CHAPTER 6 – THE TEXT

“Daraaaaaaaaaa!!! I’m home…” Bom shout the moment she enters their house. “Daraaaaa!!! Where are you??” Bom asks while looking for Dara at the kitchen and bathroom. When Bom did not see Dara on the first floor, she immediately goes upstairs and walks towards Dara’s room. After knocking a couple of times, Bom open Dara’s room to check if she is sleeping but when she saw the bed empty, Bom walks inside and check Dara’s bathroom. When Bom did not see Dara inside, she immediately get her phone inside her pocket to text Dara but when she looks at her phone screen, Bom saw one message from Dara. Bom open it instantly and read:

To: Bom

From: Dara

Subject: Unnieeeeeeeeeeee!!

Unnie… I’ll be home late… don’t wait for me… I just need to finish some irritating “things”… explain when I get back

Love yah!!!

Bom sigh before replying to Dara’s text:

To: Dara

From: Bom

Subject: Rabitttttttttttttttttt!!

Who’s with you??? Be careful… and don’t stays so late… update me again…

Love yah too!!!

After a couple of minutes, Bom decides to goes to her own room and do her assignments and paper works while waiting to Dara’s reply.  After a couple of hours, Bom check her phone and saw no reply from Dara, she just sigh and continues what she is doing. ‘Haist… It’s already 4:00PM and Dara still didn’t reply, what is she doing?’ Bom said to herself after looking at her wall clock.  Bom is currently massaging her neck when all of a sudden her phone beep indicating that she just receive a new messages, and because she is expecting Dara’s reply, Bom immediately get her phone and check the message but she frown when she saw a unregistered number on her screen. Bom immediately open the message and read:

To: Park Bom

From: 0923XXXXXXXX

Subject: Hello…

Hi, Bom! Still remember me… this is TOP from club VIP. You gave your number to me, Remember??? Sorry if I disturb you because of this text.

Anyway, how are you? What are you doing? Are you free tonight?

After reading Bom is shock that she receive a text message from TOP because it’s been three weeks since she gave her number to him. Bom immediately types her reply:

To: TOP

From: Bom

Subject: Hello 2…

Hi… Yeah! I remember you… You’re not disturbing… I’m almost done with my school paper works and assignments.

I’m fine... thank you for asking, how about you? Well, I’m doing school work… Tonight… Hmmmm… maybe… why???

After typing her reply Bom press send and wait for TOP’s reply. After a couple of minutes, her phone beeps again. Bom open the message and saw TOP’s name, she immediately open the messages and read:

To: Bom

From: TOP

Subject: Hello 3… J

Thank god you remember me!! J ohhh.. So, you’re still a student?? Well… Good luck on your study!!

Anyway, I’m fine too... If you’re free tonight… Can I ask you for a simple dinner... Just you and me… If it is ok with you.. J

Bom type her reply:

To: TOP

From: Bom

Subject: Sure…

What time tonight? Just pick me up in this address… No. 23 Silver Road XXXXXXXXXX…. Just text me if you’re on your way.

Then press send. After exchanging a couple of text to TOP, Bom decide to finish all her works and she already forgot about Dara. After finishing everything, Bom decide to prepared herself for her and TOP dinner.

“YB-Hyung where is GD-Hyung??” VI asks when he saw YB walking along the office hallway. YB looks at VI and said “GD is inside his office…” VI shakes his head and said “Hyung I already check his office and he is not there. According to his secretary GD-Hyung went outside before lunch break and he never return.” “Well, I don’t know. Ask TOP if he knows.” YB answers “Hyung I also can’t find TOP-Hyung” VI answers “Well, I have no idea what those two is doing right now. Just ask D-Lite to track their number” YB answers before walking away to VI. “Hyunggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!” VI shouts when he saw YB walks away. YB just wave his hand to VI while walking before turning left and disappear from VI’s eyes. VI just sighs and walks towards the elevator. to go to D-Lite’s office.

‘Haist… My Hyung is very annoying at this moment’ VI said to himself while riding the elevator. ‘They will ask you to do this and that and say it is important but when you’re ready to submit it. They are missing.’ He continues. VI just shakes his head then wait for the elevator to reach D-Lite’ floor. When the elevator stop, VI step outside and walks towards D-Lite’s office. VI knocks at D-Lite door and opens it without waiting for the reply.

“Hyung… Do you know where GD-Hyung is??” VI asks the moment he saw D-Lite sitting on his chair and doing some paper works. When D-Lite hears VI, he instantly looks at him and said “GD-Hyung went to some important business matter.” “What business?” VI asks curiously while sitting in front of D-Lite. “I don’t know…” D-Lite answers while still looking at VI. “Haist… Can I leave this folder here in your office?? GD Hyung needs this report” VI asks. D-Lite just nod and get the folder from VI then put it inside his drawer. “Anything else?” D-Lite asks. VI just shakes his head before standing up and leave the room.

Bom is now checking herself at her mirror when she hears the sound of their door bell. She look again at the mirror for the last time, then immediately get her purse and go down to sees if TOP already arrive. When she reaches their door, she saw TOP standing in their front door thru the tiny hole at their door. She instantly opens the door and said “Hi…” “Hello...” TOP reply instantly when he hears Bom’s greeting.  “Are you ready?” TOP asks when he saw Bom standing at their door. Bom nod and close the door behind her and then turn around to lock it. “Let’s go” Bom said after locking their door. TOP raise his arm and look at Bom. On the other hand Bom look at TOP’s face with curiosity then look at TOP’s raised arm, Bom suddenly smile and put her hand on TOP’s raise hand. “Now… Let’s go” TOP said before walking towards his car. Bom just follow TOP and walk beside him while holding his arms.
