Chapter 9 A Dream, A promise and the flight out

Yoona and Yuri were fast asleep. Yuri was simply too tired from her long and fun filled day with Sooyoung. Yoona on the other hand was exhausted from packing her things. Jessica, Tiffany and her will bid farewell to their lives in America and return to Korea. For Yoona and Yuri it is something they will do for the first time. Both had never been to Korea. Yoona called America home and Yuri called Japan home. It was bitter sweet for them to leave everything behind but they knew they had to; in order for them to move on and start living their lives. They were deep asleep and drifted off to their dreamland.

Yoonyul’s Dream

Yoona heard the sound of a plane taking off she looked around and could vaguely make out her surroundings. She noticed that the entire terminal and the everywhere else in the airport were empty. As if it was completely abandoned.

“This is strange, how can this whole place be deserted?” Yoona asked herself as she walked around further exploring the airport.

Then another noise coming from a plane that landed echoed through the entire airport. Moments later Yoona got startled when she saw a familiar figure walking out through a door from different terminal. Her eyes widened when she saw her long jet black hair, her black pearly eyes and the unmistakable curve of her hips.

“Yah!!! My beautiful goddess~ please wait!?” Yoona called out to her and started to run frantically towards the mysterious girl.

Yuri turned around and saw her beautiful doe eyed angel chasing after her. She is at the door by the time Yoona caught up with her. Yoona reached for Yuri’s hand and as soon as she was able to intertwine her hand with Yuri’s hand the door opened they were engulfed in a pure white light. They heard each other ask questions.

“Who are you??”

“Why do I see you in my dreams???”

“Why do I feel so much better whenever I see your face?”

These questions continued to echo inside Yoona and Yuri’s mind. The light that engulfed both of them started to fade. Yuri looked around and to her surprise the doe eyed angel who held her hand was gone.

“Where are you my beautiful angel?” Yuri looked around her hoping that the doe eyed is close by.

Yuri noticed she is standing in front of a Sakura tree and behind it was a bench and a small pond that was teeming with life; there were ducks and swans swimming around the pond. Yuri looked behind her and saw a field of flowers, there were red and white rose bushes, tulips, pink carnations and daffodils as far as her eyes could see.

“No matter how beautiful this place is, only your presence can make it all perfect..” Yuri sighed and was disappointed her angel wasn’t around and is nowhere to be found.

“Wait.. where am I? Where is she?”  Yoona looked around and was disappointed she lost the girl she was with a while ago.

Yoona noticed that she was in a park, then a path that led to a clearing caught her attention. She followed the path and was blinded for a moment due to the bright sunlight.

“Aw! So~ bright!” Yoona couldn’t help but close her eyes.

She opened her eyes and saw a field of flowers and from a distance there was a beautiful Sakura tree. Yoona began walking towards the tree but the wind blew gently and sent the pink sakura petals flying around. Yoona is stunned and couldn’t help but admire the beautiful scenery. After admiring and taking in the beautiful view, Yoona started to walk towards the Sakura tree again, as she got closer to the tree she noticed a pond behind it. She also caught a glimpse of a shadow of a figure that was sitting on a bench behind the Sakura tree.

Yoona felt her heart beat faster at every step and she was panting as well. She knew in her heart that the person sitting there could only be her Black pearl eyed Goddess. Yoona wasn’t disappointed, there she was, her Venus, her Aphrodite, A beauty so other worldly.. so perfect in every conceivable way.

Yuri was staring at the pond; she didn’t notice that someone was sitting beside her. Suddenly she felt someone’s hand intertwined with hers. She looked at the hand then at person sitting beside her.

“Angel… My Angel” these were the only words that escaped Yuri’s mouth as she was apparently stunned to see the person she was dying to see. Yuri looked into Yoona’s eyes and Yoona did the same. They were lost in each other’s gaze.

“I know this is a dream” Yoona held Yuri’s hand “But it feels so real”

“Yes this is a dream… but” Yuri looked at Yoona “I know you’re real as I am real”

Yoona smiled as she heard what Yuri said. “Yoona…. My name is Yoona by the way”

“Yuri… Your Yuri” Yuri showed her cute eye smile and smiled brightly for Yoona.

“I'll come and find you... no matter how long... no matter how far...” Yoona promised Yuri.

“I'll be waiting..... I’ll be right here waiting for you… My Yoona, My Angel” Yuri kissed Yoona’s hand then clasped her hand tightly.

Yoona and Yuri continued to hold each other’s hand as Yoona rested her head on Yuri’s shoulder. Soon the sun turned crimson and faded away, just as the sun gave out it’s final light Yuri and Yoona’s dream ended.

End of dream

Yoona woke up and smiled “My Yuri…. I promise I’ll find you and be with you” Yoona clearly remembered last night’s dream. She got up from her bed and hopped into the shower. She was fully aware that she would be leaving with Tiffany and Jessica today.

Meanwhile in Japan

As usual Taeyeon was busy in the kitchen and as for Sooyoung, she looked like a zombie; she crapped so much that she was sleepless the entire night. She just slumped into the couch and didn’t do anything other than try and get some sleep.

“Good morning Tae! Good morning Soo!” Yuri gleamed with so much energy, last night’s dream was still fresh in her mind.

“Omo! Soo what happened to you?” Yuri was worried at their shikshin.

“That evil shorty ahjumma… ughh.. She added some laxative in the sandwich and juice I had last night..” Sooyoung’s face was in horror as she recounted what happened last night.

“You should have known not to mess with her Soo..” Yuri patted Sooyoung’s head and went to the kitchen.

“Tae~ great job! *wink*” Yuri high fived Taeyeon in the kitchen and giggled at Taeyeon’s dorky smug face.

“Oh, Yul you’ve already packed your things right?” Taeyeon asked Yuri hoping she followed her instructions.

“Dae! Did that already Tae, I packed my bags since last week” Yuri replied nonchalantly and took a seat and started eating breakfast.

“That’s great Yul, I knew you would listen to me” Taeyeon knew well enough that Yuri always listened to her.

“Yul, my mother had already made arrangements for us to fly back to Korea aboard our private jet tomorrow morning.” Taeyeon proudly said with her hands on her hips.

“Really??? A private jet!? Kyaa~ I’ve always wanted to ride on a private jet” Yuri said with aegyo and started squealing like a choding.

Taeyeon just smiled at Kwon choding, and then she joined her and started eating breakfast as well.

Back in America

“Okay everything is in order and all our luggages are checked in already” Jessica proclaimed and clapped her hands.

“Gee, Jess seeing you like this really is amazing, I hardly see you like this kekeke~” Yoona smiled like an alligator seeing Jessica all dorky. It was pretty rare to see Jessica like that.

“Yah! Im Choding I’m gonna pound your head when I get my hands on you!” Jessica started to chase Yoona.

“Stop this dorkfest girls, we need to go to gate 8 now! Our plane is boarding already.” Tiffany crossed her arms and couldn’t believe her best friends are really dorks.

Yoona\and Jessica stopped playing around and went with Tiffany to board their plane.

They made their way to the area where first class passengers are seated. Minutes later their plane took off and they are now on their way to Korea.
