|Chaerin's Perspective|
Period one was one of the longest 72 minutes of my life. No matter how hard Kris tried to keep me distracted I couldn’t help but feel the intense heat of a stare come from behind me. I wasn’t even looking at him but from the inside I was melting like hot lava.
"Don’t worry, only two minutes until this class is over" Kris assured me his eyes gleaming in the classroom lights. I glumly nodded feeling extremely bad for dragging Kris into this mess.
"What do you have next?" Kris asked.
"I have Psychology" I responded as I glanced at my schedule to double check period 2.
"Perfect" Kris smiled as he pulled out his cell phone and texted away to someone.
"What's so perfect?" I wondered as Kris pressed the send button.
"Kai has Psychology right after. He's going to meet up with you and you two can go together. Although he's the last one I want around you. . . he will have to do."
"Yah Kris! I am not a baby who needs babysitting. I am pretty sure Kai has other friends he rather be around with" I quarreled when the bell suddenly rang.
"Too late he's already here" I looked to the door to find Kai leaning against the door frame a smirk plastered on his face.
Kris picked up my backpack from the floor and passed it to me.
"I'll see you during lunch" he said as he walked to Kai and whispered something to him. I tucked my chair behind my desk and grabbed my pencil case when one of my blue pens went flying out. I went to pick it up when another familiar hand appeared.
"Here" Jiyong passed the pen to me. I looked into his eyes and I was locked. I couldn’t help but stare. It was only seconds that I stood there but it felt like hours as I stared at his chocolate brown eyes.
Without another look I quickly took the pen and went zooming out the classroom to where Kai was standing. I almost stumbled into him if I hadn't stopped in time.
"Hey" Kai smiled. I smiled back but it didn’t come out the way I wanted it to . . . my whole body was shaking so I tried to control it as much as possible. I can't let small things like this get to me.
"Sorry to keep you waiting" I told him, "I'm also sorry Kris put you up to this job".
"Job?" Kai wondered as we went up to the third floor staircase.
"Yeah babysitting me. . ." I said and Kai laughed.
"Maybe to you it feels like that. I feel like I am getting to know a new friend" he said.
"Wow" I said surprised, "So you can be decent. I was expecting something y. It's my first time hearing something clean come out from you since I met you today" I admitted making Kai laugh again.
"I get that a lot . . . but," he leaned in closer. "This was one of those rare moments that you got to experience. I can't promise that I will stay this way".
"Yah I don’t care how you are going to stay as long as it doesn’t involve invading my personal space" I grimaced as I pushed Kai away who chuckled in return.
Entering the classroom, Kai and I headed to the back where we both sat in available seats. I urged Kai to go sit with his friends because all the girls in the glass were giving me the look of death. I had noticed it with Kris too. . . well actually with all of his friends. They seemed like th
