A day had passed and all I have done is to lock myself in my room. I shouldn’t be like this right? In the first place, it was me who gave up on her. It was me who accepted the marriage between Sulli and me but that’s because I thought it was the right thing to do. It was all thanks to Sulli that she decided not to continue the wedding.

But still…

Why does it have to be like this?

If the wedding really happened that day, it’s over between the two of us.

But why now that things are back to normal, I can’t still have her?

I know, I still have a chance.

We still have a chance to be together.

I can’t stay like this for the rest of my life. If I want to win her back, I should do something and not just lock myself in the four corners of my room. I took a bath and fix myself. I decided to come to _____’s house. I know, she’s not there but talking to her parents might help me right?..

Mrs. Hwang was quite surprised to see me. Well, you can’t blame her, I shouldn’t be right here after I heard that _______ already left to study abroad.

“Oh~ Taeminnie… What brings you here?” Mrs. Hwang asked.

“I just wanted to talk to you Mrs. Hwang.”

“Is that so? Then come in first.”

“Arasso” I said then we went inside their house.

“So…what do you want to talk about?” she asked.

“Is it okay if I asked you where the exact location of ________ is? I… I want to see her.”

“I’m sorry Taemin but I think it will be better if you’ll not bother her anymore. To tell you honestly, she just called a few minutes ago telling that she already arrived in Massachusetts and she’s doing fine. I’m not blaming you, but you have caused enough trouble to my daughter. She was hurt. You hurt her. If you really love her, just let her achieve her dreams. Maybe, right now, isn’t the right time for you to be together.”

I sighed. “ Arasso. But I’m going to wait Mrs. Hwang. I will.”

“If that’s what you want… but don’t waste your time by just waiting. Fix yourself first. Prioritize your future because if you’re really meant for each other, you’ll be together.”

“Okay~ I guess I’ll study hard so that by the time that ______ comes back, I can be the right and perfect man for her.

She smiled. “But don’t make yourself look like a nerd; you’re too handsome to be a nerd.”

“I really like you Mrs. Hwang, you always make me smile and you’re still nice to me even if I hurt _____.”

“It’s not your fault after all so why would I be mad at you? Things just became complicated and too difficult for you to handle and I’m happy that everything is back to normal now.”

“Yeahh…Normal but incomplete.”

She patted my shoulder lightly. “Hardships are normal in life but once you have surpassed all of it I know, you’ll be living happily again. It might be fate who pulled the both of you apart but it’ll be fate that will pull you to be together again.”
