It’s been three months since me and Key are officially couple. He never changed, he is still the type of guy who really cares for others. His “motherly” love never fades. And by the way, I have already switched house. I am already renting my own house. My aunt and my mom had been fought because of money. To avoid bias, I decided to rent a house. Which key doesn’t like. He was so paranoid. He always thinks negative things. Des, Cathy and April sometimes visiting me in my house.

Cathy : aren’t you getting bored here?

Shin Ae : ani.. (I placed the tray with juice on the table.)

Des : it’s very snug here.

Shin Ae : aren’t you still aware? You are always coming here for almost three months. (I chuckled)

April : Shin Ae is right. I think she has a privacy here. Right Shin Ae?

Shin Ae : (I just smiled)

Des : does Key oppa always visiting you? Is he staying also here during night?

Shin Ae : of course not. He has a dorm. His manager will kill him if he’ll stay here overnight.

Cathy : good thing. We really don’t want him to stay here. We are still young to have a nephew or niece.

Shin Ae : we are not yet doing it Cathy. Don’t worry.

April : yet???! So you have a plan doing that thing with him?!

Shin Ae : it’s normal, we are couple. (I said boastfully)

Des : couple huh? (smirked)

Shin Ae : (wrinkled my forehead) wae? what’s that smile?

Des : where’s your ring dear?

I WAS CAUGHT! I FORGOT TO PUT MY RING. I HIDE MY HANDS BEHIND ME.

Des : don’t hide it pabo. We already noticed that before. You weren’t wearing your ring. Every time we hang out, you don’t have your ring. I’m just curios Why?

Shin Ae : (didn’t answer)

Cathy : why Shin Ae?

Des : I also noticed that you aren’t talking too much about Key. Aren’t you proud that your boyfriend is a Hallyu star?

Shin Ae : I am..

Des : but….?

Shin Ae : but………

April : don’t tell me, you don’t love him.

EVERYBODY REMAINED SILENT. WAITING FOR ME TO SHOUT ON APRIL BECAUSE IT WASN’T A GOOD JOKE. BUT THEY DIDN’T HEARD ANYTHING FROM ME.

Cathy : chincha??? Does April right?

Shin Ae : i.. i like him.

Des : c’mon Shin Ae. LIKE AND LOVE ARE DIFFERENT.

I WAS STUNNED AND SHOCKED ON WHAT I HAVE HEARD. IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE ALREADY HEARD THAT… I THINK AND THINK UNTIL I REMEMBERED JONG HYUN OPPA. YES! THAT WAS ALSO EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID TO ME. BUT…. DID HE NOTICED THAT I WAS CONFUSED ABOUT LIKE AND LOVE? HOW? AM I THAT OBVIOUS???

Shin Ae : (blinked) wha.. what?

Des : if you really love Key, you can answer me straightly. Everybody can like others. I like Key oppa also, I like you, I like Cathy, I like April, I like my dog.. but I can’t have a special relationship between you guys because it was only like. Having a relationship with other needs love. Like can be felt by anyone. But love, no.. your heart can only love and be attracted with one person.

Shin Ae : am… am I obvious?

Des : actually not. But if we’ll gonna compile all your actions, you are ultimately obvious.

Shin Ae : (I bowed)

April : what now? you can’t continue that anymore. Tell Key. He’ll gonna be hurt.

Shin Ae : (I lifted my head) I can’t…

Cathy : you think you’re not hurting him now? you are hurting him more because you are only pretending that you love him.

Taemin : (eating ramen at the kitchen’s table)

Key : (sat lazily in front of Taemin)

Taemin : (stopped eating and looked at Key) wae hyung? Are you sick?

Key : ani…( shook his head then placed his palms on his chin)

Taemin : don’t get sick hyung. We will be going to Bangkok two days after this day.

Key : (sighed) Bangkok….

Taemin : aren’t you excited hyung? (taemin asked happily)

Key : why should i? (squinted at Taemin)

Taemin : (pouted) we will meet SHAWOLS in Bangkok

Key : except on that thing, there’s no other thing to be excited for.

Taemin : (ignored Key and just ate his ramen happily)

Jong hyun : wazzup! (sat beside Taemin)

Taemin : hyung, you want? (he offered his ramen with a smiling face)

Jong hyun : no no.. just eat it. you need to gain weight. (chuckled)

Taemin : arasseo.. (started to eat again)

Jong hyun : what’s that face Key? Are you sick?

Key : aniyo.. I’m just tired. (he stubborn)

Jong hyun : tired? But we didn’t accept any schedules for this past days. What makes you tired?

Key : nothing. (he answered coldly)

Min ho : are you tired loving Shin Ae already? (came out from nowhere.)

TAEMIN SUDDENLY STOPPED EATING RAMEN. JONG HYUN LOOKED AT MIN HO CONFUSEDLY. AND KEY, WAS STUNNED, AND ALMOST LOST.

Onew : (came from behind then stopped when he saw everybody was silent. INNOCENT) wae? what’s on?

Key : (tried to laugh but it’s obvious that it was only force) what are you saying min ho yah~ it’s not a nice joke.

Minho : sorry hyung, I can’t help not to crack a joke like that because I can’t see your fingers wearing your couple ring. (sat beside Key and drank his water.)

EVERYBODY LOOKED AT KEY’S FINGERS. YES. NO RING AT ALL.

Taemin : hyung…. Why aren’t you wearing your ring? Did you lost it?? (asked worriedly)

Key : an… aniyo.. (stuttering) i…

Onew : (sat beside Taemin. facing Key) are you two already broke up???

Key : aniyo!( shouted at Onew)

Onew : then why aren’t you wearing your couple ring? You should wear it.

Key : I just forgot to place it back because I washed my face a while ago. (he lied)

Jong hyun :Put it now. (commands key)

KEY IMMEDIATELY WENT UPSTAIRS TO GET HIS RING.

Taemin : (thinking deeply.)

Onew : don’t think too much. (patted Taemin’s shoulder)

Taemin : (smiled at Onew) hyung, let’s buy chicken later, I’ll treat you.

Onew : (happy) chincha?!

Taemin : (nodded happily)

Jong hyun & Minho : how about us?

Taemin : (laughed) I won’t forget you guys.

SUDDENLY, THEIR MANAGER CAME.

Hyungnim : annyeong! Seems like everyone is in the kitchen huh.

Taemin : (happy) hyungnim!!!!

Hyungnim : (laughed at Taemin who acts like he saw his dad.)

Onew : hyung, what are you doing here?

Hyungnim : I have already the list of performers for Korean Music Wave in Bangkok. And.. uuhh… many fans requested a special stage of NICKEY couple.

Jong hyun : what?! But hyungnim, you shouldn’t accepted it. Key isn’t yet ready to face Nicole.

Hyungnim : but why? Key had already a girlfriend right?

Jong hyun : that’s the point. He had already a girlfriend. And she is not aware about this scene. Hyung, Shin Ae might get hurt.

TAEMIN WAS JUST LISTENING. HE WAS ALSO HURT BECAUSE SHIN AE WILL BE HURT  BECAUSE OF THE OTHER GUY.

Hyungnim: c’mon jong hyun. It’s not a big deal. Only one performance. it won’t hurt her that much. And besides, Key loves her right? She only needs trust.

Key : I won’t do it. (key said from behind)

THE FIVE LOOKED AT HIM.

Hyungnim : wae?

Key : because I don’t like.

Hyungnim : mwo? It’s not reasonable.

Key : i really felt awkward when I am with her. that’s all.

Hyungnim : I understand you key, but fans are still expecting you to do it. just once. For the last. Nicole had already accepted it.

Key : (sighed)

AFTER AN HOUR, KEY ALSO ACCEPTED THE SPECIAL STAGE.

BOY : delivery ma’am. (showed the envelope)

Shin Ae : delivery? From? (gets the envelope and read to whom it came from.) Key??

AFTER SIGNING, THE DELIVERY BOY LEFT ALREADY.

SHIN AE POV

I opened the envelope and sat at the couch. Why does he need to deliver it? and what’s this? I saw ticket for the Korean music wave concert in Bangkok, a plane ticket and a letter. “chagiya, please attend on our concert at Bangkok next day. I’ll be picking you up before we go to the airport. LOVE, KEY””
