Chapter 9: Find Us—Library Part 2

            CL and Dara had been at the door for hours. They realized that although it was their ultimate dream to be stuck with a handsome man over night, they couldn’t bare the awkwardness and silence.
             It was almost past 8:00pm and the girls were doing their very best to get out. Jiyong who sat on a chair, silently watched the girls bicker as they consistently went at the door. Every now and then he would tell them that what they were doing "didn’t work" or was "a stupid idea". He himself couldn’t contain his amusement with the girls but he hardly talked with them. He wasn’t the type who could easily open up. At this point he too felt awkward and felt a bit sad as he thought about how much he missed his friends in Korea. These girls reminded him too much about them. 

            "This ! It's a half day. We were supposed to be home right now chilling and relaxing not stuck at school in a library with no food!" Dara shouted, giving up until she saw CL picking up a few desks and placing it by the entrance.
            "CL? What are you doing?" Dara asked as she saw her best friend place a chair on top of a desk. Jiyong also looked up curiously to see what CL was doing his left eyebrow raising.

            CL climbed up on the desk and then stepped up on the chair. She reached above the door towards a window. Jiyong slowly got up and had a bad feeling about what was going on. "CL, be careful" he said unaware of the words that just came out of his mouth. CL heard his words and couldn’t help but feel a tinge of happiness by the fact that he cared. Now she had to try harder to get them out so that he would thank her.
            She stretched and pushed the window open when suddenly the chair she was standing on tilted to the left. CL felt the chair leave under her
