Chapter 11: Discovered

|Dara's Perspective|

            "Dara is that you?" I heard a voice call out. I groggily opened my eyes and saw Ms. Botelho—the librarian—staring down at me. I stifled a scream.
            "Child, what are you doing in here?" I sat up and remembered what happened last night.
            "CL, Jiyong, and I got locked in here" I told her as I noticed that I was wrapped up in a black hoodie. 'Isn't this Jiyong's?' I thought.
            "Oh dear lord, where is Jiyong and CL" she asked.
            "I don’t know. They are probably in here somewhere".

            I got up and started walking around with Ms. Botelho while holding on to the sweater. Through one of the bookcases I could vaguely see CL's bright blonde hair.
            "I think I found them" I told Ms. Botelho and led her towards them.
'How did they end up here?' I wondered. As I approached CL I saw her and Jiyong sitting beside each other both asleep.

They both held books too. CL was holding a classical novel while Jiyong was holding . . . a children's story book.

            "CL, Jiyong wake up now" said Ms. Botelho. Both of them opened their eyes and sat up.
            "Ms-" CL started but the librarian cut her off.
            "Dara already told me what happened. Thank god you all are alright" she sighed in relief. "For now, I want all of you to go home and come back after you have showered and eaten. I can't let you miss class so you have an hour to get back I suspect you should take off now to make it back for first period" she said as she checked her watch.
            "Yes Ms. Botelho" we all said.
As we finally exited the library I handed Jiyong his sweater back "Thanks for the sweater. By the way, why were you two on the other side of the library" I asked, full of curiosity.
