Seungyeon pov:

I could feel my body freeze up as the icy waves crashed against my body, this was it wasn’t it….it was my time to leave this world.

With that thought in my mind, my eyes rolled shut and everything went black.

-Flashback-

“Seungyeon ah~” I could hear my dad’s soft and warm voice. He was calling me.

I was around six years old then, and I had twisted my ankle after trying to climb up a tree.

“are you okay?” he said, as he reached his out towards me.

I shook my head as I reached out at curled my little fingers around my dad’s hand.

He smiled his great wide smile as he carried me over to a bench nearby.

“Does it hurt?” he asked as he turned my ankle a little.

I shook my head.

“It’s just a little muscle pull then, you’ll be good as new after applying some ointment!” he replied cheerfully as he took out the ointment bottle from his jacket pocket and applied a little on my ankle.

“There! It doesn’t hurt anymore does it? Next time, if you hurt anywhere just apply this magic medicine and it won’t hurt anymore!” he said handing me the small bottle of brownish colored ointment.

I smiled as I grabbed the bottle from my dad, he made me really think that this was something magic to cure any pain!

“Mmmmm!” I said as I nodded confidently and gazed at him.

My dad laughed heartily.

“aigoooo, uri Seungyeon ah!” he said as he swung me up onto his shoulders and I laughed as he did.

As he walked and I sat on his strong shoulders, he told me a little story.

“Seungyeon ah..” he started.

“Mmm, appa?” I replied.

“Do you know somewhere far far away from here….there is another world?”

“another world?” I asked in disbelief.

“Mmmm….somewhere different from here, but in that other world there is someone just like you living there.”

My eyes widened as I heard what he had to say “is she called Seungyeon too?” I asked.

My dad laughed “Maybe, her name would be different but she would look just like you….someone just like you living somewhere else in a different life then yours.” He finished.

“If there was another me, I still want appa to be my appa! Appa will always be Seungyeon’s!” I said mischievously tugging at his hair.

My dad grinned at me “I will always be your appa, no matter where you are.” He said as he pinches my cheeks and swung me around in his arms while I laughed happily.

“appa….you aren’t dead..are you?”
