Chapter twenty-one: Another Day

I wake up with a small headache which will probably be alright after I take a few pills and a little more rest. I don’t really remember much from yesterday, apart from Appa screaming and yelling at me like no tomorrow. Let me recount… I had a few drinks, met some hot chicks… and I think I might have bought one home.

Am I still alive? Did Appa kill me? I pinch my own hand, it still hurts. I’m alive. I sit up, have a stretch and turn my position sideways to see Ka Eun sleeping on the couch near me. What is she doing here?

Is she retarded? There’s one whole room for her to go to sleep in, and she chooses to sleep on the couch? Maybe she loves me way too much. I get out of bed and walk towards her.

I poke her arm. There is no response from her what so ever, she just continues to hug the cushion tightly like a teddy bear. Did that babo sleep like this all night? Lucky it isn’t winter any more, it’s heading towards spring but it’s not even warming up yet.

“Yah, weren’t you cold at night?” I say, poking her arm again. Still no response, I guess she must be very tired. It’s still pretty goddamn cold in the morning, I walk over to her and wrap a soft blanket around her. If she catches a cold or anything, our parents would be making a huge fuss.

It’s time I should prepare for morning classes. I change into a white long sleeve top with my long grey cardigan with black skinny jeans. I decide to wear a couple of other rings on fingers and of course, my y thumb ring. I head into the bathroom and fix up my bed hair, styling some parts of it. I’m basically ready to go, should I wake her up and tell her? Maybe I’ll get the maids to make breakfast first.

I walk out of the room and down the stairs, passed Myungsoo. Suddenly I remember something.

“Yah, Kim Myungsoo, come back here.”

“Deh.”

“Were you spying on me yesterday?”

“Mr Kim Jaejoong-ssi, it was an order from your father and it’s my job. Mianhae.”

“You don’t simply follow people around! I’M PROBABLY BANNED IN FRIGGIN CLUBBING! Bro, you’re such a bag.”

“My true apology to you, like I mentioned it’s my job.”

“Has my father killed me yet?”

Myungsoo scratches the back of his neck and bows, “Mianhae, I’m not too sure but it’s best to ask Ka Eun-ssi about it.” He walks off another direction. Well I’ll do that later in life when I have time. I walk back to the room, since I forgot to take my necklace with me. It’s important to me, it makes me look ier than I already am. I fiddle through the cupboards and hear sounds of someone shuffling about. I guess she’s woken up. I turn around and stare at her; she rubs her eyes and stares at me, eyes half closed.

“Are you alright?” She asks, squinting at me as though she needs glasses.

“Little headache, I guess it’s alright, you know.”

“Oh…” She trails off and rubs the side of her neck, down to her collarbone, causing me to trail my eyes onto that area.

What is that on her neck?

“Yah Ka Eun, I’m surprised you’re actually someone who does that. I actually thought you were innocent, but it’s okay since I don’t give two s about your life and we are like people from two different worlds, like water planet and oil planet.”

“Mwo?”

I walk up towards her and glide my fingers down her neck. She giggles.

What the ?

“Hehe, Jaejoong, it tickles when you do that to my neck.”

Oh, so I also married a childish girl too.

“Seriously Ka Eun, take a look at it yourself.”

“Mwo?” She attempts to take a look but fails. I mean I don’t think it’s physically possible to look at your own neck, but she notices a few marks near her collar bone.

“What is it?” She asks.

“Are you retarded? Also, why are your eyes so swollen, did you cry? Did you… did you cry because it hurt you since it was your first time or?”

“Jaejoong.”

“What? Don’t say my name so casually like that.”

“I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about, I’m serious.”

“Ka Eun! YOU HAVE ING HICKEYS DOWN YOUR NECK!”

“Oh that. It was…” I actually don’t care who it was, honestly. It has nothing to do with me, she can do what she likes out there, since I do that too. Unfortunately I’m banned from clubbing. “You.” She replies sternly, her index finger pointing right in front of my eyes.

“What are you saying?”

“It was you.” Chills run down my spine, no way. It can’t be. Or it can… I was drunk last night but it doesn’t mean I…

“It’s alright,” She replies, obviously noticing my sour expression. Of course it’s alright for you Ka Eun, you’re talking about a y beast
