Krystal’s POV

I really thought that he—I mean she—was a guy. Uh. Krystal Jung, you must be crazy. I tried to concentrate on the food I was eating but the guy at the other table was just so noisy.

“C’mon, Amber. Just go on a date with her once! If you don’t like her, then stop seeing her.” The handsome girl’s friend seemed like persuading her on a date or something.

Aish. Do I really have to hear them talking? So her name’s Amber?

That handsome girl Amber just laughed. What the hell you idiot, I’m waiting for your answer!

“You know I’m busy, Minho,” I heard Amber replied.

“Busy with what? Or is it just because of Ji Won—“

“Ya! Shut up!”

“Why? Still hurt? Haha!”

“You really want to die?”

Those two friends are really loud.

“Krystal Jung!” Key called loudly to catch my attention.

“What?!”

“You’re not listening to me, are you?” My diva friend seemed pissed off. I didn’t know he was talking about something. I was too busy listening to the conversation from the other table that I totally forgot about my friend Key.

“I was listening.” I lied.

“Listening? Listening to them?” Key said as he pointed towards the other table’s direction.

Amber’s POV

Minho really pisses me off right now. He was spoiling the mood. I didn’t really want to talk about Ji Won when there was this beautiful girl on the other table. What if that girl heard us and thought that I have a girlfriend or something?

Aish.  Amber, she won’t even care!

But still I didn’t want that Krystal girl to think that I’m in love with someone.

I stole a glimpse of her at the other table. She was happily talking with her friend. Gawd. How could that friend of hers resist that smile? If I were him, I would probably melt like butter in front of her. She was damn gorgeous that I won’t be tired looking at her face for a long time.

I was still admiring her beauty when she suddenly looked towards our direction; it was too sudden that I didn’t have the chance to look away. And *poof*, I got caught. -.- She looked at me with those knife-throwing eyes and smirked before she looked away.

Why did you have to stare at her for so long, you idiot?! She might think that you’re a creep!

“Oh my god, Amber. Are you drunk? You’re cheeks are all red now, stop drinking,” Vic Noona said as she approached our table and sat beside me. “That would be the last bottle of soju for you young men.”

“No, Noona.  Amber’s face really turns red easily when drinking. But that doesn’t mean she’s drunk,” Minho explained.

“Of course I’m not yet drunk, Noona. It’s just our fifth bottle. We had twelve last time, remember?”

Vic Noona just nodded as she looked at the other table. “But what’s with your ears, Amber? They don’t turn red when you drink, right?” she told me, while still looking away. I avoided doing the same because I might get caught by that Krystal girl again.

“What’s wrong with her ears, Noona?” the innocent Minho asked.

I felt like Noona was teasing me. Did she catch me looking at Krystal too? Aish.

“Excuse me, guys. I’ll just buy something outside.” It’s better to leave for now.

“Ears don’t lie, Amber!” I heard Noona yelled as I walked away.

Minho’s POV

There’s this y and pretty girl sitting at the table next to us and I couldn’t help but admire her from afar. She looked at our direction from time to time and I felt like she was looking at me. Maybe I was being too loud while talking but I’m glad that I caught her attention. I won’t leave Sung Jin tonight without knowing her name and getting her number. I might need Vic’s help too.

“Noona—“

Before I could ask her about the girl, she was already walking towards them. She told them something that I didn’t hear and in a while the thin blond guy and the pretty girl moved to our table. Did Noona read my mind? I contained my smile at the thought of it.

“Would you mind if they sit with us?” Vic Noona said with a wide smile.

“N-no. I-I w-won’t mind. I-I’m sure Amber won’t m-mind too,” I replied, stuttering.

Damn, this chick is really beautiful! Don’t stutter in front of her, Choi Minho!

“Annyeonghaseyo. I’m Kim Ki Bum, but you can call me Key. And this is my friend Krystal Jung,” the blond guy said as he offered his hand.

I stood up and shake hands with him. “Nice meeting you, I’m Choi Minho.

The moment I came in contact with the girl’s hand sent shivers down my spine. Her hand was so soft and I would love to hold it for a long time.

“Nice meeting you, Minho-shi,” said Krystal with a smile then withdrew her hand from mine.

Krystal was more beautiful up close. Her voice was nice to hear too.  I love everything about her. Could it be that she’s my dream girl?

Amber, where the hell are you? I can’t wait to introduce to you your future sister-in-law.

Victoria’s POV

I watched Amber and Krystal stealing glances at each other a while ago. Now it’s her bestfriend Minho who’s showing interest and making a move. I hope everything will turn out fine for these kids.

“Let’s drink a few shots, Krys,” Key said excitedly.

“Ok.”

“Yah, Kim Ki Bum. You can’t drink unless you promise me that you will clean your own vomit later,” I told him.

“And promise me that I won’t piggyback you home when you got drunk,” said Krystal which made all of us laugh.

The kids seemed having fun that Minho forgot the absence of his friend. I saw Amber through the glass window; she was standing outside the shop, watching us.

Amber, why the hell are you just standing there?

“Excuse me, guys.”

I excused myself and went to fetch Amber outside. But once I got there, she was gone.

Amber’s POV

I just came back to Sung Jin after buying a packet of cigarettes. I was about to enter the glass door when I saw Krystal shaking her hand with Minho and she was smiling at my bestfriend sweetly. I couldn’t move from where I was standing as I felt a weird feeling inside me.  I decided to watch them from afar, they seemed having a good time with each other. Krystal’s friend even received a soju shot from Minho. I didn’t know why I was feeling furious all of a sudden. All I knew was there’s no space for me in their happy moment. And one thing’s for sure.

She was stealing glances at Minho.
