Drabble 04: Concert

Junmyeon smiled confidently at the cameras as EXO came out on to the Bird’s Nest Stadium stage to make their final bows. He felt disgustingly sweaty, tired, and dehydrated, but their performances had been really great, and so Junmyeon was still happy.

He smiled as Yi Fan walked across the stage towards him, and Junmyeon felt his heart soar when Yi Fan smiled back at him. Instinctively, he reached out from Yi Fan’s arm, sliding his hand down, and then squeezing Yi Fan’s fingers at the end.

Yi Fan’s eyes twinkled merrily at him, and the moment Junmyeon let go, he felt a surge of euphoric energy and began to jump up and down while waving his arms over his head.

Baekhyun laughed at him and patted him on the head when he stopped jumping. “The fans are going to start calling you Jun-bunny, not Junmyeon.”

Junmyeon flushed, but couldn’t help grinning up at Baekhyun. The entire group had done so well, and he was so full of pride and hope for better promotion of Exo-M in China, his feelings just kept bubbling out in positive energy.

Baekhyun ruffled his hair again, and then left to go talk to Chanyeol.

Later on, after getting in the car and letting his head fall on to Yi Fan’s shoulder, he would feel embarrassed that he displayed his happiness so openly. But for now, he still treasured the look of laughter and love that had been in Yi Fan’s eyes when their fingers had intertwined for a brief moment.
