Few days after that, almost all the preparation for their wedding is 50% done.  Mrs. Jung and Mrs. Park once again teamed up to prepare the ceremony and this time, they are actually sincerely happy doing the task. Due to HyeRan request to do a simple and small wedding ceremony, the older women couldn’t help but to obey although they still managed to slip some of the expensive stuffs into the list. Not to mention, ShinHye who also in charged on designing Hyeran’s wedding dress feels so happy despite her due date are coming soon.

Yunho and Hyeran have been banned by their respective parent to not meeting each other before the ceremony unlike other couple. Thus, Yunho is busying himself with his work while Hyeran is trying her best to attend the preparation despite her busy schedule at the hospital.

Crossing on a date on her calendar, the door to her office, opened. “hey.” She smiled. “Not going for a lunch?”

She shook her head. “I’m waiting for someone.”

YeEun nodded her head. “I thought I want to ask you for a lunch.” Hyeran put her phone and her wallet inside her medium sized clutch, a present from Yunho since he always wants to see her look elegance. “You can join me if you want.”

She beamed, “really? I’m not disturbing?”

“Don’t worry, I will not ask you to join me if Im going out with Yunho.” YeEun make a face and Hyeran laughed. 

In the middle of their laughing session, the door suddenly opened, “Eloise?”

She looked up, “hey, you are here. You should have called me then I can wait for you at the lobby.” Kris is wearing simple dark blue jeans with Vans sneakers and a white polo shirt; he also wears his snapback, making him look a lot younger than his age.

YeEun turned and stunned when she saw him.

“Oh yeah, I asked YeEun to join us, is that okay with you?”

YeEun didn’t understand at all what the heck Hyeran saying is but she does hear her name mentioned by her.

Kris turned to her, as if he just realized there is someone else in the room. He smiled, ”sure.”

“What are you doing?”

She didn’t turn when she heard Changmin voice.

“Making final touch on Hyeran dress.”

Changmin stared at his wife stomach. He couldn’t help but to feel amazed, for her to carry a person inside her stomach. Slowly, he stands up and walks behind his wife that keep fixing something on  Hyeran wedding dress.

Wrapping his arms around her and caressing her stomach.

“I wonder whether we should have another child after this.” Shinhye smiled when she heard that. “why? Couldn’t wait this champ coming out?”

“no, because of this.” His fingers trails on the fabric around her stomach area, the place where he witnessed the stretch marks are. “And because of this,” this time, Changmin let his hand runs ShinHye back side, the place where she always asked Changmin to massaged her. “not to mention your swollen legs.”

She feels touched when she knew her husband noticed the changes on her body due to the pregnancy. “it’s because I carry your child, then I can endure it.” Turning around, she placed her hand on his cheek. “I enjoyed being pregnant oppa, don’t worry, all these things will disappeared when our champ comes into this world.”

The husband nodded his head, unable to reply her words as he wrapped his arms around her body.

Appa and umma loves you, our champ.

Once she finished her shift, Hyeran quickly drive to ShinHye boutique, knowing her wedding dress is done; she cursed herself for having two bowls of rice during her lunch with Kris and YeEun.

“Shinhye. Sorry I’m late.”

The mother-to-be turned around and smiled. Placing down the magazine, she walks to her. “Busy today?”

HyeRan shook her head. “How are you feeling today?”, placing her hand on Shinhye stomach. “Good. Our champ is a good boy today. Knowing his or her auntie is coming.” She smiled happily.

The sudden door bell ring making them switches their attention to the person who just came in. Hyeran smiled when she saw it was Changmin.

“Hi.”

“oh, you are here. Tried the wedding dress yet?”

She shook her head. “I just got here.” Shinhye handed her the dress, “here, the fitting room is at the back.”

She grabs it and walk silently to the fitting room. Changmin chuckled upon seeing her. “What?” she wrapped her hand around Changmin waist.

“Nothing, it feels like I’m watching my daughter getting married.” He kissed Shinhye head. “Now I hate Yunho already for taking my daughter away.”

After his last meeting of the day finished, Yunho steps inside his office when his secretary hand him, his phone. He glanced up, “why are you looking like that?” his secretary actually trying to suppressed his laughter.

“I think you better look at the picture sir.”

“Picture?”

Yunho unlocked his phone and immediately his eyes went wide. “damn changmin!” his secretary bowed and left his room.

Yunho quickly dialed Changmin’s number.

“yah!”

Changmin laughed evilly once he heard Yunho voices. In front of him, ShinHye is fixing the dress on HyeRan body.

“You know that I can’t meet her nor contact her and you purposely send me that picture.”

He chuckled again; ShinHye turns around and saw her husband is laughing cheekily. Hyeran smiled when she saw him.

“He always laughed like that when he annoys Yunho.”

The wife nodded. “I bet you he is.” Then the said man turns to them, putting his index finger on his lips. He put his phone on the speaker mode and all three of them hear the other old man fussing about how he can’t see his future wife and with Changmin send him a sneak peek of her wedding dress that just make him crazy.

Hyeran blushed.

After finished with her wedding dress session, Hyeran drive back to the Park residence. She has agreed on staying at the house until her wedding day. The Park of course welcomed her.

Since she got home quite late, she doesn’t want to switch on the lights. All the arrangement in the house is still the same with before she left the house. Thus, she doesn’t have any problems to locate where the shoe rack is, where the stairs are and some other stuffs.

But tonight, it’s not like her usual night because she heard a sobbing voice from the dark kitchen. She is frozen at the door and she can feel the goose bumps all over her body. Suddenly, the image where she peeked at the thief in her old house in GwangJu comes to her. She is afraid if today is still the same.

“Oh god, please don’t let the history repeat.”

Her heart screams no but her feet still leading her to the sound. Her heartbeat accelerate its speed and yet her feet still moves at the same pace. Sweats begin to form inside her grip. Slowly, she makes her way towards the kitchen.

The sobbing sounds surely become louder and clearer at the minute she reached the kitchen. Running her fingers to switch on the lights, her eyes widened when she saw her mother is sitting on the floor while four cans of beer is scattered around her. Mrs. Park is crying badly while her hand is holding Yoochun’s wedding picture which ShinHye had given her at the moment she told her mother about Yoochun.

“Umma..” that came out as a whisper. To shock to see her mother like that.

Flashback

“How should I tell umma, oppa?” ShinHye wipes away the tears that can’t stop from flowing down. Just when they had arrived Seoul, they both decided to pass the news about Yoochun and Yeonhee to her parent.

DING DONG

“Umma?” Changmin called when he opened the door but Mrs. Park is not there to welcome them. “Umma??” he called her again. Shinhye changes her heels to house slipper and straight away to enter their parent bedroom.

“I’m here.” Mrs. Park came out from the kitchen, wiping her hands on the apron that tied around her body. Clearly she is doing some baking just now. “Welcome back.” She smiled.

Upon seeing how her mom is smiling, Shinhye can feel the guilt is taking over her. She then felt Changmin warm hand on her shoulder, giving her the courage to tell her mother.

“Umma, let’s have a talk.” She smiled warmly and gently led her mother to the kitchen. Changmin leave the two alone while he stands outside the house. Not sure whether he will have the guts to see how his mother in-law cry later.

“What do you want to talk about?” Mrs. Park pour a cup of tea at Shinhye then at herself before placing back the small jug on the kitchen counter. Shinhye plays with her fingers nervously.

“It’s about oppa.” Mrs. Park points to the door, indicates whether she is talking about Changmin, she shook her head, “Yoochun oppa.”

Upon hearing her only son name, Mrs. Park smiles. “do you manage to ask him to come back?”

‘Yes, but not as living form’. She nodded her head while she felt her eyes are getting teary. “Thank you ShinHye ah. Now where is he? I want to see him.” After not seeing her son for a long time, she finally decided that she now should follow whatever her children want. Stops them and they will run away from her. Just like Hyeran. And now she is ready to sit down and listen to everything whatever her children rant was because she knows, she raised three smart kids, who know how to live their life to the fullest.

“Umma…” a drop of tears escaped her eye, rolled down on her flawless skin. Holding her mother hand, Mrs. Park suddenly feels a very bad vibe inside her. “What is it? Why are you suddenly like this?” she wants to take away her hand, because somehow she knows what happened.

“Umma..” she didn’t let go of her mother hand. “Yoochun oppa is-”

“STOP!” Mrs. Park covered her both ears. “Whatever you want to say, just stop. ” she stands up, ready to leave the kitchen when her daughter grabs her hand, “No umma, you need to listen to this.”

She covered her ears at the same time ShinHye shouts, “Yoochun oppa and his wife are dead!”

End of flashback

“Hyeran ah…” she managed to say between her sobs. “my son and my daughter in law are gone.” She wipes her tears. Hyeran couldn’t help but to have teary eyes too. “I know umma, he was with me when I was in New York.”

“And how dare that son of mine didn’t tell his umma that he has a wife.”

“You also have a grandson, umma.”

Next two days, Junsu and Ri In and little Minhwan safely arrived Seoul. Hyeran is the one who pick them up. For the first time in their friendship days, Ri In is not happy to see Hyeran. Junsu caught that.

“I will drop you at the hotel first before pick you up at six, dinner at my house tonight.” Junsu smiled while nods his head meanwhile she noticed how Ri In ignored her.

Once arrived at the hotel, without waiting for anything, Ri In gets out from the car bringing Minhwan along in her arms and then goes to the receptionist. Hyeran and Junsu sighed.

“What’s wrong with her?”

Junsu watched the bell boy takes out his and Ri In’s luggage, “she is afraid.”

Once the bell boy is finished, Hyeran closed back the trunk. “Afraid of?”

“She is afraid that your mother is going to take away Minhwan from us.”

Hyeran saw the expressions on Junsu face although he tried his best to not let it show on his face. They both actually don’t want to go back to Seoul but after JaeJoong and her persuaded them, they both reluctantly agreed.

Mrs. Park wants to see her grandchild, that’s why they are afraid if the biological grandparent wants to take away their only son. That’s why they don’t want to go back to Seoul and Ri In thinks HyeRan is a part of the plan to take away Minhwan from the SuYin couple.

“Please tell Ri In that umma may be his grandparent but both of you are still his parent. Yoochun oppa wouldn’t let both of you take care of his son if he didn’t believe in you. There must be a reason for this. So please, tell Ri In she wouldn’t need to worry over this matter. Whatever happens, I will make sure Minhwan will be under Kim Junsu and Kim Ri In. there will be no more Park Minhwan, but Alexander Minhwan Kim.”

Junsu breathed out when Hyeran finished mentioned Minhwan registered name under the Kim.

She pats Junsu shoulder first before enter her car. He looks at the car that is leaving him behind, “you are so kind Eloise. Thank you.” He whispers.

Morning comes as usual. Checking the date on her calendar, she beamed when she saw the love sign on tomorrow date. Grabbing her hair band on the bedside table, Hyeran tied her hair into a bun, standing up and walks to the big window in her room. Pushing the white curtains to the side to let the morning light showered her face.

While she is brushing her teeth, she hears a knock on the room’s door. “Yes?” she spit out the remaining in before cleans with a mouthful of water. “Come, let’s have breakfast together. your last breakfast as single lady.”

She then heard her mother laughed. She grinned before grabbing her spectacles on the desk.

“Yunho.”

He groaned.

“Yah yunho yah!!!” he received a smack on his and he quickly jolted awake. “wae umma!!!”

“get up! You need to have your last breakfast as bachelor before getting married tomorrow.”

Upon hearing the word married, Hyeran image come floating in his mind. He grinned like an idiots before his mother smacked him on the head.

“don’t think dirty in front of your mother!”

“haish umma! I did not!!”
