From the Heart of a Potential Bridezilla
Description
If I could pick out all the things I either completely objected to or would rather die than do, this would probably be at the top of my list. Arranged marriage? Dear father, we live in freakin' America. I don't care how traditional you prefer to be, I refuse to ever marry at the age of 17. Yeah...well speaking my mind didn't exactly work so here I am with all my bottled up sass and sarcasm ready to give my soon-to-be husband hell in hopes that I'll be sent back home. Things aren't looking up for the potential bridezilla.
Foreword
NOTE (These are just my ramblings. Skip if you'd like) To be honest, I'm not into cliche stories at all. To be more precise, I detest them and can hardly stand one overdone story. I do not like my chicken overdone, so naturally I'd prefer to keep my reading and writing juicy too because dry chicken does not taste good at all. However, something had interrupted my flow. It was called Creative Writing class. Yes, Creative Writing class is a class that helps teach me to start writing a new story each day with a given prompt, and to never finish ones I've started. I love that class to bits, but it's not helping my AFF writing life. Anyway, our topic of the day was to write a coming-of-age story. Being the partly Japanese child I am, I immediately thought arranged marriage. And then I started writing based on my mood, and my main character, Kimi, ended up with the most sarcastic sassy personality ever. And that was when I started having fun, and couldn't stop; thus, this fic was created. I've been writing non-stop in my free time, and this is the result. So, I do hope you all enjoy your reading.

In an average life of me, Ishikawa Kimi, I only thought three things in life were impossible:
1. Watching Mr. Stone-face smile at something other than his daughter's pain
2. Seeing my mother cry for me at something other than how I was such a beautiful child when I was younger and somehow ended up messed up
3. Having an arranged marriage at the age of 17 to some kid that stuck gum in my hair when I was younger and kicked me in the shin
If you guessed that all of these ended up happening to me, then you're dead wrong. My parents are still pretty messed up. So messed up, that they decided that it would be fun to mess with my life a little. And all I can say to this is...I'm screwed unless I can find a way out.
Characters:
Ishikawa Kimi - A Japanese girl living in America, born from a very traditional family of a very wealthy business owner who's main center lies within North America. Although they live in a different country, her father likes to keep strict to traditions, so she is brought up in an all-Japanese environment. She is much like a porcupine, so despite her cute outward appearence, her personality is very spiky an unwelcoming. On the outside, she tries to be the perfect angelic daughter to live up to her parents very expectation, but on the inside, she is very sarcastic, sharp-tongued, sassy, and stubborn. She is especially in opposition of any sort of change
Park Chanyeol - First born son of a very wealthy business owner in Seoul. He has a very easy-going cheerful personality and is very joking and easy to get along with. He seems to turn serious and stone-cold when it comes to his father's business, being the first son born and the expected heir to his father's company, although it isn't something he ever wished for.
Other Characters - There will be more later. I'll just write them in as I go.
In case you didn't know, I own no one except my OCs here, but I suppose that's a given. It'd be insanely creepy if I owned a person because we call that slavery, and it's illegal.
