Forty-One:
Change.
I did actually manage to spot Chanyeol since Thursday, he actually was sporting two black eyes and I had heard from Jongin that the second was from Jongdae and that Chanyeol wasn’t bitter over it but had expected much worse from Jongdae, he was more shocked at Sehun.
No one mentioned my father or what happened between him and Jongdae but when Saturday came around and I heard my bedroom door creak open, I knew it wasn’t my grandmother because she’d always knock.
That and I’d be able to smell her perfume from the other side of the door.
“Go away.” I groaned into my pillow, reaching the blanket up and over my head.
“Not bloody likely,” Jongdae had successfully yanked the quilt from me, wafting cold air and making me jolt at the sudden force “Jesus Christ Mira. I’m really glad that Jongin’s window isn’t next to yours if you decide to go to bed dressed like that.”
I shot up and shot him an annoyed look “Personally I prefer my curtains closed at night and what I wear is of no business to you so give me the god damn quilt.” I shot my hand out, demanding for the quilt back.
“Yeah, no,” Jongdae shook his head and dropped it at his feet “I’m here to talk to you.”
“Jongdae I really don’t want to.” I scowled at him.
Jongdae jumped onto the end of the bed and tucked his feet beneath him “Not about dad. I’m not ready to talk about that yet. I’m on about Chanyeol.”
I groaned and stood up, moving to pick up my quilt “I really don’t want to discuss that either.”
“Look Mira,” He grabbed my arm and pulled me to sit on the end of the bed with a huff “What he did – what’s that look for?” he narrowed his eyes at me.
“I know you gave him one of his black eyes.”
