All students dispersed from their room and immediately went to the cafeteria. Suzy signaled Myungsoo to go out with her. He did followed her like a little puppy. They found themselves under the big old tree near the school's sports field. They sat feeling the grass' softness.
"Wanna tell me something?" he peeked through her bangs
"Let's enjoy the peaceful silence for now.." he fixed his view through the clear blue sky. They stayed quiet for how many minutes. looking at the clouds, seeing and imagining what object it would be. One cloud passed by and it looked like a rabbit hopping.. Then she saw a figure that looked like a herd of horses. Myungsoo pointed at a cloud that looks like a heart. Suzy smiled and nodded in agreement.
"I had a dream again" she finally spoke up
"Your nightmare! What was it about?" he moved forward
"My nightmare was really horrible! I woke up in the middle of the day. I thought it was the weekend. Someone texted me that I was late but the number was unknown. Then I quickly fixed myslef and went to school. The first thing I noticed was the school was really crowded. They were screams, students running here and there. I don't know but it looked like I didn't went to a school. More like a mental hospital full of mental disordered patients.." she grasped for air.
"Then what happened?" what a god listener you are Myungsoo XD !
"So, I've gone to look for you!" she points at him
"Me?" he points at himself
"Yes! you.. then I see myself standing on stage. I can't see people's faces because of the light that shined on me. I plodded at the corner where a piano was placed. My heart was beating like crazy. I tried playing the piano to calm myself down but people began to say hurtful words."
"What kind of words?"
"Like 'You're not good enough' 'You don't have talent at all' "
"Continue?"
"At first it was just thorns that's stuck in my heart but when he appeared.." she stopped
"Who was it?"
"You.. appeared. You walked from a dark corner. I was really traumatized when I heard those words from you. I really didn't expect you'd say those words. I was really scared and.. You guys were pickin' on me. I was the only one there and you had killed me with your words. I felt weak and unable to move my body. I felt that I was so small and you were so big that you would break me to pieces. Your eyes was ablaze and.." he cut and held her shoulder really tight
"Snap out of it Suzy! I'm really sorry if I did that.. I'm really really sorry"
"So I thought you were like that and the Myungsoo I'm talking with is not what I knew before. Lots of stuff came running through my head. Is this guy I'm talking with is the real Myungsoo? or is he just pretending to be nice and hiding his true self? Is that what you are?" she looked at him fiercely
"I know.. I did those things to you in your dream. But I wouldn't do that to you. I wouldn't.. Are you listening?"
"Yeahh I am. I'm just worried that you might do that to me someday. you really know that I'm not that strong to handle those things right? i'm sorry I scared you.." she smiled becoming herself again..
"Just remember that I won't do such a thing like those okay? After the silly fight we had, I realized that it affected you alot.. dreams scaring us and tellingus what will happen today, tomorrow or in the future. Those are warnings that we will take in mind that maybe we can use it when a same situation happens and Yes they do happen in real life. So? Did I answer your question?"
"Yes.. You did.." the bell rang they walked together to their room still continuing their conversation
"The contest is on next week are you excited?"
"Not that much.. after having the nightmare, I feel uneasy and worried on what will happen on that day. You sure you're going to be there?"
"Don't worry! Dreams sometimes happen but in opposite. When you dreamed about something scary or horrible, it will come out better and beautiful. But if you don't have the faith, it will truely come out ugly. So just chill okay? Dreams are like predictions. A hint on what will happen in your life and yeah ! I will be there.. If you want, I'll make a very big poster so you won't get nervous?"
"No! You're presence is enough" feeling anxious on what he'll do on the contest
"You sure? You'll be surprised.." she felt thousands of butterflies in her tummy "about what?" he zipped his lip
"Ohh? is that what's it like? A surprise? okay then !"
