Joyce: Hi Shaina! Where’s Mel? Kim and I have been waiting here for you guys naka-two cups of coffee na nga kami.

Shaina: Hi girls. She’s coming soon, she’s just running a little late kasi hinintay pa nya si Matt. Kimmy asan si Gerald?

Kim: I thought this was a girls’ night out so I told him he couldn’t come. Ok lang everyday naman kami nagkikita eh pati after school.

Shaina: Mabuti nakaya nya na hindi kayo magkasamang lumabas.

Kim: Naku friend alam mo nagpaparinig nga yun buong araw eh na baka daw gusto kong magpa-pick-up kaya hindi ko sya pinasama. Hindi nga ako pinayagan mag mini-skirt eh. Pero of course he understands naman that I have to spend time with you guys. He trusts me naman.

Joaqui: Kasama ba sya nina Joaqui tonight?

Kim: He didn’t want to go clubbing without me ayaw daw nya ma-trouble.

Shaina: Ang sweet talaga ni Gerald, he’s determined to be faithful. Ma-trouble talaga sya ang dami kayang girls ang naghahabol sa kanya. Sa club pa kaya.

Mel: Girlfriends!!

Joyce, Kim and Shaina: Melllllll!! Hello Matt!

Kim: About time you guys got here. Grabeng hyper na namin with the amount of caffeine that we have consumed waiting for you guys.

They enjoyed a long chat over coffee and pigged out on cakes. They were the noisiest table in the café constantly laughing out loud. After Matt left, the girls decided to head to the karaoke bar.

Mel: Grabe super hyper parin natin sa taas ng caffeine level ng ating systems! Feel na feel talaga nating kumanta ng Bootylicious. Ano pa nga bang Destiney’s Child songs ang nasa list, I want another round.

Kim: Wala nang hiyaan to kahit pinapanood tayo sa buong bar. Wala namang nang-aagaw ng microphone eh, make the most of the moment. Hehe..

Joyce: Ito na lang kantahin natin “Stick With You” hiningal na ako sa mga Destiney’s Child songs natin eh.

Throughout their song, the people in the bar applauded and whistled.

Kim: Ay nakakahiya naman, I feel pressured pa’g may applause pa. Ayoko na.

Joyce: I feel like I have to re-fill my lungs with air muna rest muna ako. Ibigay na lang kaya natin tong mic sa ibang tables?

While they were listening to another group singing their hearts out, Kim couldn’t help but notice the guy from another table staring and constantly smiling at her. He winks everytime she meets his gaze.

Kim: Ano ba yan, talagang nagpapacute.

Mel: In fairness, mga cute naman talaga. Since we got in dito na talaga yan sila nakatingin bes. Nabihag yata sa ating mga beauties.

Kim: Ikaw talaga, nakakita lang ng cute guys, nakalimutan na committed ka na. Hmm ayaw ni Matt ng ganyan.

Mel: Naku hindi no mas gwapo kaya si Matt kesa mga yan. By the way ako ang bestfriend mo since primary, your loyalty should lie with me kahit na ako pa ang nag-cheat no!

Shaina: Ang gwapo ng naka-white. Kanina pa silang nakatingin pero mga torpe yata hanggang tingin at smiles lang.

Joyce: I know, alangan namang tayo pa ang lalapit. By the way sakin yung naka-green ha. Mas cute yung guy in brown shirt pero parang si Kim yata ang type eh sa kanya lang nakatingin at may pa-wink wink pa.

Kim: Sorry girls but I’m taken. He’s way hotter than any of those guys and he’s all I need.

Shaina: We know pero sayo naman talaga nakatingin eh. Friend, kanina ka pa text ng text dyan sa babe mo sana sinama mo na lang para walang ibang guys makaporma sayo. Hala, phone mo oh! At talagang nag-ring na, hindi nakatiis si babe sa text lang.

Kim: Hi babe. Sumakit na ba ang fingers mo sa kaka-text kaya tumawag ka na talaga?

Gerald: I miss your voice gorgeous. Sounds like you’re having a great time. Marami bang guys dyan?

Kim: Wala masyado. There’s one that Shaina likes nakatingin sila sa table namin so she might get lucky tonight. Hehe…

Shaina: Naku Gerald, kanina pang may nagpapa-cute kay Kim dito. You should be here!

Kim: Shaina naman! Don’t mind her babe, ayaw lang kasi nyang mabuko na may crush sya sa gwapo dito.

Gerald: I trust you babe pero be careful. I know kahit saan there are so many guys trying to get close to you. Pero I know good girl ka naman. I better let you get back to that microphone. Have fun but not too much fun okay?

Kim: Babe, I love having fun with the girls but the whole time, you are all I can think of. I wish you were here with me. I love you and only you so there’s nothing to be worried about, okay?

Gerald: I know. I love you too babe. Bye. See you soon.

Kim: See you babe.

Waiter: Excuse me ladies, fruit cocktails for these 4 lovely beauties.

Mel: Sorry po but we didn’t order these drinks.

Waiter: Pinabigay po ng guys from that table. Don’t worry they’re non-alcoholic. Enjoy ladies.

The girls smiled and mouthed off ‘thanks’ to the guys. The guy in the brown shirt walked towards their table. He introduced himself to the girls and they thanked him for the drinks. “We’ve been wanting to talk to you girls pero nahihiya kami eh baka akalain nyo nanggugulo kami.”

Shaina: No, of course we won’t think that. Ang gentleman nga ng dating ninyo eh.

John: I’m so glad to hear that. We would really like to be friends with you girls. I was just a little intimidated kasi you’re all so beautiful and hot and you look like you are having so much fun. (he turned to kim) I love the way you sing Kim. Would you like to do a duet with me?

Kim: Uhmm, sorry John ha but I have a boyfriend.

Mel: (whispered) Bes, ano namang klaseng sagot yan? Ang layo kaya sa tinanong nya. Kaloka ka, hindi naman sya nanliligaw, nakiki-duet lang.

Kim: (giggled) Oo nga no, ang paranoid naman ng dating ko. I don’t think I should do it bes, he winked at me earlier baka may ulterior motive to.

Mel: You’re right bes, lagot ka kay Gerald baka magtampo pa yun.

Kim: Sorry John ha but we’ve only just met and I don’t think my boyfriend will be okay with this.

John: Kanta lang? Grabe naman ka-seloso yang boyfriend mo.

Kim: He’s not like that, he trusts me. That’s why I don’t want to give him a reason not to trust me.

John: Wow he’s a lucky guy that a hot chick like you who could have anyone she desires, would rather stay with just one guy. He must be doing something right.

Kim: Oh yeah, he’s quite a man, my man! My girlfriends Joyce and Shaina here though are single and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind getting to know you guys.

Joyce and Shaina: Kim ang sama mo!

John: It’s a shame I didn’t meet you when you were still free. Actually my bestfriend Rayver has the hots for Shaina, mahiyain lang yan kaya walang guts to come over. (He signalled Rayver and Adam to join him at the girls’ table.)

The guys ultimately stayed in the girls’ table and they enjoyed singing a few songs together. While Kim was cheering on Shaina and Rayver who were singing a mushy love song, Gerald snuck behind her and held her shoulders. “Excuse me miss, I couldn’t help notice how gorgeous you are and I just have to have you in my arms!”
Kim felt so excited to hear Gerald’s voice and was so astonished when she turned around to see that it really is him! She was so glad to see him that she instantly wrapped her arms around him. "Hey handsome! Basta ikaw, you can have me in your arms any day!”

John: Kim, I thought you said you’re faithful to your boyfriend? Why are you hugging some random stranger?

Kim and Gerald looked at each other and laughed.

Kim: Well, syempre kung kasing gwapo ba naman nito ang stranger, sorry ka na lang boyfriend.

Gerald: (whispered) Babe I hope that statement doesn’t really apply when you meet a good-looking stranger.

Kim: (whispered) Of course not babe, you know naman pinagtripan ko lang sila.

John: Congrats pare, a few guys tried their luck with Kim pero you’re the man bro!

Gerald: Thanks dude, I can’t believe my luck tonight. I have the hottest, most adorable girl!

Mel: Ito talagang dalawang to sobrang magkasundo lalo na pagdating sa kalokohan!

Shaina: Match made in heaven talaga. Teka pala Gerald ha we’ll get another chair for you.

Gerald: It’s all good Shaina, Kim will sit in my lap. Diba babe?

Before she could protest, Gerald occupied the vacant chair and pulled her to his lap. “Babe naman, we’re in public!” He just smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist. “I must admit, I’m really glad to see you here. What made you decide to show up anyway?”

Gerald: I’ve missed you baby. I didn’t get to see you all day.

Kim: Is that really the only reason?

Gerald looked at her.

Gerald: Well, maybe medyo kinabahan ako when I heard Shaina mentioned on the phone that there are cute guys here interested in you. Sorry babe, I do trust you pero I don’t know kung bakit hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko. I got a little jealous. Worried din in case you get harassed or something. I hope you’re not upset that I crashed your little night out.

Kim: The best surprise I got tonight was to see you here. Hmm… bakit kaya hindi mo makaya kung may guys na nag-flirt sa akin? Siguro love mo talaga ako no? (lightly pinched his cheeks)

Gerald: (kissed her cheeks) Siguro nga.

Kim: Ano bayan, you’re not even sure?

Gerald: Babe naman tampo agad. Of course I’m truly, madly, deeply in love with you. Gusto mo kantahin ko pa eh.

Kim: Wa’g na, John had beaten you to the microphone.

John: (talking on the microphone) Since one special girl had declined my offer of doing a duet with her, I’ll just dedicate a song to her instead. Hope you like this sweetheart.

The girls instantly looked at Kim and . She couldn’t understand why she felt nervous all of a sudden. She noticed the confused look on Gerald’s face and explained to him what happened earlier with John. They couldn’t help but laugh when John started singing, “Akin Ka Na Lang”.

Mel: Parang pinariringgan ka yata ah Gerald. (laughed)

Gerald couldn’t explain why he felt a little annoyed with the song that John was singing, thinking that he was trying to send a message to Kim. He tightened his hold on her. Kim noticed and wrapped her arms around his neck, looked at him and smiled.

Kim: Babe, have I mentioned that I’m so in love with you?

Gerald smiled back. “I love you Kim. So much.”

Kim moved her face closer and whispered, “can’t wait until it’s just the two of us.”
That was enough to remind him how lucky he was to have her. He was holding her close and she smelt so good. He had been tempted to kiss her the whole time, he was running out of patience. “That’s all I could think of all night babe. You took the words right out of my mouth!”

They stayed for another hour then Kim and Gerald decided it’s time to go someplace where they can get a little privacy. Being close to midnight, they decided it’s best to head to Kim’s place.

Kim: (pouring out pineapple juice into their glasses) Thanks for coming tonight babe, it was really a wonderful surprise to see you.

Gerald crept up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist which always manage to make her heart flutter. “Did you miss me tonight?” Kim took a sip of her juice and smiled. “Sobra!” Gerald gently kissed her cheeks then started kissing her neck. “Me too, I missed you so much, I couldn’t bear not seeing you”, he whispered. She loved the feel of his lips on her neck. “I miss kissing your soft, delicate skin.” She tilted her head to expose her lips and anticipated another wild, long, passionate kiss. He certainly delivered and she succumbed to his sweet lips. She turned around to face him and threw her arms around his neck. Gerald couldn’t part his lips from hers. He couldn’t get enough of her. Her simple gestures drove him wild. The touch of her hand on his cheeks gently moving down to his neck brought shivers all over his body. Not letting go of his kiss, he swept her off her feet and carried her to the couch and gently laid her down. “I love you babe.” He managed to whisper when they had to come up for air. Kim opened her eyes and gazed straight into his. “I love you too babe.” They both smiled and he touched her lips. “God, you’re so beautiful. I am so lucky to have you Kimmy.” She responded with just a shy smile. It was a little awkward for her to carry out a conversation while Gerald was on top of her and she could tell he was a little too ‘excited’. Gerald wanted to tell her so much about how much he loves her and what he adores about her but realized that it was best to show her. He demonstrated all his feelings with every caress and with every kiss. He took his own sweet time worshipping every part of her, paying particular attention to her luscious lips. He felt warm all over and she welcomed every gesture. Kim was well aware of where they are heading but she couldn’t get helself to protest. The moment felt so right. She savoured another beautiful kiss then opened her eyes when she felt that Gerald had stopped. He was just staring at her. “Babe, is something wrong?”

Gerald: No babe, everything is so good that’s why I had to stop. The moment is so perfect I lost control of myself. I hope I didn’t go too far babe.

Kim wasn’t sure how to respond. A part of her was a little disappointed, worried even. (“Did he see something he didn’t like? Am I not good enough for him after all?”). But then again she was thankful that he sort of killed the moment. It served as a wake up call for her. Otherwise, she would have surrendered her whole heart and soul to him.

Gerald: Did I disappoint you babe? I just wanted our first moment to be perfect. With the perfect romantic setting and when we have both agreed that we are ready for it. I just want to give you the best baby. Your couch is lovely and comfortable but I pictured our first moment in a bed. Another reason why I stopped is because I didn’t bring any protection. I’m so sorry babe, I know I ruined a wonderful moment but---

“Babe, I understand what you are trying to say”, she quickly interrupted. “It’s okay.”

Still on top of her, he gently lowered his lips to meet hers and tightened his grip on her. “On second thoughts, maybe we should just give in to our passion. It’s too hard to stop kissing you gorgeous.” He kissed her once more. “Gerald, I think you were right when you said that we should do this when we’re both prepared. Besides it’s really late and you still have to drive back home.”

Gerald: Oh, can’t I sleep over? Please babe? It will be daytime in a couple of hours anyway. I promise I won’t do anything you don’t want to do.

Kim: That’s the thing. If you stay any longer I might not have the will to protest at baka ano pa ang mangyari.

Gerald: In that case, I’m definitely sleeping over!

Kim: Uwi na Mr. Anderson.

Gerald: Miss na kita katabi matulog eh. I get a great night sleep when you’re right next to me and I get to hold you all night. Please babe, tabi tayo tonight?

Kim: Kunyari ka pa wala naman tayong sleep eh whenever you’re in bed with me.

Gerald: Promise if you just want to sleep, I’ll just hold you until makatulog ka.

Kim: Well, I do love snuggling in bed with you babe. Sige na nga, you can stay pero tonight lang ha. Let’s not make this a regular thing. People talk you know.

Gerald couldn’t hide his excitement that he gets to hold her the whole night. He immediately picked her up which caught her by surprise and headed upstairs to her bedroom. “Let’s go Mrs. Anderson, let’s start our honeymoon.”

Kim: (Hits him playfully.) I was right. I have a feeling na wala talagang tulugan na mangyayari tonight.

Gerald and Kim kissed and hugged each other tightly until they surrendered to dreamland
