I had issues, issues that lived either side of me and I’d even go as far as stating that one of my issues lived in the bedroom at the end of the hall too. My brother was a year older than me and always had a good way of socialising with people, he could probably befriend anyone.

                Which is why I have two other issues in the shape of both of my neighbours terrible sons who like to every once in a while invade on my life. They were my age, in my year at high school so they liked to bug me a lot when they couldn’t bug my brother, which resulted in a lot of fights and a couple broken windows as well as pieces of furniture.

I jumped off the last step and could hear a commotion coming from the Kitchen. Curiosity always got the best of me and I poked my head around the door in time to see one of our neighbours – Baekhyun, shoving as many marshmallows into his mouth as humanely possible.

I leant against the door frame and snorted “Ten if you can say ‘Chanyeol’s an idiot’.” Chanyeol narrowed his eyes at me, he was our other neighbour and had a growth spurt over the years which made him tower over everyone.

Baekhyun beamed, showing the mushy marshmallows before he attempted to say the line, except it sounded nothing like what I had actually asked him to say and Chanyeol, as well as myself and my brother – Jongdae burst out laughing.

Jongdae shook his head as he looked at me “What are you up to today?”

I shrugged, moving to the fridge to pull out a bottle of water “Probably nothing. What about you?”

“Probably find more things to find these two to do,” Jongdae shrugged back at me with a sly smile on his face that indicated I should get in on that offer “Want to join?”

                I thought about it as I watched Baekhyun pick up a handful of marshmallows and try to force them into Chanyeol’s excessively large mouth and I found myself nodding because why not?

“Count me in,” I moved to the cupboard above the cooker and opened it, pulling out the sauce in mind I slammed it down in front of the pair of idiots and smirked at them “Care to take it up a notch?”

“Sure,” Chanyeol slurred with a mouthful of pre-chewed marshmallows “You first.”

I plucked one of them from the packet and flicked the lid off the tabasco sauce, putting a generous amount on the top before popping it into my mouth. The trick was to make sure it never touched your tongue so I shoved it into my cheek and chewed on it. Sure, it was still spicy but not nearly as spicy it would have been if it had actually touched my tongue.

I swallowed it with a wink “Easy.”

“You don’t play fair,” Baekhyun said pulling another out and doing the same as I just had, instead he had placed it right on h
