Hate You

To Steal His Heart

Hello my dear readers!~ Ah...I'm in such a good mood now after all your support >.< Thank you all so much! Hahaha. Now that I think about it, I shouldn't worry too much if someone unsubcribes >.< That's their choice, but I'll still strive to make this story better and better. ^_^

Anyway...ah, so I have many tests this week, so I may not be able to update often, but I will update next weekend and some time in the middle of the week. This will give readers who need to catch up time to do so, but it kinda stinks for those who already are caught up...Anyway...Sorry >.<

I hope you like the chapter. Hoepfully it will compensate for not being able to update this week! >.< Thanks!~ Oh, and it's my birthday on Thursday >.< I'm super excited ^.^

Anyway, that was just a bit of me being selfish and boasting to the world. Please ignore and Enjoy!~

Sungmin felt uneasy as he attempted to talk Kyuhyun out of MiSun's plan. Why? Because MiSun's plan itself made him feel uneasy. Just the thought of it gave him an unsettling feeling in his stomach like something was just going to go wrong. Taking Kyuhyun's personality into account and adding it to this risky plan spelt trouble. He most definitely was going to make the wrong move or say the wrong thing, purely acting upon emotion.

He wasn't sure though, if all his worries were just directed towards Kyuhyun's problems. Since meeting Lee MiSun, he actually liked her blunt, sarcastic, straight-forward personality. He thought she was a nice person to be with. Although she said mean things and acted a certain way, she had a good heart and good intentions to back it up. She meant well even at the expense of her own image. These were things he could clearly identify about her. She was a good person in disguise. She'd say one thing, but mean something totally different.

It was a shame that Nana was oblivious to these intentions. Judging by the way she acted a few days before, he could tell that she felt hurt and betrayed. Her best friend went out with a guy she liked. That was against girl code or something, right? It was a shame she was blind to the fact that MiSun was secretly trying to help her and set her up with the guy she truly belonged with.

In his opinion, Kim Nana was making this harder than it needed to be. It wasn't as if he didn't like her. In fact, he found her dense energetic personality to be adorable. He would love to have her as a little sister. Still, Sungmin couldn't help but resent her just a bit. She was taking things for granted and she was being unfair. She liked two guys, and couldn't decide between the two. Once she finally did, she got jealous over MiSun and Kyuhyun (although it was fake), even though she already chose.

Wasn't she being selfish? She could only choose one or the other, so she chose...but then she went back on that decision, and made Kyuhyun feel guilty after she felt betrayed. The thing is, he didn't betray her. Neither did MiSun. She chose Siwon, so she had no right to be acting this way, yet she continued to do so. It was rather infuriating. It was unfair and selfish, yet she couldn't be blamed. She was like a little kid; confused, oblivious, scared, inexperienced. How was she to know what to do?

That's why someone needed to put an end to this. Someone needed to stop the confusion. They needed to reach a concrete conclusion. Either Nana decided to choose Kyuhyun, or they'd leave it the way it is; Nana with Siwon and Kyuhyun with MiSun (although that stung a bit when he thought about it too. Perhaps he was just being overprotective of his best friend)

That was why he was now fighting to stop Kyuhyun from involving himself in MiSun's plan.

"Hyung, you can't do this." He warned yet again, although he'd repeated this about 20 times already. Kyuhyun rolled his eyes and grumbled.

"What's stopping me?" Sungmin frowned at the response.

"I am. You just can't, hyung. It'll just make things worse than they are. I have a feeling something bad is going to happen." He explained with worry. Kyuhyun shrugged it off, not even sparing Sungmin a single glance, Then again, he'd been in a daze all day. Sungmin didn't expect much else from him at the moment.

"You know what they say...things only get worse before they get better." Sungmin's eyebrows furrowed in frustration. He just couldn't seem to get his point through to Kyuhyun's head. He sat himself in front of the boy, and attempted to convince him again.

"But what if they don't get better? What if something bad happens and they get wrecked and stay bad?" Kyuhyun suddenly frowned, and swatted him away. He stood up, and turned to leave, but turned back to Sungmin one last time before he left.

"Just let me do what I want this time. If I screw it up, I screw it up. I don't really care right now about any of that." Sungmin nodded to himself after Kyuhyun abruptly left.

"So he says."

"Kyu!" Kyuhyun stopped in his tracks as the familiar melodic voice reached his ears. He literally froze up in both anticipation and fear of whatever would come next. She'd either be angry or sad, and right now he couldn't stand to see either. The latter though, was much worse. It killed him inside. He allowed the petite girl to catch up to him, until she was at his side.

"Kyu." She spoke again, staring up at him with wide big glossy eyes. Her lips formed into a slight pout. He couldn't help but notice her bottom lip tremble as her gaze met the ground. He finally broke his gaze from her lips, just in case she'd think anything of it, although he was really only observing her habits. Her bottom lip always trembled when she was either nervous, upset, or scared. In this case, eh figured she was experiencing all three.

"What do you want?" He grumbled. Although he originally planned to stay casual around Nana, recent thoughts were flooding through his mind and polluting his opinion. He didn't want to be nice to her. She deserved this. She was being unfair to him, so why should he give in? Sure, he loved her, but she made it clear that she liked someone else. Yet, she still led him on like this. It was infuriating.

He grimaced as he watched her expression turn miserable. Her eyes looked sadder, and she hung her head as though she were a child being punished for doing wrong.

"Kyu...did I do something wrong? Do you h-hate me?" She whimpered, tugging on his sleeve. He pulled his arm away from her grasp, and took a few steps away from her. Her eyes widened at this, and she frowned, her body shaking slightly. She nervously pulled a strand of hair behind her ear, and hugged her body, attempting to stop the shaking. "Hahaha. I guess you do." She nervously forced a laugh, although she was in no mood to laugh. In fact, she wanted to cry, but she did all she could to stop herself from doing so.

He suddenly wanted to protest her assumption. He wanted to hold her and tell her that he loved her and could never hate her, but he stopped himself. If he did that, he'd only fall deeper. He'd lose out in the end. He didn't want to act any further unless there was a safety net underneath him, in case he did lose out. He wanted to be sure.

"That's right." Kyuhyun replied, forcing a cocky smirk. "Why? You thought I liked you?" He forced cruel laughter, although his heart broke as he caught sight of her expression. Her eyes widened in disbelief, as though she couldn't believe what she just heard. She bit down on her lip, hard, to stop it from trembling. She bit down so hard that it had started to bleed, and he had to resist the temptation to wipe it away. She froze in place, her heart beating too fast for her to keep track. In rang through her ears, obnoxiously, as if mocking her.

"Y-You do?" She suddenly choked out. "You're kidding, right?" She grasped for his sleeve, just to cling onto, glancing up at him with her doe-like eyes. "Right, Kyu?" He tore away from her grasp, forcing a sneer.

"Get away from me."

"K-Kyu..."

He turned to leave, only because he couldn't stand hearing her small petrified voice any longer. He was hurting her, and he knew it. Kyuhyun was now betraying her, but he couldn't help it. He once again, acted upon his emotions and anger, and lost her. He said the cruelest thing he could have said.

Sungmin was right. He needed to end it. This jealousy game was pointless. He did end it. He ended it the hard way. Instead of withdrawing from MiSun's plan, he decided to cut ties off with Nana. Now she was just a nobody to him. She was just a person...a person he just so happened to love.

"Kyu!" He heard Nana call from behind him. He ignored it, and continued walking away.

"Kyuhyun-ah!" He glanced back to see that she wasn't chasing after him. She was frozen in place, her legs trembling. They suddenly gave out from underneath her, and she crumbled to the floor.

"Kyuhyun-ssi!"

He turned back, and continued walking as though he never heard anything. He continued on as though he didn't care, and it wasn't killing him inside. He continued walking as though he didn't love her, without even knowing that she loved him too.

He walked away leaving behind what could have been.
