Jinyoung pov:

I stepped into the Royal Clinic after having breakfast with Princess Seungyeon, we were spending almost all of our free time together since the time she almost disappeared.

We both knew our parting was going to happen eventually but decided not to think about it and just enjoy whatever time we had left in the company of each other. To everyone else, we were just two new lovers in love who can’t get enough of each other. But to us, it was like spending everyday as if it were our last with each other.

All eyes fell on me as I walked into the royal clinic, the other doctors were all talking around and whispering to each other.

“Aiishh…he still dares to show his face here after what has happened.” I heard one of them say.

“So shameless…how could he even dare to go after the Princess?”

“Who does he think he is? *Beggar trying to go after a fairy.” Another said.

I tried not to meet their stares as I looked down at the floor and continued to walk. One of the doctors knocked into my shoulder as I walked.

“Yah! Watch where you’re going!” he shouted.

“Sorry.” I mumbled, keeping my eyes on the ground and continuing to walk towards the medicine counter.

I sighed as I grabbed onto the weighing scale, guess this was going to go on for a long time.

At the Crown Princess’s quarters.

Gyuri pov:

“Mama, physician Lee (some random doctor from the royal clinic who owes Gyuri a debt. Needed to give him a name lol.) from the royal clinic is here.” Cheonduk announced.

“Send him in.” I said.

“Ye Mama.”

“Mama….have you sent for me?” Physician Lee stuttered.

“Yes, I have a task for you.” I said, looking towards him.

He gulped, he was involved in bribery before and I had helped him cover it up and blame it on someone else, saving him and his entire family. He knew he owed me a huge debt…and he had to pay for it now.

“I am at your service…Mama.” He said.

“I hear the King is sick…I would like you to put this in his medicine.” I said, putting a circle red box on the table, which was filled with powder.
