What My Heart Tells Me To DoChapter 17: Flowers
|Narrator's Perspective|
"That is Henry's last straw" CL said through gritted teeth as she placed an ice pack on the side of her head. Jiyong and Dara were laid out on CL's carpet going through some chemistry homework as CL went on and on about Henry.
"Jiyong, for this question would I use Boyle's law?" Dara asked pointing to question 14 in the textbook they were sharing.
"Yup, that's right" Jiyong told her as he read the question.
"Are you guys listening to me?"
"Yes CL, we heard you like a thousand times" Dara sighed.
"Fine, you guys keep working. I'm going to go take a shower. I feel like I have Henry germs everywhere" CL told them as she entered her bedroom and closed the door.

"Arrggghhh! Why do we have a chemistry test tomorrow? It's a Friday for pete's sake" Dara whined as she put her pencil down.
"What period do you have yours?" Jiyong asked Dara.
"First" Dara wailed.
"You'll do fine! You got almost all of them right" Jiyong told her as he glanced at her sheet.
"I hope so" Dara sighed.
"Why don't we take a break?" Jiyong asked.
"What should we do?" Dara wondered.
"I know," called CL as she came out of her bedroom. Immediately, Dara wished she never asked.
"Jiyong, I think it's best if we keep studying" Dara admitted as she stayed kneeling down on the carpet attempting to avoid what CL had in mind.
"Jiyong turn on the PS3 . . . let's play a bit of Resident Evil" CL smiled.
Jiyong smirked clearly amused by the idea.
"CL~~~ JIYOONG~~ HAJIMAA" Dara continued whining.
For a good two hours, both Jiyong and CL were at the game while Dara sat in the corner with ear muffs on trying to study.
"CL! Jiyong needs to study now!" Dara yelled over the loud speakers hoping Jiyong would agree with her, but no one listened.
Dara sat their sighing, but at the same time couldn’t help but smile. Normally, CL would never play games or watch horror movies as often as she does now because of how scared Dara would get, but because of Jiyong, she doesn’t have to stop herself from enjoying. Plus, Dara didn’t feel as scared as she usually would because she knows Jiyong and CL are both there for her.
After a few more minutes, Jiyong and CL decided to halt their playing and have some dinner. Jiyong sat on the bar stool by the counter and watched as the two girls decided to make some pasta. CL was wearing her usual tank along with sweat pants and her hair in a bun whereas Dara and Jiyong were still in their school clothes since they didn’t go home yet.
Jiyong couldn’t help but feel very happy that he met these two girls in Vancouver. He couldn’t imagine how it would have been if hadn't. They were both fun, charming, and attractive in their own way. He knew for sure his friends in Korea would agree with him.
The three of them spent the night together just enjoying each other's company as they ate dinner.

"The test was so easy" Dara said to CL as they walked back home after school without Jiyong since he had something to do. "Dara, nothing is ever hard for you" CL told her as they walked but they suddenly stopped when they saw a familiar figure w
