Gyuri pov:

I finally reached the interrogation grounds, the clans men were all in the middle of getting tortured.

“What’s happening here!?” I demanded, staring at Seungyeon who was with the palace maid and that doctor.

Seungyeon bowed to greet me. “We’ve found the people who tried to kill me.” She replied.

I gave her an angry stare and turned to the King. “Jeonha, what’s the meaning of this…these are the Queen’s relatives.” I shouted.

“Seungyeon and the chief police investigator have already shown me the evidence…there is no need for you to interfere Gyuri ah..” He replied.

I breathed heavily as the piercing screams filled my ears, they better not reveal who the mastermind was behind this!

“Jeonha!! Stop the torture this instant!” I could hear the Queen scream as she rushed into the interrogation grounds.

“Omma mama!” I said.

“Jeonha!!! How could you do this….do you want me to die!?” the Queen continued.

“My Queen, even though these are your relatives…they have done an unpardonable crime! Plus the evidence is all here before us.” The King replied, holding up the medallion.

The Queen cast a glare at Seungyeon, who was still standing there.

I understood how she felt, I too wanted Seungyeon to disappear…now!

“Continue the torture until they confess!” He ordered, as he walked off the platform.

I clenched my fist as I turned to face Seungyeon.

“Come with me!” I told her, as I walked away from the interrogation ground.

It was time to have a nice long chat with her.

I stopped behind the wall as she appeared and stood in front of me.

I stared at her angrily as I raised my hand and slapped her in the face.

She widened her eyes and stared back at me, shocked from the slap.

“Putting up a front and acting pitiful like you loss your memory when in fact you knew everything didn’t you! Pretencious wench!” I shouted at her.

“Hah! You’re guilty aren’t you, this is only the beginning…I still have a lot of cards to play!” she retorted.

Seungyeon pov:

She actually slapped me, I was so angry I wanted to pull out all of her hair now!

While we were fighting and pulling at each other’s hair, suddenly Jinyoung rushed out from behind the wall and wrapped his arms around me.

“Mama.!” He said, as he pulled me away from Gyuri.
