“Done?”

HyeRan nodded while reaching for her sling bag on the floor. ChangMin stands up and walks to the counter, HyeRan followed behind.

Once they are inside ChangMin car, HyeRan turns to him. “Where are we going next?”

He looked at her once he finished pulled the seatbelt. “To meet my wife.” He saw her face is expressionless. “Don’t you want to see her?”

Deep inside her, she knew this topic will come from him eventually, it just a matter of time. Of course she misses her; she is her best friend after all. However, meeting ShinHye means she is going to meet her ‘ex-parent’ too. Her heart, body and mind are still not strong enough and still not ready to meet them.

ChangMin seems to know what is going around inside her head. He then flicked her forehead.

“oww!”

“Don’t worry, although they are my parent in law but I wouldn’t risk your safety just like last time.”

She nodded her head, last time incident still leave a big scar in her heart.

ChangMin stops his car by the roadside near his wife boutique. When HyeRan looked at the boutique, she can clearly see her best friend from inside the car. “Unnie has become prettier.”

“Well she did married to me right?”

HyeRan laughed.

“Is that you? Is that really you?”

ShinHye pulls HyeRan in her deep embrace. HyeRan immediately sobs on her shoulder. “Yah! Pabo yah! How can you just leave us like that? Am I not your best friend or what?!!” she lightly hits HyeRan for a few times. “You should have meet me and tell me everything! I swear HyeRan, you really need to get rid that ‘secretive attitude’ of yours.”

HyeRan didn’t answer. She just produces sobbing sounds while wiping her tears. The two men behind just standing there, glad seeing the two best friends finally reunited after 5 years apart.

The men sit a lil bit far from both of the ladies. ShinHye and HyeRan is sitting on the bar stool in the pantry while the men is sitting on the couch where YunHo sit earlier. HyeRan keep on glancing at that one particular man across the room. She feels a quite disappointed since ShinHye didn’t give them both any chance at all, she just kidnap her since the moment she stepped inside the boutique.

ChangMin who sits in front of him is really restraining himself to laugh out loud. He just couldn’t take it when he saw how uneasy YunHo is.

“Yah!” he smacked YunHo arm.

“What?!”

“If you want to talk to her, just go.”

“I don’t think I have anything to say to her.” YunHo turns to her and their eyes meet. He quickly turned away.

Why is he looking away? She feels a pat on her hand, “go talk to him.” HyeRan sighed, “I don’t know unnie….”

ChangMin saw how YunHo avoids HyeRan gazes. “Are you afraid?” His best friend didn’t answer. “Why?” he then saw YunHo shrugged his both shoulders. “It’s been 5 years.”

“Oppa.”

ShinHye walks to her husband; she sits beside him and linked their arms. “Don’t you think someone also miss my best friend?” YunHo clears his throat when he heard that. He looks in front of him; these two really got him this time. He glances at HyeRan who is sitting on the barstool while staring blankly on the white wall.

He stands up, take a deep breath and makes his way to her.

“HyeRan..”

Startled, she quickly turns to her left. “Y-Yes?”

“Want to take a walk with me?”

Behind them, the married couple is crossing their fingers so that HyeRan will accept YunHo invitation.

“Appa.. I’m bored.” YeRin complained. She is jumping on the bed while JaeJoong is surfing the internet. “Really? I’m bored too.” He smiled. “Yes! Appa, let’s go somewhere. Let’s go buy ice cream! Let’s drink bubble tea.” He stands up and joins his daughter, only he is jumping on the carpeted floor while that cute little girl still jumping on the bed.

“Waah!! So many things you want to do!”

YeRin laughed when she saw her dad jumped.

DING DONG

“Someone’s here!” YeRin jumped on the floor and quickly opens the door. When she opened the door, she saw a lady that she didn’t recognize. Cautiously, she took a step back.

“YeRin, who is it?”

“Emmm.. I don’t know..” she then closed back the door and runs to her dad. JaeJoong picked her up and bring her to the door back. He opens the door and reveals JiHye.

“Hello.” JiHye smiles.

“Hi.” JaeJoong turns to YeRin, “This is JiHye, she is Auntie Ri In’s best friend.” YeRin nodded and beamed. “Hello. I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you.”

“Never mind. I rarely see you that’s why you didn’t know me.” She then bends down to her level when JaeJoong out YeRin down. “YeRin, can I ask you a favor?”

The little girl nodded. JaeJoong is amused how YeRin is responding to JiHye questions nicely because in the past, she will hid herself behind him and he has to do all the talking.

“I’m bored. Can I ask you to accompany me to eat ice cream and drink bubble tea? I heard from Ri In you like that. I never tried bubble tea before so do you want to spend some time with me?”

At the mention of ‘ice cream’ and ‘bubble tea’ YeRin toothy smile quickly lit up! She clapped her hand and turns to her dad. JiHye too. “Can I take her?” JaeJoong looked at both of them.

“No.”

Immediately both female shoulders deflated.

“JaeJoong, I can assure you tha-”

“No if I didn’t join you girls.”

“Yayyy!!!” stunned, JiHye quickly high fived with YeRin.

“Yes!”

ChangMin and ShinHye high fived each other when they saw HyeRan nodded her head a bit. Embarrassingly, they both walked out from the boutique.

“Spend all the time that you want. Good bye! Good bye!!” ShinHye waved her hand excitedly like a mom sending her only son to go on his first date. She is going to follow them if ChangMin didn’t pull her back at the right time.     

Walking side by side, HyeRan is feeling all nervous inside. Their hands that keep on bumping each other also make her feels all giddy. However, they already walk for almost 5 minutes but YunHo still didn’t said anything. Feeling that she should be the one to start the conversation, she turns to him.

“Emm..” YunHo look at her. “How have you been?”

Thruthfully, YunHo have waited this moment where HyeRan is standing in front of him a very long time ago. He keeps wondering, how should he act in front of her, what should they talked about and he wonder if they will get along just like old days. However, when HyeRan is here, right in front of his eyes, he didn’t feel anything. But when HyeRan asked him just now, he couldn’t help but feels quite irritate by her.

“Well, besides from having constant heartache and thinking about someone, I’m okay.” YunHo smiled, well more like forced smile. And she couldn’t help but noticed that.

“I’m sorry.” They stopped at the magical fountain there. “I’m sorry.” She repeated. YunHo waves his hand, “it’s okay. I understand why you did that.” she sighed in relieved. “Is your company is in good condition now?”

YunHo frowned, “You knew about that?”

HyeRan nodded. “I saw it on the newspaper.” She saw YunHo crossed his leg. “But still you didn’t come back?”

“Wha-”

“I was heartbroken when you leaved me and to make things worse, my company suddenly has trouble and yet you still didn’t come back just to accompany me through the hard times?”

He is not the YunHo that I used to know anymore. The YunHo in front of me is a cold person. No HyeRan, think positively. Maybe he is tired. She tries to curve a smile on her face. “I thought you already married to ShinHye unnie.”

YunHo suddenly laughing, more like mocking her actually. “If I do get married to her, you did know who the person that I really love is, don’t you?” he turns to her, “How dare you HyeRan, leaving me here without thinking what will my condition is.”

She stares straightly inside his pair of eyes. “I’m sorry.”

He faces in front and smirked. “Sorry?” scoffed, “if sorry this one word can mend broken heart, I bet you will broke hundreds of heart.”

Hearing those words coming out from YunHo mouth really broke her heart in billion pieces. Of all the people around her, why YunHo is the one seems doesn’t really like her homecoming?

“I thought you miss me.” She said above whispers.

“Oh yes HyeRan! I do miss you.” YunHo stands up and face her. “I do miss you every single heartbeat and every single seconds. But what’ve you done are totally unacceptable.” He sighed. “You didn’t think how that affect me and now you are back and asked me how was I all this time. Don’t you think that is a selfish act?”

HyeRan feels her eyes already starts to form the tears, she quickly wipes it away since she doesn’t want YunHo to see it.

“You don’t understand. I need to get away from all the craziness at that time.” She said.

“I don’t understand? Park HyeRan, I actually beg you that night, begging you to not leave me. I need you to stay with me and we will work the problem together.”

“I don’t know what to say. I just- …” she stands up, “I’m sorry. ” she look at him. He hates me. He is not the same YunHo anymore. Serves you right Park HyeRan. “You clearly didn’t want me to be here. Let’s meet when you finally can forgive me.” She bows to him, “goodbye seonbae.”

Turning her heels, HyeRan starts to walk away and once her back is facing YunHo, her tears start to fall. She can takes it when JaeJoong and Kris and even Ri In warned her for not going back to YunHo but when she heard it straightly from YunHo mouth all the things he said just now, she couldn’t help but feels so heartbroken. YunHo seems like already move on with his life.

Her sobbing sound start to fill the quiet road, few people walked passed her shocked to see a lady crying while walking. She just wants to get back to her hotel room and cries her heart out.

Just when she walked ten steps away, a pair of arm wrapped her waist from behind. She gasped. “Let go of-”

“It’s me.”

She cries, “What are you doing? Don’t you hate me?” She really misses his touch; she misses his voice, his eyes, and his mole, his everything. With YunHo suddenly back hugging her, she couldn’t help but cries even more.  

“I miss you too Park HyeRan. Seeing you at the park on that day, I was this close to hold your hand. But I couldn’t when I saw that little girl which I thought she is your daughter. And today when I saw you at ShinHye’s boutique, I realized I miss you like crazy. Don’t leave me anymore Park HyeRan. These 5 years without you are like hell for me. Don’ leaves me anymore.”

That’s when HyeRan feels his tears falls on her shoulder.

“Don’t leave me…” he said above whispers.

They both cry because they realized they need each other presence more than anyone else. HyeRan without her YunHo is like the puzzle that missing its last piece. She slowly yanked YunHo arms and turn to him.

Smiling in tears, she use her both thumb to wipes his tears away. “Don’t cry seonbae, you look so ugly.” He breathes out few laughter. “Bogoshipoyo.” HyeRan nodded, “na doo.” They both soon fall into each other deep embrace.

A little bit far from there, a person has been a very loyal viewer of HyeRan and YunHo little scene just now. he is going to ShinHye boutique for his fitting session when suddenly he saw both of them walk out from the boutique. Curiously, he followed the couple.

“You have made a good choice Eloise.” He turns away; does that mean I will be alone again?

Author’s note: I think this chapter is so !!! Personally, I don’t like it because I want to make you guys cries during the reunion part but I don’t what have gotten into me and *sighed*
