Xiao Mai glanced at the letter on her hands. (Brother... What are you thinking of again this time?) She snapped out from her thoughts when she heard screams coming from everybody else in the room. Xiao Mai glanced at the door and gasped when she found you unconscious with Shindong, Eli and Siwon aiding you.
"Baby Girl!" Eli called out loud hoping you would somehow hear him and regain your consciousness but sadly, nothing happened. Everybody was somehow panicking seeing you fainted on the floor. Sohyun was fanning you with her hands and Kyuhyun placed a hand on your forehead and was checking if you have a fever, which you don't.
(AN: Note to malicious minded readers... the scene below... Siwon is not being a ... XDDD)
Siwon placed his head on your chest and listened to your heartbeat, It was still beating normally. You were just passed out. You have stayed with Zhao Ren for 12 hours, You haven't eaten your breakfast nor your lunch, and by using your last amounts of energy in struggling and trying to escape eventually you would pass out in the end.
"Her heartbeat is normal..." Siwon breathed a sigh of relief. "She is just passed out..."
"Oh Thank goodness!" exclaimed Sohyun as she wiped the sweat dripping from her forehead.
Everyone calmed down when they heard this. Heechul chuckled when he realized something.
"Come to think about it, ______-ah didn't really eat much during breakfast as well..." he said as he your cheek lightly.
Leeteuk nodded. "Oh yeah... I told her to eat... but she just drank a glass of milk..."
"Oh yeah, What time is it Hyung?" Kyuhyun asked Kibum. Kibum yawned and immediately looked at his wrist watch.
"Uh... Its 4:56AM..." he yawned yet again and rubbed his tired eyes. Kyuhyun chuckled and lifted his arms in the air.
"I wont go to school tomorrow... i mean today!" cheered Kyuhyun. Leeteuk laughed at the maknae. Ryeowook slapped Kyuhyun on the shoulder.
"Yah GameKyu... and Why the hell not?" he asked Kyuhyun who just smiled at him. Ryeowook raised his eyebrows Kyuhyun.
"Don't tell me you plan to play games again later on..." sighed Donghae. Kyuhyun shook his head.
"Nawwwh~ Im going to nurse ______-ah!" he said cheerfully. Sungmin slapped him on the shoulder.
"Yah Kyu... Education first~" laughed Sungmin who went against him. "Ill be the one nursing ______-ah!" he said and made Kyuhyun frown.
"Ill help too!" grinned Eunhyuk which made Kyuhyun frown some more.
"No Fair..." pouted Kyuhyun and made everybody laugh.
"Hyung! You have Concert Rehearsals remember?..." noted Henry. Sungmin huffed when the realization hit him. Eunhyuk who wanted to nurse you as well pouted when he also realized he has rehearsals too since he is also a part of "Super Junior Happy".Kyuhyun pointed at the two of them and laughed.
"Hah! Life is fair!" said Kyuhyun. Sungmin pinched him on the arm and made him jump a little bit. Henry laughed at his two hyungs.
"Ill stay by ______-ah's side tomorrow..." said Henry.
"Me too..." added Siwon as he took you and carried you down the stairs.
"Ill be with you as well Henry..." said Xiao Mai as she glanced apologetically at your sleeping form in Siwon's arms.
"This bastard is lucky that _____-ah fainted..." muttered Kangin as he faced Zhoumi.
"We could've chased him if that didn't happen..." sighed Zhoumi as he crossed his arms.
(I wonder why she let my brother go...) thought Xiao Mai. Henry wondered as well.
Everyone arrived at the Super Junior dormitory. Xiao Mai and Sohyun helped dress you up and cleansed your wounds. Xiao Mai patched them up neatly and Kangin carried you to the bed in the guest room downstairs.
(Im so sorry this has happened to you...) thought Xiao Mai as she looked at you sleeping peacefully. Everyone except her went to the living room. She remembered the letter that Zhao has given you to to give to her. (I wonder what he wants...) she thought.
She took it from her pocket and opened it. She saw his familliar neat handwriting.
My dear Baby sister,Once you decide to read this letter, i am already halfway back to Beijing. Im going over there to formally renounce my place as CEO of the Nam Corporation. I am willing to give back that position to Aunt Mie Chi and of course to you. Don't worry about the elders who will go against you, i assure you that theyll never set foot on the company again. Do not worry about my mother either... I will deal with her myself...I never had the chance to formally apologize to you, to Jin, to Auntie, to Henry and to everybody else including _____. I have done you all wrong and im lowering myself to all of you. I know im not worthy of your forgiveness but still...I know i have made your life miserable. I don't blame you if you don't intend to forgive me, all i want is to let you know that i am truly sorry.During my stay with ______, i have realized that i have been acting like someone i never intended to be like. You may think Im heartless, In fact, you may have already cursed me as a demon. I humbly apologize for that.If you are wondering if we'll meet again. I don't know the answer to that question. Maybe someday our paths might cross again. I also plan to go back to Korea and live there permanently. I assure you i wont meddle with your life again. I am no longer interested to take the Company from you.If you see _____... Please let her know that im truly sorry for hurting her...I also release you from your obligations to the company. You are no longer obliged to marry Henry Lau if you don't want to. Tell him i will settle the fusion of the business with his father as soon as possible, nothing will change from the agreement set by his father and our father. Henry is also free to love whoever he wants. Jin is a nice and responsible young man. I have not done anything to him at all. Xiao Mai clutched the letter and felt tears flow down her snowy white cheeks. For the first time in many years, she had felt free. Henry went inside the room and noticed her crying.
"Xiao Mai..." he said with face full of concern. "What's wrong?"
Xiao Mai wiped the tears off her face and gave the letter to Henry. Henry read the whole thing and felt himself also released from a heavy load. This time its certain that his father wont meddle with his life choices again since the business deal will be pushed through.
"He did turn out to be nice at all..." said Henry smiling at Xiao Mai. She smiled back at him and nodded.
"I'm glad its all over..." she said and sighed as she looked at Henry. "I'm now free to go back to Beijing without worries..."
"Yeah... Me too... My Father wont definitely force me again once i go back to Hong Kong..." he said and held her hands. "What do you plan to do once you get back to Beijing?" he asked her.
Xiao Mai thought for a moment and grinned. "Ill definitely abolish the "Men only" rule in our company... Its full of nonsense and really..." She chuckled. "by the way, Henry Lau... I wish you eternal happiness with _____-ah" she added.
"Xiao..." Henry smiled beside her and glanced around the room if there are eavesdroppers. He noticed that they were alone and decided to confess everything. "She isnt really my girlfriend..."
Xiao Mai gasped when she heard this. "For real? I thought she is!" Henry shook his head.
"Truth be told, She is just helping me escape our wedding..." he said. "I don't know how to make it up to her... She has been involved too much..." he said and looked at you sleeping on the bed. "For things to go this far..." he said and felt bad as he sees your patches. Xiao Mai looked at you as well.
"I know... It has been an endless roller coaster ride hasn't it..." she sighed and Henry nodded beside her. "I'm glad it finally went to a stop..." he said.
"I'm flying back to Beijing soon..." she smiled at Henry.
"When?" asked Henry. Xiao Mai smiled and tucked strands of hair behind her ear.
"Maybe tomorrow..." she said. "I will call my mother to send a plane since my brother surely took the one we used to get here..." Henry nodded beside her.
"Its getting late... I should go back to the hotel and rest..." she said and yawned a bit.
Henry gave her a light hug. "Ill try to catch up in the airport..." Xiao Mai nodded and prepared to leave. "Bring _____-ah along~" she added. Henry smiled. "Ill try to bring her don't worry..."
"Xiao, Good Luck with everything..." Henry wished her all the best as they parted ways. "We'll meet again someday..." he said to her as she waved goodbye to him and drove back to the hotel.
You awoke at exactly 12:30 in the afternoon. You glanced around and saw Kyuhyun sleeping near your legs. You sat up on the bed and noticed your wounds were already patched up. You also saw Heechul sitting near the table with Henry, Hangeng and Donghae. He noticed you wake up and placed his book on the table.
(AN: The people in the room were: You, Super Junior M, Heechul, Kibum... Super Junior Happy has concert rehearsals... XDD)
"Good Afternoon ______-ah~" greeted Heechul as he walked towards the bed.
Donghae smiled and stood up. "Good Afternoon _____-ah! How are you feeling?" he asked.
You smiled at him. "Im feeling pretty good..." Hangeng sat down on a stool on your left and ruffled your hair.
"______-ah, Does your wounds still hurt?" he asked. You shook your head. "Not as much now~ Thank you Oppas..."
"The pretty silent girl patched you up" said Heechul. "along with Sohyun-ah, they cleansed your wounds..."
"Oh..." you said and smiled. (Xiao Mai was here too...?) You looked at Henry confused. He just nodded at you to prove your thoughts are right. You smiled and nodded your head.
"Kyoung Jae was here as well this morning..." said Siwon. "He left with Sohyun an hour before you woke up because they still have rehearsals for this Friday's Concert..."
(AN: It is Wednesday afternoon... dun dun dun...)
Kyuhyun was still sleepy and accidentally slipped off the bed and fell on the floor with a thud, his face falling flatly on the floor.
"Aiiishhhhh..." cursed Kyuhyun as he rubbed his sore forehead.
You chuckled as you witnessed the whole thing and made him realize that you were already awake. Kyuhyun immediately bolted up and smiled at you.
"______-ah!!!" he said and hugged you on the bed making you flush the a deep shade of red. Henry coughed and Kyuhyun instantly repelled from you.
"Mianhe..." he apologized. Kyuhyun still thinks that Henry is your boyfriend.
You chuckled at Kyuhyun's awkwardness. You then notice someone place a hand on your forehead, It was Ryeowook. You glanced up to him and smiled.
"Oppa, dont you have classes?" you asked. You were wondering why they were there in the first place. Your classes start in the morning.
Kyuhyun sweatdropped and Ryeowook sighed and pointed at Kyuhyun.
"Ask him..." said a chuckling Zhoumi as he walked over towards you as well.
"What? I havent got enough sleep..." lied Kyuhyun and made everybody laugh except you. "What!? What's so funny Hyungs?"
The Truth is, Kyuhyun has been ranting about not going to school with you since they stepped inside the house. He insists that he stay and watch just in case you awoke. Ryeowook just surrendered in persuading him to attend today's classes since Kyuhyun was glued beside your bed. Kyuhyun felt the need to accompany you even though he knew a lot of people are going to stay beside you all day. He eventually fell asleep beside your bed.
"Not enough sleep... Right..." laughed Kibum as he walked over and patted Kyuhyun on the shoulder. Both your eyes met and you both flushed deep red when you remembered what happened yesterday. You swung your head in another direction to avoid eye contact with Kyuhyun. He also faced the other way still blushing.
Siwon noticed both your flushed looks and wondered but quickly dismissed it as he went towards you and sat on the bed. He held your hands and smiled sweetly at you. You blushed as you felt his warm hands on yours as you stare at his dimples.
"______-ah~ Youre hungry right?" he said. You shook your head but your stomach says otherwise and growled. Everybody laughed when they heard this.
"Righhhttt..." laughed Heechul as he stood up.
"I guess i am~" you laughed as well and stuck your tongue out.
"Come lets eat~" said Siwon as he helped you rise up from the bed.
(Siwon Oppa is so caring...) you thought as you were being helped by him. You smiled as you stare at his concerned face. As you were walking down the stairs, Siwon was still there aiding you and making sure you wont fall down.
"Babo! ______-ah is not an old lady..." chuckled Heechul.
"Hyung~ Siwon is just being a gentleman..." said Hangeng as he pinched Heechul's waist as if reminder that Siwon cares about you. Heechul looked at him and understood what he meant.
Henry took note of his Hyung's actions. He smiled to himself as he realized Siwon may also have hidden feelings for you. After an hour, Kyuhyun was forced to attend his afternoon classes since you were already awake.
"No Fair..." he grumbled as they were walking towards school. Ryeowook just laughed at him. "Life is not fair Kyu... remember that..."
Kyuhyun sighed as they both entered the University.
Meanwhile, Back in the Dormitory. After Lunch, Henry took the opportunity to have a private conversation with you.
"Sweetheart..." he said and placed his hands on your shoulder, startling you and making you face him. You saw Henry pouting cutely and you couldn't help but laugh.
"What is it Oppa?" you asked and pinched his cheeks.
(AN: Another Cliff Hanger, Im pretty sure one of these days some of you might literally push me off a cliff, hahaha... Anyway, What does Henry want again???
