“It was very clear when I said Thursday, 3PM. Not 2:59, not 3:01 but 3PM sharp. And now none of you can even give me a single project?”

All the young students had their heads down as their Literature teacher, Do Kyungsoo, scolds them for not being able to submit their project. “I am so disappointed at all of you. I know you are all busy for the school festival but it doesn’t mean you’ll neglect your studies. The coordinators only give you a preferable amount of time for the preparation each day, you don’t do it all day long. Am I right?” He asks firmly. No one answers. “Do you hear what I just asked, am I right?!” He asks, much louder this time which made them all flinch. “NE.” The scared youngsters all said but kept their heads low.

For the past few weeks that has passed, Kyungsoo admits that he’s been much more stressed out and grumpy especially to his students for the same reason that he’s been having – the proposal. At the same time, Ahreum’s been busy for this week because of another skit rehearsal she was preparing for.

“Then where are the projects I asked for? Not even one of you?” His flaring eyes looking at each of them, he was mad as hell but deep inside he doesn’t really know if it’s really the project or he’s just really stressed out. “Class president, stand up.” He Orders and not even a second, the class’s president, Yeon Sora stood up, her hands were trembling behind her and her classmates were looking at her in concern. “As the class president, you have the responsibility to remind your classmates about everything you have to do. DID YOU REMIND THEM?” Kyungsoo asks with so much rage that seriously scared the student.

“S-sir. . . I am part of the student coordinators and I was very busy—“Very busy. Very busy huh. I’m part of the board for the festival, I evaluate the preparation, each club and officers every single day, I go home and prepare for lesson plan til midnight, as much as I could I go to my gir—I go home barely sleeping, okay. And you’re telling me you’re busy?” he asks, almost mention about his girlfriend. He isn’t necessarily hiding it to his students but he’s just not the type to talk about it. “I am giving you one more chance. I want the projects tomorrow. Is it clear?” He asks and they all nodded. “Am I asking for a nod? I want answers, is it clear??” He repeated louder and even slammed his hand on the table.

“NE!” They all answered loudly this time. Kyungsoo heaves a sigh and folded his arms. He remained his fierce-looking eyes darting towards each students, that kind of stare from your teacher that could actually kill you mentally. One of the worst things they fear about him being their teacher. The way he suddenly goes all silent but scary enough like that with his eyes alone. It was terrifying for the young students.

But fortunately, that scary atmosphere just had to be interrupted when a loud ringtone echoed in the silent classroom.

‘Oppa you’re mine~ Oppa, always mine mine mine~ Yah Oppa~ answer your baby~ Answer now~’

Kyungsoo’s eyes bulge out and his body stiffened hearing such ringtone, his girlfriend’s voice and definitely realizing it was his phone. With that one adorable ringtone, the students all looked up and began squealing and giggling knowing that the sound was coming from Kyungsoo’s bag. “W-whose phone is that.” Kyungsoo asks acting oblivious but that’s when his phone began vibrating hard at the same time with the ringtone of Ahreum singing the same sentence over and over again. The vibration made an impact on the table and there is no way he can still avoid it. And not having any choice, he spoke,

“CLASS DISMISSED.”

“Omo~ Sir, you have a girlfriend? She sounds so cute~” One female student suddenly spoke and the others grinned along. “Didn’t you hear me? I said class dismissed.” He said, his cheeks were already flushed and the students could clearly see it. Finally, they all packed their stuffs up and slowly but surely, they all left the classroom.
