Heart to Heart Conversation

To Steal His Heart

Hahaha. It feels like I haven't written anything in such a long time, when I only update like...two or three days ago. Sheesh. I just can't stay away from you guys >.< Hahaha. Anyway, I wrote this chapter up real quick over the past few days although I've been busy. Let's just say this weekend hasn't actually felt like a weekend. Why? Homework, chores, homework, chores, and more homework >.< Lovely, isn't it?

Anyway, ah...I'm really bored, but I have so much studying and homework to complete. Hahaha. If I slow down in my updates, please try not to kill me. And if I really slow down, feel free to push me to start to write quickly >.< That is, if I can...

So...please comment, subscribe, whatever else you like to do ^.^ Hahaha. Enjoy the chapter, although I'm not really satisfied with it. Personally, I think it's a little boring. I think all this schoolwork is making me lose my writing slow. But, hopefully I'll get it back soon. Right now, I think my writing style is just all over the place because I'm so confused >.<

Well, with that said, enjoy!

P.S: So, who misses Heechul already? I know I do. Aish...why is two years such a long time? >.<

Nana happily skipped up to an unsuspecting Kyuhyun. A huge grin was plastered onto her face as she stopped behind him and placed her hands over his eyes.

"Guess who!" She ordered, trying her hardest to mask her voice. She heard a low grumble from the boy as she swatted her hands away from his face. She pouted, retracting her hands back to her side with a small sigh.

"Look, JaeHwa-ssi. I'm really not in the mood for your stupi-" He started before stopping short as he turned around only to find a petite pouting Nana. He heavily sighed, wondering whether he should've just sprinted away when he actually had the chance. He expected Nana to be furious. After all, he rudely kissed her to shut her up from tell Choi Siwon the whole truth behind his accidental lie. If Nana had found that out, she'd be angrier than she probably was now.

To his surprise, she wasn't angry at all. In fact, she had a bright happy grin on, which bothered him slightly. That must mean something good happened. If it were good for her it must've been bad for him in some way. But at the very least he managed to stop both her confession and the truth from slipping out. He'd rather have to face her pouts and angry words than either of those two things.

"You owe me." Nana stated happily.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." He retorted. She pouted, puffing her cheeks out, and narrowing her eyes at him.

"You promised. We made a deal remember?" She pressed further, giving him a expected stare. He shrugged his shoulders, seemingly not able to remember whatever she was going on about now. She crossed her arms and sighed. "Remember, Kyuhyun-ah? You promised that you would tell me about all your problems if I ki-....Well, you know what I mean." Her cheeks flushed red, unable to finish the word. She felt as though she would explode on impact if she did.

"Oh that. Right." He quickly agreed. He showed Nana an annoyed expression, as he wondered why she was being so nosy. Since when did she care about his problems. Aish...it was probably that MiSun setting her up again. He wasn't stupid. It was obvious that MiSun was trying to force them together, and it was...well, on his part, working. Nana still hated him...or at least didn't like him in the same way as he likes her, so it was a hopeless case. Nevertheless, he could always count on an unwanted MiSun to meddle.

"So..." She began, taking a seat on the ground. She balanced her body against a tree trunk to find a comfortable spot. He sighed, and glanced over towards the school building. Most the students had already reported inside, so there were very few outside. They only had a few minutes until the bell rang signifying the start of the school day.

"Get up." He ordered, holding out a hand to help her up. She glanced at it for a few seconds, blinked, and then turned away, a few blades of grass. He rolled his eyes, and tried reasoning with her. Seriously? Was now the time to throw a tantrum on how much she really didn't wan tot go to class? "We're going to be late."

"I know." She replied childishly, in a small voice. She puffed her cheeks out, pouting, and he couldn't help but think that she looked very much adorable. He quickly shook his thoughts off, and sighed. He nudged the unwilling girl, who just mumbled some incoherent words in a voice so small that he couldn't hear what she was saying.

"What?" He questioned, leaning in so that he could hear her clearly. Her eyebrows furrowed in irritation as she pouted at him, kicking her feet into the dirt of the ground.

"I'm going to skip class." She repeated. Nana smiled in satisfaction as though she had just done a good deed. He rolled his eyes and pulled himself up from the ground, turning his back on her. With a sigh, he began walking away, only to be stopped by a tug on his sleeve.

"Skip with me?" Nana pleaded, managing the cutest puppy dog eyes he had ever seen. Kyuhyun grumbled in irritation, but did as she had asked. He never really liked school much anyway, so what difference would it make. Aish...he never thought he'd see the day when Nana actually asked for his company. At least that was one good thing that came of this all...although earning a bad grade for skipping class wasn't his ideal scenario.

"Fine. But I'll only do this once. Just this one time." He emphasized with irritation, although there was a slight hint of joy in his tone. After all, Nana had just asked for him to be with her. It was a major improvement from their previous relationship. She nodded her head rapidly to show her clear understanding, although she knew she'd probably ignore this promise later. He slumped back down in his seat next to her, and glanced over at Nana.

"Alright!" She sang, clasping her hands together to break the silence. She leaned her head against the tree, staring up at all the leaves, before darting her gaze over towards Kyuhyun. "Tell me about all your problems and insecurities, and I will try my best to answer in responses that have more than one word and are actually somewhat beneficial!" She smiled cheerfully, as Kyuhyun shot her a strange look.

"What are you? My psychiatrist?" He muttered under his breath, "MiSun forced you to do this, didn't she?" Nana pouted, but slowly nodded her head. H sighed, knowing that there was no way Nana would ever actually care about how he was feeling or his problems. He wasn't anyone to her. He was just...as friend? He looked back at her, as she scooted closer to him.

"But I want to know too. I'm not just doing this for MiSun. I want to be a good friend who will help you with all your problems." She looked down towards her feet, her cheeks tinting a slight pink. "So if you ever need advice on anything at all, I want you to tell me everything. I want you to rely on me too. I know we've had our ups and downs, and we weren't exactly friends before, but now that we are we have to act like real friends."

He smiled and nodded. Kyuhyun couldn't help the fluttering warm feeling inside him at knowing that she actually cared.

"Then will you promise to listen without laughing or interrupting me?" He questioned, staring up at her. She nodded her head quickly, and gave him an eager look which made him want to laugh.

"Fine...but this is a pretty vague scenario." He cleared his throat to start explaining. "Let's say that there's this girl I like who doesn't exactly like me. In fact, she doesn't like me at all, but I think we're starting to get closer now. The thing is, she likes someone else. It wasn't until recently that I even realized I liked her even though I've probably been blindly in love with her all along. I used to make fun of her just because I liked having her attention on me. That's what little boys do when they like someone, right?"

Nana nodded her head in agreement, her ponytail bobbing from behind her. She eagerly glanced at Kyuhyun to continue, looking quite interested in his story. He almost wanted to laugh at how oblivious and dense she was. Part of him felt glad that she was this dense. She didn't know he was talking about her even though it was already this obvious.

"We have an alright relationship now, but my feelings are getting stronger, and it's really hard to hold back. I get jealous really easily, and I don't want her to like someone else, although I already know she does. I always try to avoid handing her over to others, but that gets me in really bad situations. I even lied to the guy she liked, and told him that I was her boyfriend, so that he wouldn't try to get close to her. I know I shouldn't be doing these things. I'm just getting in the way, but I can't help it. I don't want someone else to love her because I do."

"That's fine, Kyu." Nana chided in. She rested her head atop her knees as she listened carefully. "If you really like this girl, then you shouldn't let anything get in the way. You should probably clean up the whole mess of lies though, and tell everyone that they weren't true. Otherwise, everything will get messy. Then again..." She puffed her cheeks out in thought. He stared at her in wonder, amused just by watching her small cute little reactions. "Then the girl you like will be mad at you, right?"

"Hmm...what to do?" She thought aloud. "Maybe you should tell that girl how you feel. You never know until you try, right? I know this girl who likes two guys at once. But one guy she likes doesn't like her. He's really mean to her, and she knows he doesn't feel the same. Hmm...what should she do?"

"You told me not to give up. Shouldn't it be the same for you?" He questioned, although he felt a bit bitter at the fact that she now expressed her liking for another guy. Lovely. He now had another rival who he didn't even know. He couldn't help but smirk as her face went red, and she fell backwards in shock.

"M-Me?" She stuttered pointing to herself. "I-I don't know what you're talking about mister. I-I said I was talking about a friend! Not me!" He smirked, and laughed at her. She was just too easy to read. She huffed in annoyance, and her heels to leave. Noticing her lack of presence, he quickly jogged up to follow.

"Where are you going?" Kyuhyun asked, grinning at the embarrassed Nana. She pouted and murmured a quick response.

"I'm bored, so I'm going to go somewhere else." Nana answered. She glanced up at Kyuhyun quickly, blushed, then looked back down at the ground. "You can come if you want." She added, bashfully.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" He teased. What he wasn't expecting, was for her face to go bright red at the sudden statement. She opened , seemingly wanting to say something, but promptly shut it closed. Nana glanced up at him with beet red cheeks, and stared into his eyes.

"Whatever you want it to be."
