho back of the hand. “Yah, stop crying i-”

Hyeran bend down and threw her arms around his neck tightly and since she’s kinda put force in her hugging, they end up falling on the floor, with Hyeran on top. “even if you are a fool or handicapped man, i will always, always love you.” she leaned down, aiming for his lips. Yunho shut his eyes in blissfulness waiting for the mind-blowing kiss, but then the kiss didn’t come. 

he opened his eyes, looking confused as ever. 

“Let’s wait for tomorrow shall we?” 

“Yah, Park Hyeran!”

Park Hyeran POV

my alarm goes out exactly at 6 am in the morning. it’s my wedding day today, i whispered to myself while tying my hair. the wedding is set at 5:30pm sharp, so i think i can steal some time to have a good run at the Han River. 

6:30 am, i arrived at Han River, although it’s still early but people already filled up this place. i rarely come here since it’s quite far from my house but today i’m making an exception. 

Although i have known him for many years, but still the nervous feeling lingered in my body. living together is not easy no matter how much you love that person. there will be ups and downs, hopefully we can overcome the matter in the future. 

i already jogged for two rounds already when i decided to have a slow walk before going back home. Breakfast at home served at 7:45 am, so by the latest i should be at home is at 8. 

“Eloise!” 

i turned around, smiling brightly when i’m seeing Kris jogs slightly to me. “i thought i saw you.” He grinned. He looked so good in his neon yellow parka and black sweat pants. He took off his earphone before looking at me upside down. 

“What?”

“it’s true what they said.” 

“What?”

“When someone is getting married, they have this kind of glow on their face.” he puts his hand on my head, “you look so happy now Eloise, compared when you are in New York.” 

i smiled, indeed i feel so happy right now. 

“i see you at the wedding?”

he nodded. “sure.”

when i reached home, ShinHye and my mom looked at me angrily. “Where have you been?” ShinHye asked me while dragging me to my room. “a jog?” it was more like a question than an answer. “it’s your wedding day, how can you jog?” 

“i thought the wedding it’s at the evening.”

“then you don’t need to do any preparation at all? what about make up and the dress?”

“Euuww!”

she glared at me before grabbing my towel and literally throws me in the bathroom. “wash yourself! i want to see a pristine Park Hyeran in 20 minutes.”

since i wake up until now, sitting in front of the big mirror in ShinHye boutique, i still haven’t got any chance to hold my phone instead ShinHye has been dragging me to here and there like a master and her dog taking an evening walk. Here we are doing the final touches on my wedding dress before going to Shilla Hotel, for my event. 

“Why are you so anxious about this?” i couldn’t help but to feel worried over her. with her bulging stomach walking here and there. “Just sit down okay.” i stand up, slowly pulling her and make her sit at the chair where i sat just now. 

“i want you to have a perfect wedding.” she said breathlessly. “i am having one now. don’t worry.” grabbing a bottle of plain water, i handed it to her. “Mine is not that beautiful so i don’t want you to regret it later.” 

“that is not your job. just relax unnie, i don’t want you to faint of something. if you do, only then i will have a bad wedding day.”

then, she pointed at the wedding dress. “Like it?”

i turned my head and scanned the wedding dress that perfectly hang right in front of me. every single detail of the dress just make it unique and breathtakingly beautiful. i’m not a dress person, so she managed to make it simple yet elegant, suit for the occasion. 

i put my hand on hers, “i will cherish it unnie.”

the clock shows 2:30pm already, making ShinHye unnie yelled at me just now for spending too much time in her boutique since we need to go to Shilla and have my make up there. i drive her car to the hotel where ChangMin promised to meet us there. 

this whole make up and hair dressing is so foreign to me. for the first time, there are other people who will touched up my face to make me look like a doll like ShinHye said. i thought they will just put on a simple make up on my face and then make my hair a little bit curl at the end just to have that wavy effect. however i was dead wrong! i have been sitting on this chair since 2:45pm and now is already 3:45pm, one freaking hour for a simple make up? 

“unnie…” 

she hummed me while looking at the dress again. she paid a full attention on the dress herself because i will be wearing her first wedding dress which she will released it if it’s on high demand. 

“i got cramped.”

the lady who put on my make up blurted a laugh. i grinned to her. “just sit there quietly,” she look at me, “please thicken her eyeliner, thank you.” 

i rolled my eyes, glancing at my wrist watch, the butterflies feeling starts to kicks in.
