CHAPTER 21: Worry

"P-pass-sion-nate K-kiss?" Sukyeon stuttered as she read the sentence.

Oh My God! Me and T-taekwoon ssi?? Ooooh, Ottokeeee??

She hid her embarrassed face behind the pillow.

Meanwhile, in the next room Taekwoon was also having mental breakdown. He said in his mind, Just like what I feared, what should I do?!

Jaehwan who lied on the bed, reading the script, was also looking at Hyde & Lucy scene. He asked in his head, Will they do that?

The three of them drown in their minds worrying about the same thing.

The next afternoon, Sukyeon and Jaehwan came to the meeting room to do first reading. There they met the production team and the cast. Sukyeon’s eyes directly landed on Taekwoon. But when he started to look at Sukyeon's direction, she directly looked at somewhere, avoiding him.

Then, the cast were sitting in rounded and being accompanied by Minki and Gayoon. Meanwhile the production staffs were sitting in a bigger round, surrounding the cast.

Minki then started the meeting with asking the cast to introduce themselves. Then, the production staffs also been asked to introduce themselves one by one. Minki asked the cast to remember every staffs' name in order to create a solid teamwork.

Then, Minki started the first reading with asking, "Okay... Have you read the script?"

The casts were saying yes.

"Then, let's start first reading with Jekyll.. Please starts Jekyll first scene, Jaehwan.. " Minki asked Jaehwan to practice his first line.

Jaehwan tried his first monologue line with a bit nervous. He gets critiques and suggestions from Minki and Gayoon to improve his line. Then, it moved to Hyde, so Taekwoon does his line with Shindong who played as Sir Archibald. He also got suggestion to improve his line. The next one was Emma. Irene tried her line with Son Dongwoon who played as Sir Danvers. And then Sukyeon's turn to tried her first line with Jaehwan. And it went like that until all of the cast tried their first lines.

In the end of the first reading, Gayoon asked, "Is there anything you want to ask about the script? Maybe some suggestions or objections?"

Sukyeon bit her lower lips, she really wanted to ask Gayoon to erase the kiss scene, but she didn’t have enough guts.

Then, after the meeting officially ended by Minki, Sukyeon caught Gayoon.

"Unnie.. Can I talk to you for a while?"

"Why?" Gayoon asked.

"Mmm.. Unnie.. Can you throw away the Hyde and Lucy kiss scene?" Sukyeon asked slowly.

Gayoon laughed. "Wwhhyyy?"

"I don't think I can make it.... Unnie please..." Sukyeon begged.

"Yeon ah.. You know that Hyde and Lucy relationship is based on , right? It's better I only give you kiss scene.. Not bed scene..." Gayoon happily .

"Unnie!!!" Sukyeon regretted asking that thing to Gayoon.

"It's okay Yeon ah.. Just do it professionally.. " Gayoon ended her words while patting Sukyeon's shoulder.

Heol... Sukyeon sighed. But then when she turned, she saw Taekwoon who was looking at her.

Omo! Does he listen my request to Gayoon unnie? Ah! Really.... Sukyeon hid her face and ran away.

Sukyeon, Jaehwan, and Taekwoon were going back home together. In the way home, they were all silent, until Jaehwan broke the ice.

"Hyung.. Yeon ah.. Say something.. It's really awkward now that we're all silent.."

"Saying what, Hwan ah? I have nothing to say.." Sukyeon answered lazily. Her mind was still going somewhere far on the scene she was worried about.

"I know you think about the kiss scene, right?" Jaehwan bluntly asked.

"Yaaa!" Sukyeon unconsciously yelled at Jaehwan, forget that Taekwoon was walking next to him. She stole glance to look at Taekwoon who sighed. She was clearing and said, "Ehem.. I'm not.."

"Hish.. Lie.." Jaehwan said to Sukyeon, then turned to Taekwoon, "Hyung.. Don't just be silent.. We should do the first practice next week.. This awkwardness should be resolved before then.. Tells her to relax and doing it professionally.. You're a great actor, right hyung? I guess you can differentiate script and personal relations.."

"Lee Jaehwan stop it uh..." Sukyeon pouted.

Then Jaehwan slung his arm around her shoulder and pulled her to his side while whispers, "Don't worry Yeon ah.. Just believe on Taekwoon hyung.."

Sukyeon sighed again and hid in the shade of Jaehwan's body avoiding Taekwoon.

Meanwhile Taekwoon talked in his mind, Great actor what? Differentiate what? I find it really difficult too, Hwan! Relax you say? How can I control my feeling when doing that scene? Gosh, it's too hard for me..

"Just don't think Sukyeon as Hakyeon hyung's little sister, hyung.. " Jaehwan said again
