Chapter Ten:
Change.The Lampost;
It was actually a lot more hilarious when the soccer team announced we should go grab something to eat because when we stepped outside the wind brushed half of the sticky notes off them and that’s when they finally noticed.
They were confused and for a few minutes so was Baekhyun and Jongdae until they turned to look at our small group. They knew it was us the second we burst out laughing, most of them just grunted and continued on but Gongchan fell behind.
He got into step alongside me as the other three took off in front to explain to Jongdae the rules “So what do I win?”
I frowned at him “How do you know that there was something to win?” I questioned although it was probably obvious.
“The determination that someone had into sticking one onto Yifan for starters,” Gongchan was better than I gave credit for “So what was it?”
“The loser has to do whatever the winner wanted.” I answered reluctantly and honestly the look that spread on Gongchan’s face told me that he already figured it was something like that and already had something in mind.
Gongchan brought his fingers up to his face, tapping his chin at the thought “What do I want you to do?” He eyed me from his peripheral with a cheeky grin on his face. He turned to look at me fully, his face turning serious for a moment or two before a soft smile spread across his face “Go on a date with me.”
Usually people just blush at a declaration like that but me on the other hand? I had to full on walk into a lamppost. The bang that came off it was enough to have everyone turn around as I held my face with shock and also it kind of hurt a lot.
Gongchan laughed whilst everyone else looked puzzled and he gave me a wink before running off to join Yifan at the front of the group, leaving me jogging to catch up to Chanyeol, Sehun and Jongin who were giving me a puzzled look.
“I didn’t walk into the lamppost,” I defended as I put my hands up “It walked into me.”
