I found that sitting next to Sehun in the first lesson of the day wasn’t as bad as sitting in front of Baekhyun in my second lesson. Sehun spent most of the lesson telling me about how he was going to try to make most of the year which meant he was going to try to do one thing and then give up like he usually did.

                Baekhyun on the other hand expressed over and over about how his rejection this morning was part of a trial and error and that he hadn’t given up yet which had me palming my own face until there was a red mark on my cheek.

At lunch I was tackled from behind by my one and only female friend, Ari. “I swear to you right now that this year is our year.” She swore the same thing every single year.

I laughed as I made my way to our usual table and sat down; shrugging her off me “I doubt it.”

“Your negativity brings me down,” She sat down next to me and sighed “It’s my goal to get a boyfriend this year.”

I choked on my drink and it shot out of my nose, my hand coming up to clasp it as I stared at her with shock “Warning would have been highly appreciated.”

“Hey Mira somethings leaking from your face.” Chanyeol smirked as he sat down opposite.

Baekhyun snorted as he took the seat next to him “What’s the joke?”

“No joke,” Ari said as she passed me a napkin which I was overly grateful for “I was just telling Mira what I wanted to do this year.”

Baekhyun slammed his hand down on the table and jabbed a finger at me “I tried the same thing this morning and these idiots laughed at me.”

“We’re always laughing at you,” Sehun appeared behind Baekhyun, slapping him upside the head before taking the seat next to him “But why now?”

“Baekhyun’s going to try out for soccer.” Chanyeol aired, looking over at Sehun for the right reaction.

And he did not disappoint. He stared at Baekhyun for a few seconds before his face contorted and he let out silent snickers “O-Oh boy.”

“Oh screw you.” Baekhyun rolled his eyes.

Ari reached over and grabbed Baekhyun’s hand with a stern expression on her face “I support you!”

“Ari!” Baekhyun grabbed her hand with a pout “My only friend.”

                Chanyeol nudged me with his foot and we both burst out laughing, making the pair pull apart and roll their eyes as even Sehun began to laugh.

Jongin – who was probably one of the most popular out of all of us, wrapped his arms around Sehun’s neck from behind “Hey guys,” He gave us all a look as Sehun struggled against Jongin’s grip “Coming out for a kick about Sehun?”
