You're Suffocating Me - CYW Challenge Entry

Description

This isn't love. That was what Lee Cho Hee decided after a two year relationship with Kim Jonghyun; she was ready to move on. What she didn't know was that he wasn't. Although she hadn't taken this into account, she figured that he could get over her just as easily as she got over him. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case because he didn't love her anymore. His love had become more than that. Still, she overlooked this, which was where her mistake lay. Little did she know that her life would drastically change.

"Love is as much of an object as an obsession, everybody wants it, everybody seeks it, but few ever achieve it, those who do will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all, never… never forget it."

Kim Jonghyun was heart broken after the break up. He couldn't function anymore without Cho Hee by his side; eating, sleeping, laughing, breathing...it all became impossible. So, he decided that he would not live his life like that anymore. One way or another, Lee Cho Hee would be his and only his, until the day she died.

Foreword

Hello!~ Mizuki here. So, this is going to be a one-shot challenge entry for YesungLover's "Can You Write Better Than Me?! Challenge!" The first round is entry, followed up by a quote that I found very intriguing. I have decided that I will base this one-shot a bit off of "Going Crazy" by Song Ji Eun because it is my favorite KPop song, and it definitely fits here. I do hope you enjoy this, and find it as fun as I do. I hope I do well in the first round, so thank you very much!

"St-Stop it." She stuttered through chattering teeth. A chill ran down her spine, and she shivered. Cho Hee quickly glanced over her shoulder at the open window leading towards the small terrace outside her room. She tugged her cardigan closer to her body, and wrapped her arms around her chest. Her heart beat fast at the sound of his heavy breathing. It was unnatural, unsteady...unstable. "I-I mean it."

There was a long pause before any type of reply actually came, yet she knew he was still there. That had become evident by the loud heavy breathing on the other end of the phone.

"You didn't answer my last call." He finally spoke in a low, almost threatening voice. Her heart momentarily stopped. Her face drained of color, and she gasped for air. Adrenaline pumped through her veins at a speedy pace. Fear. Her eyes were wide, as she gaped at the phone, shivering. This time, she wasn't trembling because she was cold, but because she was scared. She didn't know anything. What he was capable of was unknown to her, but she knew it was a hell lot more than she originally planned it to be.

Seeing as there was no reply from the girl, Jonghyun continued in that said raspy desperate dark tone.

"I can see you."

She broke into silent tears before she could actually comprehend what was being said to her. With shaky, jello-like legs, she slowly crept to the terrace, pushing aside the curtains. They brushed past ehr as she walked by. She leaned against the railing, peering down into a nearby street light, where a stranger stood frozen in place next to a telephone booth. Sure enough, he was glancing up at her creepily with a grin plastered to his face, as though someone had cut out a grin with a knife from ear to ear.

Cho Hee held her breath, fearing that if she breathed, she'd only experience worse; something she'd regret.

"I've been here all night, Cho Hee. I've been watching you all night."

OMG I loved this oneshot! But I got so paranoid while I was reading it. Like I kept looking around my room and through my window where the blinds didn't cover. Haha, great story :)

I <3 this! The detail is amazing!
Not going to lie, this story gave me the shivers, I was looking out my window >_> constantly for a psycho Jonghyun haha! I prefer darker stories than cute stories, but end up scaring myself.
@Mudubu - Oh, thank you ^.^ Yeah, I like reading darker and mysterious things at times. I'm glad you liked it. It was very out of my comfort zone since I don't really write horror often. I might try something like this again though...if I feel up to it. Hmm...maybe on Halloween? I'm not sure.
