I was out of inspiration for this part of the story but she had one chapter that is quite similar to how I plan, so I used her chapter to inspire me but originality of the plot belongs to me. Kai’s POV

“You two have plans of your own am I right?” I murmured.

LuHan went to on the lights and sat beside me on the bed as he lets out a sigh.

“Have you decided?” He asked.

I shook my head and covered myself with my pillow.

“Are you going to avoid it?” he added.

“Avoid what?” I grunted.

“Are you sure you’re going to leave here without resolving your problem and not telling me?” he asked me.

“Who knows?” I replied coldly.

He chuckled.

What seems to be so amusing to you, LuHan. I’m lying on my bed thinking about my problem and there you are just laughing at me.

“You already know that SeHun and I have plans of our own, we already know what your problem is and why you came to China...” he paused.

“And you know very well that our guesses is never wrong.” he added.

Great~ The HunHan couple can become my fortune tellers already. So please tell me what am I avoiding?

“What’s your guess about me avoiding?” I asked with a cold expression, emphasizing more on the word ‘avoiding’.

“I know that you know who we’re talking about, Kai. You came to China is because you’re trying to see whether she is worth to fight for. You came here because she belongs to someone else. Am I right?” He asked, as if he was reading off my mind.

I remained silent.

“And there you are sitting on this bed, trying to make a decision.” He stated.

“You came here trying desperately to find the answer because you’re afraid…” LuHan continued but I cut him off.

“I’m not afraid, LuHan. You and SeHun are thinking too much.” I lied.

LuHan shook his head and placed his index finger on his lips.

“Let me finish before you speak.” He told me in order to silence me.

I had no choice but to listen.

“You came here trying desperately to find the answer because you’re afraid. You’re afraid that you will lose in the game of love because you know she belongs to someone else, and she can never be yours.” LuHan mentioned.

Damn it. Those words hit me hard like rocks.

“I know that you have Telekinesis as your ‘power’ but I didn’t know you could read minds.” I answered.

He laughed once again.

“Pabo. I don’t read minds. SeHun and I just know you a little too well.” He told me.

Then there was a moment of silence.

“So? What is it going to be?” He asked with a pinch of concern in his tone.

I shrugged and shook my head.

“To tell the truth, I’m not quite clear myself.” I honestly said.

He lets out another sigh.

“Well, one thing we both know for sure that the DECISION is yours to make.” LuHan said.

“I’ve thought of it but I don’t know whether I made the right choice.” I answered truthfully.

LuHan looked at me for a moment and sighed once more.

“I thought so. Your respond and decision scares me as well.” LuHan claimed.

Another moment of silence filled the room, until LuHan’s phone rang.

He was speaking in Mandarin. I am able to interpret a little of what he said but nonetheless I’m left clueless.

Once he ended his call, his expression turned sour.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“Someone wants to see you at the nearby Star Bucks café opposite our dorm.” LuHan told me.

“Who?” I asked.

Guess what, the person who wanted to see me was Lay.

That’s right, Lay.

He’s back in China earlier than expected.

And… he seemed rather… nice one way or another.

In fact, we actually talked, over some coffee.

Surprisingly, the both of us had one thing in common, we don’t drink. We prefer tea or coffee over beer.

“Guess you’re wondering why I’m back so early.” He spoke.

“Quite and why?” I questioned.

He smirked and drank his Tazo Green Tea Latte.

“It’s because of her.” He replied with a touch of sourness in his tone.

“She didn’t seem so please to see me in person after what I did to her. She even confronted me yesterday about my behavior.” He added.

I chuckled.

“Amusing isn’t it? She’s the first girl who ever confronted me about my behavior. She’s something.” He stated.

I shrugged.

“Having problems with your girl? My mistake, it’s girlfriend by contract. Is there a cold war?” he asked.

“Don’t you dare mentioned the word ‘contract’ in front of me.” I growled.

Lay smirked and took another sip of Latte.

“Okay. Having a cold war with your ‘baby’?” he asked again.

I shrugged and didn’t want to respond.

“Kai, are you being serious here? You’re telling me that you don’t know?” He said.

“If you really don’t take her seriously, Taemin will…” Lay tried to finish his sentence but I interrupted.

“It’s just a fake relationship.” I pointed out.

“I know that. The irony thing is even though this is a fake relationship, she cares a lot about you do you know?” Lay told me.

‘She cares a lot about you’

You think I don’t know? I know a hell lot better than you Lay.

I know she cares but this is just a…

“Like I said…She’s something…” Lay restated.

I stared daggers at him.

“Then I allow you to steal her… IF YOU CAN.” I replied.

Lay rolled his eyes and chuckled.

“You’re forever always cold, broken and selfish.” He commented.

“I’ll take that as a compliment.” I sneered.

Thanks to him, I am a little more confident that I made the right decision.

Once again I was in my room, with all lights pulled out.

Blasting myself with music, trying to get her out of my mind for that one moment but no matter how hard I try I just can’t.

I tossed and turned around the bed, I couldn’t get to sleep.

‘What is Love?’ was playing on my playlist.

The first sentence hit me.

“Girl, I can’t explain what I feel.”

I tried closing my eyes but I couldn’t.

The chorus strike me.

“I. Lost. My. Mind.”

True enough. I have definitely lost my mind.

Once again, I tried closing my eyes to sleep by forcing it but nothing seems to work.

I got up of bed to find two phones on the table, the black IPhone was mine but the white one belongs to...

I unlocked the phone to find that it belongs to LuHan.

He left his notes app open with a message.

“First thing, listen to ‘Soft Snore’, in my playlist.

Then, you’ll know what to do with my phone later.

I went to his playlist and found the thing he wanted me to listen to.

I listened to the first five seconds of the ‘song’ and I already knew what they were up to.

‘Soft Snore’ is just a recording of someone’s snore. The only thing that can make me sleep peacefully at night.

SeHun must have recorded it and sent it to LuHan... The two masterminds.

I immediately stopped playing the recording.

I wanted to hear someone’s voice…

I wanted to hear it before deciding that I made the right decision.

So I dialled someone’s number using LuHan’s phone.

Now, I know why he typed I’ll know what to do with his phone later.

EunHye’s POV

I was on the sofa.

Crying myself to sleep.

I went to the toilet to clean up.

I looked at myself in the mirror to find my hideous self.

Look at you, EunHye.

You’re a mess. You messed up.

Your eyes are swollen and red from all that crying.

Why won’t you stop?

The crying frenzy started when I received LuHan’s call two days ago.

I picked up my phone.

“Yoboseyo?” I said.

“Ah~ Is this EunHye?” the person asked.

“Ne. I’m speaking and you are?” I asked.

“I’m LuHan.”

“Oh! Annyeonghaseyo LuHan ssi.”

He laughed.

“Don’t need to be so formal with me. Just call me oppa.” He said cheerfully.

“Ah… Arasso.”

“LuHan s.. I mean oppa, why did you call?” I asked.

“Oh, about that, you know that Kai is in China now right?” he said.

“Yes. SeHun told me. Waeyo? Wait, how is he? Is he okay? Is his back ache recovering? Does he eat well while he’s in China?” I kept asking about Kai’s well being, I am so concern.

There was a moment of silence then he chuckled.

“So it seems that you DO care about Kai.” LuHan told me.

“Please don’t tell Kai.” I pleaded.

“Waeyo? It’s not a sin to care for him you know.” He pointed out.

“I know. Showing concern for him is least of my problems. He won’t notice anyways. He went to China because he doesn’t want to see me.” I replied.

“Why do you say that?” he asked.

“He said that he doesn't want to see or hear me again.” I muttered.

“Don’t care about what he says! He can be such a pabo at times. Nothing goes into his mind before saying.” LuHan explained.

“It’s okay. As long as he’s fine. LuHan oppa, while he is in China. Please do take care of him. It’s because of me which is why he is in China.” I said.

“No worries. I’ll take care of him. After all, I’m one of the eldest members of EXO. I’ll know what to do.” He assured me.

After the call, I cried.

He’s all the way in China because of me. Because of my foolishness.

I was blind and dumb for not seeing it coming.

My phone suddenly rang.

You know what? Whenever my phone rang like how it is ringing now, I always carry a hope that it is Kai who is calling.

I grabbed my phone and…

Omo, unknown number?

I answered.

“Yoboseyo?” I said.

There was no answer from the caller but deep, heavy breathing.

My heart started racing and aching.

All I could hear was silence from the caller.

It’s him.

It just had to be him.

I bit the lower part of my lips trying to stop myself from crying.

But the feeling is just too overwhelming.

I fell to my knees.

I cried, cried a river perhaps but nonetheless my tears are uncontrollable.

I tried to speak, despite the fact that I was crying terribly.

“Kai. I know it’s you. It just had to be you. Even if you don’t ever want to see or hear me ever again, please just listen to me, just this once? I promise that after this call I will never bother you again…” I paused.

After sniffling, I continued.

“I’m crying now, it’s not because I miss you or anything. I’m crying because I’m sorry. I’m sorry for saying something which hurt you. I know accepting Taemin oppa as my boyfriend is one of the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. Losing you is another mistake that I made. I’m crying right now because I realize that I’m going to be alright with you. Could you at least trust me on that?”

I had to say it. I couldn’t hold it on any longer.

For the past two weeks, I’ve been crying because I miss him terribly. I missed him so much. I chose Taemin over Kai because of what Taemin had done for me in the past but not now.

I’m crying terribly now because I had just realized that I’m going to be fine with Kai. I feel strongly for him.

I love the cold and arrogant dancing machine.

I’m in love with Kim Jong In.

But I think that it’s just a one sided love.

After what I said, the call ended.

It’s him. I know it’s him.

He need not say anything because I knew that it’s him.

Kai’s POV

I ended the call.

I wanted to say something but I just can’t seem to find the right words.

No words were enough to comfort her.

I didn’t utter a single word and she knew it was me.

What she said really left an impact on me.

“Kai. I know it’s you. It just had to be you. Even if you don’t ever want to see or hear me ever again, please just listen to me, just this once? I promise that after this call I will never bother you again…”

“I’m crying now, it’s not because I miss you or anything. I’m crying because I’m sorry. I’m sorry for saying something which hurt you. I know accepting Taemin oppa as my boyfriend is one of the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. Losing you is another mistake that I made. I’m crying right now because I realize that I’m going to be alright with you. Could you at least trust me on that?”

EunHye, you suddenly made me confuse about whether I had made the right decision.
