Sick
The Golden QuillGaelin entered the apartment and looked around the deserted entrance. It was quiet. Just maybe she had arrived before Lee Soo-hyuk. Then he wouldn’t be able to say anything to her. The dinner with the girls had ended at 22:00 and it was just past 22:30. Asa! This was good after all.
“I was expecting you a little earlier.” A cool voice remarked from behind her. Gaelin didn’t face him. Why did he always have to get one over on her, “Worst President Ever,” she heard him mock.
“Good evening President. It was the House Master that followed Lee Soo-hyuk out of the library. “Did you have a good day?” Gaelin nodded, “Well the President should freshen up and then we can go over some of the accounts ahead of the Annual Estate Meeting.”
Gaelin sighed before turning to the stairs and heading toward their bedroom on the third floor.
Soo-hyuk watched her thoughtfully. “On second thought House Master, why don’t you call it a day, you have been waiting for some time, and it’s late.” Gaelin turned back and their eyes met.

“It's alright.” Soo-hyuk swept aside what she said.
The House Master looked ready to keel over, he hated getting caught in the tension between the Presidents.
Gaelin was too tired to fight him even though it felt like he was accusing her of not fulfilling her duties “Leave whatever is urgent on my desk, and I will go over it before the meeting.” Gaelin promised. Soo-hyuk stalked back into the library and Namjoon followed close behind.
He was so mean, why did he have to make her feel so useless. It was the last thing she needed, especially after the meeting with Jung Ho-seok and Min Yoongi. They had to keep her secret. There was no way she could have Lee Soo-hyuk find out. It would cause all sorts of problems in the Consortium and in her marriage. Already he was suspicious, and that was bad. He was watching her, she could feel his eyes on her, and she couldn’t take it.
“Are you still here?” Soo-hyuk stopped beside her on the landing.
Gaelin snapped out of her daydreaming and blinked, “I…” she looked around confused.
“Pabo,” he held up a hand and rested it against her forehead. Gaelin leaped back and he laughed at her sudden jumpiness.
The elevator opened and Taeh
