Months have passed and Kim and Gerald became the best of friends. They have been inseparable and lalong nagiging sweet sila sa isa’t. They have lunch together and Gerald picks her up and drives her home everyday. Their day isn’t complete without phone calls and text messages to each other.

Gerald: Ang ganda nya talaga no, ang y nyang tingnan in those short shorts. (Looking at Kim who was chosen to be the muse of their school’s basketball team).

Joaqui: Ganda talaga ng muse mo team captain. Ligawan mo na kasi. Ikaw din dami pa namang after sa kanya baka maunahan ka pa.

Gerald: Ayoko ko kasing masira ang friendship namin dude. She's not like any other girl, sobrang special sya to me. I’m happy with our relationship right now, palagi ko syang kasama and close na close kami. She might start feeling awkward being around me if I tell her about my feelings. Besides, wala namang ibang may guts na mag-attempt na manligaw sa kanya kasi ako palagi kasama nya.

Joaqui: Ikaw bahala bro. Pero kung ako sayo, wag masyadong kampante baka makakita ka ng katapat. Ikaw rin.

Gerald: Shushh. She’s coming this way.

Kim: Ready na ba ang mga hot players ng St. Bernadettes?

Gerald: Of course, sa ganda ng lucky charm namin inspired talaga kaming manalo. You really look beautiful Kimmy.

Kim: (blushing) Tama na nga yang pambobola mo at mag-start na ang game.

Gerald smiled and started walking away.

Kim: Gerald.

He turned around.

Kim: Goodluck with the game. (Smiled)

Gerald: Thanks gorgeous. Wala ba akong kiss dyan for goodluck?

Kim: (Kinikilig at nanghihinayang at the same time na hindi nya mabigay ang request ni Gerald) In your dreams mr. team captain! (“How can I resist this gorgeous temptation? Buti na lang maraming tao otherwise baka hindi pa ako makapigil”.)

Gerald showed a sad face and looked down.

Kim: (“Naku pinaguilty ba naman ako!”) Wag ka nang mag-emote dyan, ang gwapo mo pa naman tingnan in your uniform. Win the game for us na lang so you can have your kiss. (“Oh crap! Did I just say that? Oh no, crap!”)

Gerald suddenly turned around and almost leapt for joy as he heard what Kim had just said. He couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.

Gerald: You better get that kiss ready honey cause we will definitely win the game! (Couldn’t stop smiling as he was running off)

Kim: Patay. What did I just got myself into?!

Coach: Excellent job Gerald! Ang galing mo talaga! Grabe ang effort mo sa game ngayon ah. It’s your best game so far. Keep it up!

Gerald: Thanks coach. Ang ganda kasi ng inspiration ko eh. (Sabay wink kay Kim).

Team: Oyyyy….

Kim: (blushing) Hoy Gerald ha, hindi ko gusto yang smile mo, parang may evil plans ka! (“Please sana naman nakalimutan na niya ang sinabi ko kanina.”) By the way, congratulations Mr. Team Captain, you were great! Nakakaproud.

“Hey, don’t think I’ve forgotten about your promise, said Gerald as he gave Kim a wink and a nudge.

Team: Oyyy, anong promise yan ha?

Kim: Sorry guys, but I don’t kiss and tell. (she smiled sweetly at Gerald, teasing him).

Coach: Kayo talagang dalawa, pati ako feeling bagets na rin, kinikilig! Let’s go celebrate na nga!!

As they all started heading off to the party scene, Gerald grabbed Kim’s hand and whispered, “dito muna tayo”.

“Patay. How do I get out of this?”, Kim thought.

When it was only the two of them left, Gerald sweetly smiled at Kim and slowly moved his face close to hers.

Kim: Ge. (“Naku nakaka-nerbyos naman ang mga titig nya. This is it! I’m finally going to be kissed by Gerald. My gosh, for the next few seconds his lips will belong to me! Kimmy, ikaw ay talagang pinagpala sa mga oras na to!”)

Gerald: We won the game Kim. So, you owe me a kiss!

Kim: Sige na nga, hindi naman ako pwedeng mag back-out baka sabihin mo wala akong isang salita.

She was getting her lips ready to meet his when suddenly, he presented his cheeks.
“Ngeeek! What? Sa cheeks lang pala? Was that all he meant the whole time? Muntik na akong ma- heart attack sa kaba tapos simple cheek kiss lang pala.”

Gerald: Kimmy naman, ano kiss mo ba ako o hindi?

Kim kissed Gerald’s cheeks and sighed.

Gerald: Oh bakit parang disappointed ka? (“Parang we had the same thing in mind ah. I should have just kissed her. Dang! Pero baka isipin din nya na manyak ako at magalit pa.”)

Kim: I was just thinking kasi ang saya na siguro sa party tapos heto tayo nagpa-iwan.
(“Kimmy, napaka-tanga mo talaga. Gentleman yan of course hindi naman sya magta-take advantage sa lips mo no! Sana hindi na lang sya gentleman or kaya maginoo pero medyo bastos. Hehehe..”)

Gerald: So, let’s go na. (He grabbed Kim’s hand and they entered the party holding hands).
