“Aish! That guy!” IU muttered under her breath, running to her next class. A stranger stole her last cookie, making her extremely hungry. Now I won’t be able to focus in class, IU thought sadly. Just then, she bumped into something strong. She yelped and fell on her bottom, dropping all her books away.

“Oh, I am so sorry!” a manly voice said. 

“Aish... It’s fine, I just--” Before IU was able to speak, the man began to pick up her books for her. IU stared at the mysterious boy who hid his face with a black hood. Once the man was finished picking up her book, he handed them to IU. IU got up and collected her books from the man.

“Bye,” the boy said, walking away. 

“W-Wait!” IU shouted, turning around to the boy. The boy stopped, but did not turn around.

“Hm?” he asked, putting his hands in his pockets.

“W-What’s your name?” IU asked. The boy turned around and gave IU a small smile.

“Wooyoung,” he revealed, removing his hood. IU gasped, remembering that cute boy earlier at homeroom. She couldn’t help but blush nervously.

“O-Oh, well, um--” Before she was going to finish, the bell had rung. She muttered something to herself and bid a good-bye to the boy, as she ran to class. Aw come on! I didn’t even get to introduce myself! IU thought, slapping herself mentally. When she arrived to class, she saw a group of students crowding at the corner of the room. She tied her hair up into a high ponytail as she approached the crowd.

“Excuse me! Thank you, sorry!” she said, as she went deeper into the scene. She could hear music, as she continued to go deeper. What’s going on? IU thought as she finally popped her head into the circle. She gasped, seeing Seung Ri there.

Seung Ri continued to dance without notice of her. He grabbed a random rose and placed it in his mouth, dancing with a girl dressed in black. IU held her breath, for his dance was a breath-taking moment. I wish I was that girl, IU thought, watching every move Seung Ri did.

Suddenly, Seung Ri threw his flower in the air, catching it back in his mouth. Girls squealed and screamed his name, as he began to smirk. The boys, on the other hand, just rolled their eyes. IU giggled to herself, as she went out of the crowded circle.

When IU finally got out of the circle, she began to do some stretches. When she touched her shoulder, she remembered the bite Thunder had left. She bit her lower lips and turned to the crowd. Then, she shook her head, focusing on her stretch. No, I can’t do this. I can’t ask a vampire for help, IU thought, as she continued to stretch. Once she was done stretching, she just sat on the bench, waiting for the teacher to arrive. Where is the teacher? IU thought nervously. She now felt left alone. She looked back to the crowd. No, I can’t be those fangirls, especially to a vampire! IU reminded, as she frowned at the thought of vampires.

“Well, hello again!” a familiar voice greeted as the figure sat next to her. IU’s heart began to thump faster, as she slowly looked up, realizing that voice. She blushed when she saw his face.

“I-It’s nice to see you, too,” IU said quietly, as she looked away. Wooyoung chuckled and lifted IU’s chin up.

“What’s the matter? Scared to go in the crowd?” Wooyoung asked, smiling. IU reddened as she shook her head.

“A-Ani! I just went there, anyways,” IU protested. Wooyoung chuckled again, looking straight into IU’s sparkling eyes. IU couldn’t help but blush deeper.

“You can’t lie to me! I saw you looking at that crowd. How about if I go with you then, hm?” Wooyoung offered. IU quickly shook her head.

“A-A-Aniyo! I-I don’t want to,” IU mumbled. Wooyoung laughed and leaned against a railing near the bench.

“Come on! You looked so tempted,” Wooyoung winked, making IU’s heart beat faster. Aish! Come on, think of something! IU thought. But just looking at Wooyoung’s face made her thoughts stop. Suddenly, another person sat besides her.

“Annyeong!” Seung Ri greeted with a smile. IU couldn’t help but smile back.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Seung Ri-ssi,” IU greeted, doing a small bow. Wooyoung smirked and sat next to IU. Now, IU was between Seung Ri and Wooyoung. This made her feel uncomfortable.

“Hey, Seung Ri, you got yourself another fan,” Wooyoung joked, nudging IU. IU gasped and blushed.

“I-It’s a lie!” IU protested, as Seung Ri laughed. Then, Seung Ri ran his fingers through IU’s smooth, long hair, making her blush lighter. 

“Don’t worry, I have lots of fans, anyways. But I could sure use a singing partner. Can you sing?” Seung Ri asked, smiling. IU shook her head.

“No, I can’t sing. My parents don’t think I can sing,” IU said sadly. Seung Ri smirked.

“Well, maybe when I hear you sing, we can be singing partners,” Seung Ri winked as he got up. Once IU saw him busy again, she held tightly to Wooyoung’s hand. His cold, freezing hand. IU expected that if he was a vampire, he would snatch his hand away. However, he stayed. He allowed IU to touch his hand.

“Your hands are, well, pretty cold!” IU pointed out, warming them up. Wooyoung blushed lightly, but he couldn’t move.

“Well, yeah, I haven’t kept my hands warm or anything,” Wooyoung said a bit too quickly, putting his hands in his pockets. When he was about to turn around, IU grabbed his arm.

“Wait!” she shouted. Wooyoung turned around to her.

“Can you help me sing?” IU asked, embarrassed. Wooyoung raised an eyebrow.

“What do you mean?” Wooyoung asked.

“I want to sing with Seung Ri. In order to do that, I need someone to help me. You seem like a pretty good singer. So, I was wondering if you can help me improve my singing abilities and all,” IU explained. Wooyoung looked at busy Seung Ri, and then back at IU. He smiled a little and nodded. IU squealed, planning the date of their meetings. However, Wooyoung wasn’t listening. He was staring at IU the whole time, for he felt comfortable near her.
