Making Up and Making Out

Breaking Boundaries

Jackie’s POV

It had always been unfair to Yiyun when it comes to love and as her sister, I’m more than willing to help her find the happiness she never had. Yiyun had mentioned only a few girls to me since she was in middle school but only one name had caught my attention. It was the first girl she asked to be her girlfriend, the girl she proposed to in Busan, the girl who happened to be Jessica’s sister. Her name is Krystal Jung.

FLASHBACK

“Young miss, young master Yiyun came just now.”

How can that kid be here when she’s supposed to attend a wedding in Seoul?

“Are you sure it’s Yiyun, Ms. Jang?”

“Yes, young miss. I saw her with my own eyes.”

Now what the hell is she doing here? She should have just taken care of the Japanese investors’ vacation in Haeundae when I have a lot of work to do in Shanghai! That kid. Tsk.

“By any chance, do you know who came with Yiyun?”

“Young master came with a very pretty girl, young miss. She looked like her girlfriend but they entered two separate rooms.”

Girlfriend? How come Yiyun hasn’t told me about a new one? Or is it the same girl?

“Is it a y girl who constantly gives off creepy stares?” And when the employee nodded, I sort of had a hint of who that girl was. “Okay. Is her hair blonde or jet black?”

“Long jet black hair, young miss.”

END OF FLASHBACK

The employee’s description of the girl who came with my sister fitted perfectly to Yiyun’s description herself of the girl she loved the most and loved her in return. How they broke up? I had no idea and I didn’t bother asking Yiyun about it; I knew she didn’t want to talk about it either. But I was so sure that the deal she made with our dad was the root of it all. A misunderstanding might have ruined them knowing that my sister has this habit of jumping into conclusions easily (it runs in the family by the way) but she just decided to move on, with her friend Yuri’s advice of course.

“Young master came with three people, young miss. The newlywed couple in the name of Nichkhun and Victoria Horvejkul are checked in at VIP6 and Krystal Jung in VIP2. Young master is in VIP1 as usual,” Mr. Kim, the hotel manager reported to me. “And she asked some employees to move the couch out of the room for unknown reason.”

“What about the bed?”

“She’s asking them to move it out too.”

“Tell the employees not to touch the bed. My sister is just being childish.”

I knew exactly why Yiyun was acting like that; she’s still on the process of moving on and that room is somehow memorable to them. Now that Krystal Jung is in the room right next to Yiyun’s, I just couldn’t stand here knowing that a mere wall was just separating my sister from her happiness.

“Yixing, Yiyun just made the plan easier. Make sure they’ll spend the night in each other’s arms.”

Amber’s POV

“We’re worried that you won’t be able to sleep comfortably if we take out that bed, young master. It is the hotel management’s priority to make you comfortable as long as you’re in the hotel’s premises,” the hotel manager told me and seriously he was getting into my nerves.

“Mr. Kim, I will be more comfortable if you move this bed out too or you might as well move me into a new room. I won’t mind if it’s a normal suite as long as it’s not this room,” I replied impatiently. How can I stay in this room if it’s the same room where Krystal and I made love for the first time? I already asked them to move the couch out, the couch where it all started, and they willingly complied without questions, why don’t they just do the same with the bed? *sigh*

“I’m sorry but the hotel’s fully booked since yesterday. If you don’t want to stay in this room, we will just ask your friend in VIP2 to exchange rooms with you.”

Exchange rooms? No. Krystal will have an idea how I feel uncomfortable with this room. She might think that I’m not over her yet. Aish.

“Never mind, I’ll stay here. Forget about the stupid bed.” I’d rather stay here and sleep on the floor than give Krystal a hint of my feelings for her until now.

As soon as Mr. Kim left with two other employees, I went straight to the bathroom for a cold shower. I just let the water trickle down my body, hoping that it would flush the remaining Krystal virus in my system. But I just ended up thinking of Krystal who just looked even more gorgeous after two years. Did our break up do that good to her?

“Amber Liu, you didn’t have a break up. You can always claim her as yours until now,” I mumbled to myself as I shampoo my hair. A little hope always lights up from my heart every time I think of it that way but as usual, the scene of Krystal and that guy happily dating popped up again.

“No, Krystal cheated on you. She dated someone else behind your back. It means that it was over for Krystal two years ago. You can’t think about of that cheater anymore,” I told myself. You might call me crazy for giving myself some hope and killing that hope at the same time.

After fifteen more minutes of mumbling stupid things about Krystal, I finally dried myself with a towel and put a white robe on. But as soon as I stepped out of the shower, I was greeted by a pair of cold eyes that turned the summer season to winter. The person I was just thinking about earlier came to life and I blinked more than once, thinking that I was just hallucinating but it was really Krystal Jung sitting on the left side of the bed.

“Y-Yah, what are you doing? H-how did you get in here?” I found myself trembling when our eyes met, good thing that I managed to compose myself and keep it cool. Krystal seemed so tired but she still looked beautiful as usual.

No, she’s ugly. Ugly ugly ugly ugly.

“An employee told me that there must be some misunderstanding with the reservation and my room was reserved for the hotel’s owner. He asked me to share the room with you instead,” Krystal replied and waved the key card at me.

Share the same room? Do you want to kill me, Krystal Jung?

“Who’s that employee? I will to talk to him instead,” I asked her coolly. I will kill him for setting this up! Or thank him and give a promotion instead?

Krystal seemed to wonder a little and began rolling her eyes cutely. “Let’s see. Hmm. He’s a cute guy in his early twenties—

“Skip the cute guy part. I don’t care if he’s good-looking or what.” Cute guy, huh? Then I will fire all good-looking guys in this hotel!

“Well, he has this cute Chinese accent and—

“There’s nothing cute with a Chinese accent!” I snapped at her. Seriously, Krystal Jung! Do you really find that guy employee attractive?

“Aish. Why is this dork being angry all of a sudden when she has this cute Chinese accent too?” I heard Krystal mumble to herself and I felt myself blush. “And his name is Zhang Yixing.”

Zhang Yixing? Zhang Yixing! That idiot, how come he’s here?! How can he set me up with Krystal when he knew the whole story all along?! And what cute?! Damn, I really have to kill that guy!

“Amber, where are you going? It’s past two in the morning already,” I heard Krystal told me when I motioned towards the door. “Yah, you can’t roam around with just a bath robe on!”

But I didn’t listen to her. I had to kill Yixing for making everything even more difficult for me and for seducing Krystal, of course!

Let’s see who’s cuter between us after I beat that guy into a pulp. Tss.

I turned the knob to open the door but it seemed that something’s wrong with it. I pulled it for a couple of times more but the door couldn’t be opened.

You’re so dead, Zhang Yixing!

Krystal’s POV

I didn’t know if it was just a mere coincidence or it was actually destiny that brought Amber and me on the same place where we shared our ‘first’ together. It turned out that the newlyweds booked their room at Eastbrook Hotel Busan too. That made it even awkward. I knew at one corner of Amber’s mind, she could remember what this place meant to us.

But who am I kidding? Amber said it from her own lips that I’m not that important to her anymore!

“You know she just said those words because she doesn’t want to admit that she still has some feelings for you. But stupid Amber just made it more obvious,” Vic unnie whispered to me before she left with Nichkhun oppa for their room.

For the past two years, Vic unnie remained as our number one supporter, but how come she didn’t set me up in a room with Amber?! “Aish, I thought she’s going to help me out!”

*dingdong*

I jumped out of my bed excitedly when I thought that it might be Amber but the door did not reveal the person I wanted to see. I felt disappointed at first when it turned out to be just another hotel employee but in the end, I wanted to give him a hug for delivering such wonderful news.

“Good midnight, Ms. Jung. I’m Zhang Yixing, secretary to the hotel’s president. I’m sorry to tell you that this room was reserved for the president since yesterday and we have to transfer you to the next room,” the handsome employee told me in his broken Korean and prominent Chinese accent. He handed me a key card with VIP1 on it and my heart jumped out of joy when I read VIP1 written on it. That’s Amber’s room right now and the same room where we first made love to each other!

“Oh, is that so? I’ll move out of this room then,” I replied, trying to avoid plastering an evil grin.

“Again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience, Ms. Jung,” the employee told me and escorted me to VIP1.

“It’s actually more convenient, Mr. Zhang.” A naughty idea then popped up in my mind as soon as we reached the VIP1 door. “Is it possible to lock this door from outside? I have to tame a llama inside that room. I’m afraid she will run away from me again.”

The Chinese employee smiled. “Of course, it’s all part of our plan.”

“What plan?”

“Oh, it’s nothing. Enter the room now, Ms. Jung. I’ll lock you up overnight,” he told me and I was surprised that the employee looked more excited than me that he pushed me inside the room as soon as I opened it. “Good luck, Ms. Jung! Fighting!” And he closed the door himself.

I was expecting to see Amber sleeping but the bed that we once shared was clean. I actually panicked when I didn’t see her there but my heart was put at ease when I heard water gushing from the bathroom. The room still looked the same; it was still as luxurious as ever. However, there seemed to be something missing. No matter how much I looked for it, it really was nowhere to be found inside the room. The couch where it all started, it wasn’t there anymore. *sigh*

Good thing that the bed was still there, the bed where I first surrendered myself to Amber. I sat on the edge of it and felt its softness. It was screaming all the memories I shared with Amber on it. I couldn’t help but feel bitter; I should have explained myself to her two years ago. She should have given me the chance to fix everything as early as possible. Why did that chance come only two years later? Is it too late for us already?

The bathroom door opened and it revealed my y llama in a white bath robe. I admit, Amber’s wet look for a lot of times already but as if I could think of making out already when we haven’t even make up yet. Amber’s expression when she saw me was really funny.

“Y-Yah, what are you doing? H-how did you get in here?”

I tried to contain my laugh when she stuttered in front of me. It was a proof that I still had this effect on Amber. As expected, she made me explain how I ended up in a room with her and who gave me the key card to enter. Jealousy was plastered all over her face when I described Zhang Yixing as a cute guy; I love the jealous Amber Liu, she just looked so adorable. And again, it was a proof that this llama loves me too.

“Amber, where are you going? It’s past two in the morning already,” I told her but she didn’t listen to me and just marched towards the door, still wearing that jealous expression of hers. “Yah, you can’t roam around with just a bath robe on!”

“Damn it! Why is it locked?! Krystal! Help me here!”

Omo! Zhang Yixing did lock me up with Amber! *evil laughs*

“Amber, I’m too tired to care! I’ll sleep on the bed and you sleep wherever you want!” I yelled back before I slipped under the blankets and cuddled the pillows on the bed. Just in time, I felt Amber’s footsteps and she got back on the spacious bedroom and stood in front of the bed.

“Who told you that you can sleep there? Yah, get up. You can’t sleep there with me,” she protested and pulled the blankets off from my curled body.

“You’re no gentleman, how can you treat me this way?” I snapped back at her. “Fine, I’ll sleep on the floor. You’re not supposed to share the room with me anyway.” I gathered two pillows and pulled a blanket before preparing a bed on the floor.

“Fine, you can sleep on the bed!” the llama retorted and began making up a bed on the floor too but on the other side instead, the bed we were fighting for was separating the two of us. Amber turned the lights off and the room was filled with total darkness.

If we’re not going to share the bed, I’d rather sleep on the floor too. “Stupid Amber Liu, you really love making everything difficult for us,” I mumbled to myself as I tucked myself under the blanket on the rock hard carpeted floor.

“What did you say?”

“I said good night!” I couldn’t help but yell at her this time. No matter how much I gave Amber a hint of my feelings, she would always push me away and treat me coldly. Did I really make the right choice of fighting for this llama? Do I really stand a chance now that she’s treating me this way?

No, Amber loves you. You felt it in her kiss earlier. You just have to clear her mind. Two years is enough, you can’t let her go again this time. It’s now or never, Krystal Jung.

With the way Amber was avoiding me, this might be the last night that we could spend together. So I gathered all the courage to tell her the words I had always wanted to tell her for so long.

“I’m sorry for not being the perfect girlfriend, for not knowing your birthday, the story behind that sensitive nose of yours and how much you love bubble milk tea. I’m sorry if I denied you in front of my friends because I was afraid. I’m a crappy, insecure, jealous and nagging girlfriend. But even though I lack the good qualities of a girlfriend, I can assure you that I’ve always been faithful to you during our relationship. I swear I never cheated on you. You misunderstood what you saw in that restaurant two years ago, Yunho oppa was my cousin. You can meet him if you still don’t believe me. I never dated anyone; I even ignored every guy who’s hitting on me for the past two years. All I want is you, Amber.”

I waited for Amber’s reply but all I heard was a loud snore coming from the other side of the room. That llama didn’t even listen to me. *sigh*

*snore*

“Please come back to me.”

*snore*

*snore*

“Amber, I love you.”

*snore*

Hopeless Krystal Jung, the sleeping llama won’t answer you.

Amber’s POV

Krystal loves me.

Yes, I heard everything she said. I heard how she blamed herself for being such an imperfect girlfriend from the start. I heard her explanation about that guy during her birthday and I was so stupid to walk out without even hearing her out. If there’s someone who must apologize at the moment, it should be me. For not trusting her enough, I broke her heart.

Krystal, you’ve always been the perfect one for me. I’m the one at fault here. I’m sorry for doubting your love all this time. You might deserve someone else better than me but I hope it’s not too late for us. Let’s give it one more shot, Krystal. I promise not to mess up this time.

I turned the night lamp on and walked towards Krystal but I was disappointed to see her sleeping soundly already. Her beautiful face was still damp from tears that I began cursing myself for making her cry. Without further thoughts, I scooped my sleeping princess from the floor and slowly lay her down on the much comfortable bed.

“I told you to sleep on the bed instead. You’re such a hard-headed girl,” I uttered while gently caressing her face and wiped the remaining tears away.

“Amber, I love you.” I was taken aback when Krystal suddenly spoke but I felt relieved when she didn’t open her eyes and continued sleeping.

“Krys,” I called her but I was surprised when the girl whom I thought was sleeping all along pulled me for a hot passionate kiss. Since I miss the nerve-wrecking sensation of Krystal’s lips on mine so much, I didn’t protest and returned her kisses until our lips were swollen.

“Why did you kiss me without warning? You almost gave me a heart attack,” I protested before snuggling closer to her at one side of the bed.

“What? You said ‘kiss’, didn’t you?” She gave me that innocent look.

“Krys, I said—

And she sealed my lips again with hers and just like earlier, we ended up torturing each other’s lips.

“What did you say again, babe?” Krystal told me and batted her eyelashes cutely.

“I said ‘Krys’ not ‘kiss. You should get your ears checked first,” I mumbled.

“Oh, sorry, I heard it wrong. But you still kissed me though. That means you still love me, stupid,” she told me as we lay side by side, holding each other’s gaze.

“Y-Yah, don’t assume too much,” I replied before trying to jump out of the bed but Krystal pulled me back beside her instead and wrapped her arms around me tight enough not to let me go.

“Aigoo. How can you still deny the obvious? I knew it so stop acting like you don’t,” she replied with that teasing smile of hers that always make me go crazy and nuzzled me in her arms more.

“Aish, you should at least let me say it first. What if I don’t love you anymore?”

“Then I’ll make you fall in love with me again.” A simple reply form Krystal made my heart jump up and down from happiness that my walls crumbled to pieces and even to powders.

“I’m sure I’ll fall in love with you over and over again. I love you, Krys—

Then again, our lips automatically connected and we ended up sharing one beautiful night again together. Same room, same bed but with much greater intensity brought by our two years of separation. Thanks to those people behind this perfect set up, Krystal and I were able to make up and...make out. *wink*

“Baby, can I ask you something?” I asked my girlfriend who was resting on my chest after our midnight to morning nonstop action.

“What is it?”

“How’s Jessie noona?” Now that Krystal and I just got back together, the first person I wanted to tell about it was Kwon Yuri, the person who never left my side as we dealt with the same heartbreak for two years. But the question just earned me a smack on the head from my girlfriend.

“We just got back together and you’re thinking about other girls already?!” she glared at me and started hitting me again with a pillow. Here goes again the violent Krystal Jung.

“Baby, she’s your sister. I just want to know how she is right now with her girlfriend,” I talked back while shielding myself from Krystal’s painful hits.

“My unnie doesn’t have a girlfriend, stupid. She’s crazy about Yuri unnie who just disappeared without a trace,” she replied. Good thing that Krystal stopped hitting me when she brought up the Yulsic topic. “Yah, do you know something about Yuri unnie’s disappearance? You two were in Rally Point together, weren’t you?” Krystal looked at me suspiciously.

“Y-Yah, it’s not my fault that she tagged along with me to China.”

*smack*

“You two idiots! How can you two leave us?! You have no idea how we went crazy when you two left! Where is she? I need to tell unnie about it!”

“That, I have no idea. But we were supposed to meet at a bar last night after the wedding.”

“And go flirting again with other girls?? Reminds me of what you did with that b*tch in Rally Point’s restroom. I’ll kill you first before killing Yuri unnie!”

“In what way are you going to kill me?”

“I’ll lock your head between my thighs until you’re out of oxygen.” Her cheeks flushed out of embarrassment when she realized that it sounded so wrong.

“Then I’ll reach heaven first before I die.”

*wink*

While Kryber were on a trip to Busan...

Yuri’s POV

“Baby, don’t wait for your friend and have some fun with me instead,” Hyuna whispered on my ear seductively and started grinding her body on my arm. We were drinking in Rally Point with some other friends and Amber was supposed to be there too but the idiot seemed to forget about it.

“I’m sorry but let’s wait for a few more minutes,” I replied and checked the time on my wristwatch. Seriously, that dinosaur was two hours late already and the girl she’s supposed to end up in bed with was flirting with me instead!

“C’mon, Yul. I missed having with you. How long has it been? Three years? Let me make it up to you tonight,” she said before pulling me into for a sloppy kiss that I managed to break immediately. “Hey, what’s wrong? C’mon, I know you still like me.”

Hyuna went back kissing me and this time I just let her do what she wanted. She’s one of those girls I casually slept with before and tonight would be the same for sure. I was carelessly returning her kisses when a girl caught my attention.

A conservative yet y girl with a shiny blonde hair was sitting by the bar counter with her back on us. But I was so sure that she had an attractive face that I decided to walk towards her and buy her a drink at least. The girl looked somehow familiar though.

Uh, Kwon Yuri. How many times have you mistaken girls as Jessica Jung? You’re over her, right? Now make a move on that chick and nail her tonight!

“Sorry, Hyuna. I just saw the girl of my dreams,” I said and pushed Hyuna away. I fixed myself and wiped Hyuna’s lipstick marks on my face before approaching the counter to introduce myself to that gorgeous lady. I was confident that this girl would end up with me tonight.

Kwon Yuri’s flirting spree is on. You can’t escape me, baby.

“Hey, babe. Let me buy you a drink,” I confidently told her as I s my right arm around her waist. But instead of greeting me with a sweet smile like the other girls, this one slapped my face hard instead.

“ERT!”

“Yah, how dare you hit friendly people?!”

“You deserve that you —Yul?”

Oh dear god, she’s for real this time.
