I saw Sohee the next morning in the locker room, she looked shocked to be honest and I was glad that I had managed to put her in her place but when I went to move to my own locker I was surprised to see Jongin leaning up against the locker next to mine.

Chanyeol frowned and looked down at me with a raised eyebrow “One wrong move and you let me know okay?”

“It’s not like I can take care of myself or anything.” I said moving away from them and moving to my locker, opening it so that I shielded Jongin’s face from view.

He moved to the other side with an amused grin on his face “Good morning to you too.”

“What do you need Jongin?” I asked, cutting to the chase as I packed my things away.

He shrugged “I thought you were cute before you know?” He gave me that signature lop sided grin everyone swooned over and I snorted “Oh come on Mira, we both know what I’m getting at.”

“An easy ticket to an early grave apparently,” I closed my locker with an amused look on my face “Sorry Jongin but I’m just not interested.” I walked off towards my first class of the day.

Jongin jogged to catch up to me “Oh wow, you’re turning me down?” He blinked in surprise “I’m so shocked. I honestly thought all girls wanted a shot with me,” The look on his face told me he was joking “Anyway want to hang out after school?”

“Not really,” I said as I stopped outside of my classroom “I already have four annoying people in my life Jongin I don’t need another one.”

“Talking about me already?” Sehun appeared, slinging an arm over Jongin’s shoulders “My ears were burning.”

“See?” I gave Jongin a look and he sighed with a shrug “I can only handle so many idiots.”

“Not even as friends?” Jongin asked and I came to a standstill, blinking at him with surprise just as Sehun did.

“Seriously?” I asked him and he nodded “Did you hit your head?”

“No,” Jongin frowned “I like to think we’re closer than that.”

I shrugged “I’ll think about it. I’ll see you guys at lunch.” I spun around and headed into my classroom, leaving them both stood there puzzled as I took my seat.

                I was highly amused at lunch to learn that today was soccer try-outs and after we had all inhaled our food at the dinner table, before Jongin or Sehun could slow us down we ran to the bleachers and sat on the very front row watching the soccer team warm up as the newbies walked out onto the pitch.
